(Gieze’s POV)
”Lately, I’ve been losing to Gargantua and Asuka… so winning here is crucial for me to save face.”
Mr. Hiroya comes over to where we were watching and plops down heavily.
”You seem a bit tired, jano.”
”Of course I’m tired, right?”
Ms. Lilith speaks with a hint of concern, and while I respond lightly, I can definitely see the fatigue in myself.
”I’ve been like this since last night. And if you haven’t slept… what about our match?”
Ms. Asuka sits down next to Mr. Hiroya, looking apologetic.
(Mr. Hiroya hasn’t slept… did he stay with Ms. Asuka until morning…?)
When I went to the room, they were indeed sharing the bed… but it seems they were doing more than just that until recently.

Hearing Ms. Lilith talk with Mr. Hiroya made her feel more focused.

We in the Gieze team also need to strengthen our skills.

Silke and Annabelle, without anyone noticing, sat on either side of Mr. Hiroya, enjoying the hot water and his presence.

Ms. Asuka quietly declared while sitting on the edge of the bathtub.

Ms. Simona flexed her muscles to emphasize her point.

Today is finally the last day of the ‘Grand Market.’
Just before breakfast, everyone gathered in the dining hall for Liz’s announcement about team assignments.
”Well, it’s the same as yesterday. ──Anyway, it’s the final day. Everyone, stay focused.”
The members at the table nodded strongly at Liz’s words.
”However, it’s Hiroya’s team that will be on guard here. …After what happened yesterday.”
I nodded back at Liz.
Me, the rank S Simona, and Martina’s ‘Detection’ skill.
I see, they are well-suited for security here.
”And our team will head to the Zett Merchant Guild main branch. ──Gieze, Karina, got it?”
”Understood.”
”Y-yes, leave it to us.”
This team has a good balance with Liz for archery, Sister Karina for magic, and Gieze for close combat.
”So, my team and Ms. Asuka’s team will be on patrol.”
”Got it.”
Dorothy and Asuka nodded to each other across the table.
”I want both teams 3 and 4 to include ‘Chick Gathering Inn’ in their patrol route. Well, given yesterday’s events, it’s unlikely any other underground organizations are sneaking in.”

In response to Kazumi’s question, Gargantua answered while tearing a freshly baked Kuro croissant-like bread.

”I have a favor to ask Liz and everyone here about that.”
While tossing the torn bread into her mouth, Gargantua began.
”I want to base myself here and do some adventurer work for a while. ──Is that okay?”
”You’re very welcome!”
Kazumi responded eagerly to Gargantua’s words.
”Right?”
Then, Kazumi turned to everyone and asked.
”I have no objections either. If anything… I’d like you to join our Famière.”
As Liz casually invited him to the clan, everyone nodded, focusing their gaze on Gargantua.
”About joining the clan… I need to think about it a bit. I have my responsibilities as the oni-kin chieftain.”
Gargantua chuckled at the atmosphere of the place.
”I see. But if you’re going to be here for a while… I’d like to learn various things from you, Gargantua──is that alright?”
”Of course. I will pass on everything I know.”
Gargantua replied with a smile to my request.
