(Frieda’s POV)
”Seriously, though, you girls look *amazing* in those outfits. Seriously upping your game.”
”Yeah, what’s with the dresses anyway?”
Simona and Ms. Liz offered me their empty glasses, so Mona and I grabbed the wine and poured for them.
”Well, it *is* a celebratory party. Thought formal wear would be better than our usual uniforms…”
”Ehhh! You Vice-Captains are totally trying to impress Mr. Hiroya, aren’t you!”
”Totally! So unfair! We were helping with the party prep, so we’re stuck in our usual uniforms!”
Silke and Annabelle from Laura’s team pounced on me from behind, but Clay and Maddy just sighed and pulled them off.
I glanced around the hall… and noticed there were fewer people than usual.
At the back table, Ms. Kazumi and Ms. Rena were deep in conversation with Laura’s team──Laura, Eugenia, Nele, and Nina──plus Ilse from the Porters and MayMay from Lady Gargantua’s party.
They must have been talking about the Deep Floor of the Great Labyrinth Raetia, because Ms. Kazumi kept getting super excited, and everyone else was nodding along, really interested.
At the far table, Ms. Ariane──wasn’t she the second wife ofLord Gorge?──and Ms. Lotta, Noriss’s wife, were chatting away with the Wolf Maids while keeping an eye on their 3 kids.
Next to them, Ms. Martina was getting grilled with questions from 4 young Thieves, while Mr. Ares and some of his party members were laughing and clinking their glasses.
(Ah, I get it…)
I glanced over at the next table, where the 4 young’uns from Rose Hip and Ms. Dorothy, Ms. Aluda, Ms. Meluda, and Master Toldo were having a blast.
That’s when I realized…
”Wait a sec… What about the Gieze team?”
”Oh, they’re tackling the Great Labyrinth.”
Ms. Liz replied, finishing off her drink.
”I bet they’re trying to catch up after hearing we conquered it…”
Ms. Asuka chimed in, “Pushing themselves too hard…” as she poured more wine for Ms. Sasha, who sat across from her.
”Ms. Gieze is reliable, so they’ll be fine. She always sticks to the clan’s policies.”
”Indeed, Lady Sasha. Lady Gieze is nothing if not serious, so she’ll probably push even deeper… But because of her personality, she wouldn’t put her team in danger. They’ll be back by tomorrow.”
Ms. Sasha raised her wine glass slightly, and Ms. Shinobu, ever the stoic presence behind her, nodded in agreement.
”Oh? By the way, where’s Ms. Rebecca?”
”She went to get more booze with Lady Gargantua, Sir Hernando, and Sir Esperanza a little while ago.”
Ms. Carla, who had brought more drinks to the table with her daughter, SanSan, answered Ms. Sasha’s question.
Seriously… Lady Gargantua, who was once one of the Demon King’s Four Dark Heavens, is getting more booze?

Just as I was about to burst out laughing, Manuela whispered to me.
”Lady Gargantua… She really did join Famière, didn’t she…?”
”Nah, I heard she’s just a temporary guest. She’s the chieftain of her own clan, after all, and her duties there are no joke.”
”But Vice-Captain, to see the former Four Dark Heavens’ power… I’m dying to!”
Clay, sitting beside me, chuckled, having overheard Manuela and me whispering.
”Yeah, I agree. To witness firsthand the strength that gave the Hero Party a run for their money… I’m all in.”
”I heard it’s legendary swordsmanship, too.”
Warda and Berta joined the conversation, leaning in.
”…Then, you can join Hiroya and me for morning practice. You’ll get to see Gargantua and Hiroya spar.”
”Seriously?!”
My vanguard squad practically leaped to their feet, swarming Ms. Asuka.
”Y-yeah… welcome to join.”
Ms. Asuka, a little taken aback by their enthusiasm, blinked.
”N-no way!”
”That’s right! The training with Mr. Hiroya is ours!”
Annabelle and Silke, already a bit tipsy, shouted with slurred words.
──You two… So you *were* training withLord Hiroya with impure thoughts, huh?
”…Speaking of which, where’s Lord Hiroya?”
I scanned the room just now, but I didn’t see him anywhere.
”Ah… Hiroya, you see…”
Advisor Simona, having finished her glass with Ms. Liz, beckoned us over.
We went over, and she whispered to us.
”He’s… rewarding the team of ladies who protected the clan’s home. Right now… Ms. Hanna, you know?”
”R-rewarding…?”
”In other words…”
Nele and Maddy gulped.
”Right now… they’re probably tangled up in a passionate embrace, don’t you think?”
Ms. Liz winked, a sly grin on her face.

(Hanna’s POV)
Liz’s team is back from exploring the Great Labyrinth Raetia.
(Usually, this moment is filled with happiness and relief…)
I welcome everyone back, safe and sound from their exploration.
It’s the happiest moment of all.
(But… this time…♡)
I’m ready to welcome Mr. Hiroya, who finally found his happiness.
I can’t help but feel so excited!
I greeted everyone at the entrance with Suu and Uu, and you all called out, “We’re home.”
But…
”Huh… Mr. Hiroya!?”
Upon seeing Mr. Hiroya being carried by Ms. Simona, my legs nearly gave out from under me.
”Ah, Ms. Hanna! Relax. Hiroya just passed out from drinking too much.”
”Yeah, he got a bit carried away and had some drinks at the station’s celebration party.”
Ms. Kazumi and Ms. Rena quickly supported me.
”O-Only drinks?”
”That’s right. This guy… he turned into Hiroya…”
”Looks like he slipped back into his old habits and had a few too many…”
As I regained my composure, Ms. Simona and Ms. Dorothy spoke to me in tones of disbelief.
”We should get him into a bath quickly.”
”No, a bath in this state… for now, let’s just put him to bed in a room.”
Ms. Martina tried to urge Ms. Simona, who was carrying Mr. Hiroya, but Ms. Asuka stopped her.
”Well, that’s how it is, so don’t worry, Ms. Hanna. More importantly…”
Ms. Kazumi whispered into my ear.
”Tonight… it’s impossible because of Hiroya like this, but tomorrow night, there’s a Team Ladybug comfort event. …Ms. Sasha has already made arrangements for us♡”
At those words, I felt a warmth spread through my entire body in an instant.
──Soon♡
And embarrassingly enough… I felt a slight tremble as I realized I was getting wet down there.
(With Mr. Hiroya… holding me…♡)
”Suu, prepare some cold water!”
”Uu, I’ll help Sir Hiroya change clothes〜”
With Suu and Uu’s voices bringing me back to my senses… I hurried to get a bucket of hot water and a towel and raced to the bathroom to at least help clean Mr. Hiroya’s body.
