The man clearly looked at me with a contemptuous expression.
I unleashed an Ice Blizzard without a chant towards that face.
The fist-sized ice particles that appeared around me battered the man’s body with the force of a storm.
However, the man stood there, expression unchanged, even as the ice struck him.
”Is this all you’ve got… The quality of True Demon magic has really dropped. I didn’t expect to find a magician of this level…”
The man pointed his finger at me with a face that seemed to lament.
”Fortesia was a dull woman, but since she was from my tribe, I favored her, and that may have been my downfall…”
The air around the man’s fingertip distorted.
In that moment, I felt a magic I had never seen before activate, and I erected a magic barrier.
The shock suddenly struck me, and the magic barrier I had set up shattered like paper.
”Aah! This is ridiculous…”
My arm throbbed painfully from the sudden impact.
Is he really the Demon Lord Orphée Bleu…?
No, my master must be the reincarnation of the Demon Lord Orphée Bleu.
This guy must be a divine enemy to my master!
”There’s no way you can block Penetrate Wind with a barrier from a magician of your caliber. Be grateful it was just your arm. You have a body that looks tastier than Fortesia, so I’ll let you live. I’ll keep you as a pet for my sexual desires, so surrender quietly and spread your legs.”
The man smirked lewdly as he lifted my chin with a quick motion.
”I have already dedicated myself to Almighty Kent. Don’t think a fake like you can touch me! I’d rather take my own life than accept you.”
The man’s expression tightened at my words.
”Oh, so you’re ready to die, then?”
”There’s no way I’m letting that happen! Master Carly has been ignoring me way too much.”
Lina appeared from behind the man and fired several Fire Arrows at his face.
The man stepped away from me and intercepted the Fire Arrows shot by the approaching Lina.
”No way! You can’t just take control like that! Only Sir Clayd should be able to do that…”
Lina had a look of shock on her face as her magic was taken over.
Indeed, it was believed that only Sir Clayd, the True Demon Hero, could use the secret arts to rewrite that magic, but I was stunned that the man before me demonstrated such power.
”How can you use that technique…”
”Even if you ask me why, this trick was originally developed by me, and since I created the magic, it’s only natural that I can use it. Most of the magic was conjured up by me. Now then, this body has a time limit, so I guess it’s time for everyone, including that little Rakshasa over there, to take a nap. The ladies of Kent will need to work hard once I take over their bodies.”
As the man said this, a white mist began to cover my vision.
As I inhaled that mist, my consciousness became hazy, and then it faded completely.

*Milly’s Perspective
While I was rushing to save Carlamia, I saw Carlamia and the others, engulfed in white mist, collapse before me, prompting me to warn everyone.
”That mist seems like something we shouldn’t breathe in. Looking at Carlamia and the others, there’s some movement in their chests, so I don’t think it’s lethal… but we should avoid breathing it in.”
”Lady Miriallia, what should we do? That man is targeting Mr. Kent’s body. If we don’t stop him… Mr. Kent will…”
While Lana was worried about the fallen Lina, she chose to focus on defeating the man.
For her, losing Kent seemed to be a greater fear than losing her sister.
I also believed that if Kent were no longer himself, my reason for living in this world would vanish.
Therefore, I must ensure that the man before us is eliminated without fail.
No matter if he is a former Demon Lord of the divine race.
”You’re right. Let’s pour all our strength into him. I’ll also try for an [Assassination] when I see an opening.”
At my words, everyone nodded in agreement.
”Yes!”
The man looked at us with a sleazy grin on his face.
And as the drifting white mist cleared, we unleashed all our power to attack him.
”I can’t let Lord Kent be taken over. I must bear his child and ensure the prosperity of the Vermillionblade family. Therefore, the father of my unborn child can only be Lord Kent!”
Aurelia unleashed dozens of Sword Flashes, sending shockwaves toward the man.
The continuous shockwaves from the Sword Flashes sliced the man into pieces.
”That’s not fair! I’m the one who will bear Kent’s child next! I won’t give in to Aurelia! If I eliminate this man, Kent will surely praise me! Then, I can get cozy with Kent… Hehe.”
Dee followed up by firing dozens of Air Bullets, obliterating the man’s body into tiny chunks.
