Chapter 636 Kazumi vs. Goliath

(Kazumi’s POV)
When Mama and I were relaxing, suddenly the living room door opened and──
”Madam… Lady Kazumi… P-please run away…”
Our maid, Eifa Barzelet, collapsed into the room.
”Eifa!? W-what happened?”
Mama hurriedly stood up and tried to rush to her, but Eifa desperately held herself up to stop Mama.
”H-hurry… please run away… and… don’t look at me… Nnfh!?”
Eifa suddenly arched her back as if struck by lightning and fell backward.
”Ms. Eifa!?”
I was supposed to be holding Mama back, but I instinctively tried to move toward the strange maid…
”Oh, you finally guided me──nice to meet you. You are Madam Müller. And the lovely woman over there is…”
A man in a black robe entered the living room behind Eifa.
He was tall, and part of his face, peeking out from a deep hood, showed skin that looked like ‘reptilian scales.’
He bent his tall body down and grabbed Eifa by her collar to lift her up.
”Her name is Ms. Kazumi, Hiroya’s fiancée and important woman… and his greatest weakness, right?”
His mouth twisted unpleasantly as his right eye, barely visible through the hood, narrowed.
”If you had just guided me honestly, I wouldn’t have done something so rough. After all, I’m honest…”
The man whispered this near Eifa’s ear and then roughly threw her toward us.
”Eifa!”
Mama somehow caught Eifa with her body and gently laid her down on the spot.
”…What did you do to her…”
”Nothing really. I just taught this rude servant, who doesn’t know how to treat guests, a lesson──using this.”
The man laughed at me as I glared at him, revealing his face as he took off his hood.
The left side of his head looked strangely deformed… was it a scar?
He offered a small object the size of a walnut, pinched in his left hand.
”Could it be… is that…!?”
The incident in the Goblin Forest’s maze occurred in front of the ‘Grand Market.’ It was said that the Frieda Team from Rose Hip encountered the Demon King Goliath, a dragon-like demon and loyal servant of the Demon King Four Dark Heavens, on that teleportation floor.
When I heard the details, something called the ‘Fruit of Impregnation’ came up.
(If I remember correctly… it was the egg of a tentacle creature that forces a woman’s body into pleasure and makes it easy to get pregnant, right?)
So, the reason why Eifa screamed and arched her back earlier was…
”I’m sorry, Eifa.”
I crouched down and pulled up her black long skirt, and there it was.
”Tentacles…!?”

He seemed to have guessed what I was trying to do.
The man laughed unpleasantly again.
”‘Inferno’…”
I placed my hand on the tentacle and softly chanted the magic.
This was the advanced-level magic ‘Inferno,’ which would burn everything inside the enemy.
Normally, flames would erupt so violently that the body would explode, but to make precise adjustments, I delivered the magic through my palm.
The tentacle carbonized in an instant, crumbling away.
And it looks like I managed to handle it without burning Eifa’s vaginal area.
”Oh… this is yet another perfect adjustment. You processed it without burning that servant’s body.”
The man lets out a voice of admiration, but his teasing tone irritates me.
”Mama… take Eifa and run away from here. I will deal with this guy…”
This guy is probably the magic dragon Goliath.
I heard that Hiroya and Simona pushed him to the brink of death.
But…
”Since we got done in by ‘Famière’, you should have just stayed quiet.”
”Even if a cute young lady barks, it just tickles the ears with her lovely voice.”
Goliath makes a disgusting face and gives a displeasing voice as I stand up to protect Mom and Eifa and turn to face Goliath.
”Kazumi… I’ll go get Papa right away.”
Mama, carrying the limp Eifa, left the living room through the door behind her.
”Now then… I’m going to get serious, alright?”
”Let’s see the power of the ‘Daughter of the Inferno’.”
I begin to gather all the magical power inside me.
”Hellfire!”
I threw an advanced-level magic fire spell at Goliath.
Instantly, his body was engulfed in an intense flame.
”Firewall!”
I quickly cast another spell.
A wall of fire appeared between Goliath and me.
I don’t think this will stop him.
I just want to burn his body and use the moment of confusion to chase after Mom.
I hurriedly left the living room.

(I thought I had escaped well, but…)
I was naïve.
I misread the dragon’s fire resistance.
”It’s one thing if it were a water dragon or earth dragon… but magic dragons are good at fire right after fire dragons. Well, since it’s advanced-level magic… it did leave quite a bit of damage.”
Goliath laughed loudly while holding Mom in his right arm and me in his left arm.
I was immediately restrained by Goliath after creating confusion with the firewall and turned to run away.
He charged through that wall of fire without hesitation.
Continuing forward, Goliath captured Mom who was running away while supporting Eifa, and he went down the stairs leading to the front entrance, holding both Mom and me under his arms.
”I have been ordered not to hurt you. ──Of course, not ‘sexually’ either. It’s regrettable, but…”
Goliath talks with a nasty smile.
For now, I was relieved that this guy didn’t lay a hand on Eifa.
”I have no interest in that skinny girl who looks like a servant.”
I’m worried about her, left abandoned in the stairwell, but she should be alright.
Still…
(Not just me, but even Mama got caught…)
A deep sigh escapes me because of my incompetence.
No, it’s actually because Goliath has my mouth covered, so I can’t really sigh at all.
That’s how down I feel.
(Well, I can use Telepathy, though.)
A magic that can be used without speaking.
I decided to tell Rena, who is probably on a date with Hiroya, about the current situation using ‘Telepathy.’
