Chapter 588-2 Gieze Team, 17th Floor, and Liz Team’s Return
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
”I understand. ‘Don’t push yourself.’ So, that’s the deal.”
Our ‘Gieze Team’, led by Noriss, began to walk through the corridor once more.

(Hiroya’s POV)
”So, are we… heading back?”
”Yeah. We’ve finally tackled the Great Labyrinth Raetia and managed to rescue Frejya’s main body.”
Liz and Kazumi stood up from their seats.
Having finished a late lunch and cleaned up, we started packing our things to prepare for our return.
”I need to replenish some magical power at the Dungeon Core. …After a breather, I think I’ll pay Raetia a visit.”
As the new dungeon master, the water dragon, Wash, also got up after making his declaration into the labyrinth.
”I’ll leave this to you, Wash. ──This one has other matters to attend to…”
”What? This place is my home base. Managing a simple magical power replenishment is a piece of cake.”
”Ho ho ho. That’s reassuring to hear.”
Listening to Frejya, Wash, and Lilith’s conversation feels completely normal, though… they’re both goddesses and a dragon god, after all.
With Rena around, it’s like having 4 deities in one place.

As we were packing up, someone clung to me from behind.
”Hiroya… thanks for your hard work. ──We finally cleared the first hurdle.”
”That’s right. And next up is the ‘Empire.’”
I gently placed my hand on Kazumi’s hand that was wrapped around my waist.
”Hiroya, Kazumi… I dragged you into something incredible… thank you.”
Rena quietly whispered as she approached us.
”What are you saying, Rena? You’re just caught up in the Supreme God’s plans, so there’s no need to feel responsible.”
”Exactly. Besides──since it’s Rena’s issue, it’s only natural for everyone to pitch in and help.”
The 3 whispered quietly to each other.
It pains me to keep from everyone else that behind the incident with Azradelius lies a conflict between the Supreme God and the ruling gods.
It’s probably tough for Rena in that regard too.
”When it’s all over… Rena, I plan to confide in everyone in the clan. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude and apologies.”
”Rena…”
Kazumi and I gently embraced Rena, who whispered sadly.
* * *
”Finally, huh? It feels like it’s been both a long and a short journey… strange, isn’t it?”
Liz approached Kazumi and me, looking lost in thought, likely due to finally conquering the Great Labyrinth Raetia.
It was no doubt a well-deserved relief.
”Next up is the Welnia Labyrinth. I’ll do my best!”
Martina, who hugged Liz from behind, smiled and joined in the circle.
”But… everyone, there’s no need to rush. I understand the urge to hurry, but let’s take a breather before heading to the Empire.”
Dorothy stood beside Liz, smiling.
”Yeah, rushing isn’t good. I need to study different types of magic too.”
Kazumi puffed up with determination!
She clenched her fists tightly.
Yeah, it’s super cute.
”Hey! Shall we get going soon?”
”Rena, the scroll for teleportation!”
Simona and Asuka waved in the center of the hall.
”W-wait a moment!”
”I’m coming right away! ──Noo, can you handle this?”
”Leave it to me!”
Aluda and Meluda, who had been chiseling pieces from the adamantite ore vein in this hall, quickly rushed over after handing some ore to Noo.
”Now then… it’s time to free my true form… I’m counting on you.”
”Alright, I’m definitely heading to the deepest part of the Welnia Labyrinth before Azradelius and the others.”
I replied to Lilith and stood in the center of the hall with everyone.
”So… Rena, it’s up to you.”
”Got it. …Then I’ll head back now. ──’teleportation!’”
Encouraged by Liz, Rena spread out the scroll and began to chant the spell.
Beyond the shining magic light, I could see Wash, the water dragon, waving from his human form.