”In that case, I need to step up my game. Since my lifespan is short in the Ghost Clan, I need Lord Kent to give me a thorough breeding.”
Giuliana slammed the ground hard with her Cracking Hammer, causing the remaining chunks of flesh to fall into the large crack.
”Did we do it…?”
Talia asked hesitantly.
As the dust settled where the man had stood, he was nowhere to be found.
”What a shame. An attack like that won’t erase me. Still, Kent really knows how to gather beautiful women. My lower half is itching, but taking over Kent’s body comes first. You all stay put for a bit.”
The man activated Flying Wings and floated into the air.
As his fingertips glowed, gray smoke erupted from the feet of Aurelia, Dee, and Giuliana.
The areas touched by the smoke began to turn to stone.
”Ugh, I can’t move.”
”I’m turning to stone.”
”You coward!”
The 3, beginning to petrify, shouted insults at the man.
”Talia! I’m going to cast the magic to remove petrification! Lend me a hand!”
”Yes, Master Lana.”
Lana dashed off with Talia in tow.
However, the man unleashed Bind magic to prevent them from interfering.
”Eek!”
”Whoa!”
The two were ensnared in a bind of magic, trapped in a tangled status.
”Stay still; later, I’ll pamper you all so much you’ll be weak in the knees.”
The man chuckled, bending over with laughter.
At that moment, thinking he was off guard, I rushed in and plunged a dagger into the part of his heart.
Through the dagger, I could feel the heartbeat of the man.
Gradually, the heartbeat grew weaker.
”Ugh! Virsina… are you really going to kill me?”
The man reached out to touch my face, but his strength was feeble.
”I am Miriallia Blackdagger. And the wife of Kent Blackdagger. I’m not some woman named Virsina.”
Once I confirmed his heartbeat had completely stopped, I pulled out the dagger.
The man’s eyes stared into the void, his breath ceased, and he leaned against me.
”We did it-nya!”
”Wait! The magic he cast hasn’t worn off yet! MilMil, be careful!”
The man’s body suddenly moved as if regaining strength.
I found myself wrapped in his arms.
”Tch! I was trying to catch you off guard! Sorry, but you all should stay paralyzed.”
The revived man whispered the incantation of magic in my ear.
”Gathered magic elements, become a cloud of paralysis and bind my enemy’s movements. ‘Paralysis Cloud’!”
A dark mist emitted from the man surrounded us, scattering black particles.
As I inhaled those particles, my body began to lose its freedom.
”No way… I can’t move…”
”Can’t move-nya.”
”Ugh… I’m paralyzed.”
All 3 of us were paralyzed and unable to move.

*Kent’s Perspective
Seeing Milly fall to Orphée Bleu, I couldn’t take it anymore and started running.
”Orphée Bleu! Your target is my body, right? Don’t touch Milly and the others!”
”That’s right. My target is your body, Horikawa Kento.”
Orphée Bleu was behind me in a flash.
It was like he’d teleported.
He twisted my arm behind my back.
Ouch!
The pain was a five-alarm fire in my senses.
”Ouch! Let go!”
”I could let go, but then those precious maids of yours over there would go up in smoke, you know?”
Orphée Bleu was pointing at Annabella and the others running towards me.
”You idiot! Stop it!”
”Gathered magic elements, become the 4 elements and wipe out my enemies! Elemental Burst!”
Four colored lights gathered at Orphée Bleu’s fingertips.
They mixed and formed a ball of light, which he flicked towards them.
The ball of light exploded in front of Annabella and the others, and the whole area was covered in flames, a raging storm, cracks in the ground, and hail.
BOOM! Annabella and Ines were hit by the magic and fell down.
They didn’t seem dead, but they looked seriously hurt.
Only Ines, with a white mist around her, managed to block the magic.
”Orphée Bleu! Stop it! Why are you doing this!”
”Because you stole my vessel and had your fun! Those women were supposed to be mine! But then they got taken by some unknown trash like Horikawa Kento who came from Another World. I’m just fixing things.”
Orphée Bleu was pissed.
His voice made me shrink.
”That doesn’t mean you have to attack with magic! Please stop! If Milly and the others will be saved, I’ll give you my body.”
