Yes, no problem.
”Got it, I’ll buy it.”
”T-thank you!”
I felt a little guilty seeing her desperate face, but I kept going.
”I can choose the place, right? Also, whatever I show you, keep it secret.”
The girl paused, looking confused, but soon nodded small.
I thought ‘Love Hotel’ in my mind.
Then, the red door appeared again in front of me.
”Wha!?”
The girl’s eyes widened at the door that suddenly appeared, and she stepped back in shock.
”W-What is that…?”
Honestly, I was worried about showing this skill, Love Hotel, to others.
To people from this world, this strange door must look weird and suspicious.
Every time I used the skill, I worried I might get into some trouble.
But not using it here would be such a waste.
I really want to use Love Hotel as it is meant to be.
If I don’t bring a girl, it’s just a regular hotel.
This was a chance to use the only skill I’ve got, and a place to be with a cute girl.
I couldn’t think of a better option.
Using some rundown place here would ruin everything.
After coming this far, what’s the point of playing it safe?
I told myself that and hoped this girl wouldn’t tell anyone.
I walked through the door and pulled the girl in with me.
”Is this… magic?”
”Well, sort of.”
I replied vaguely.
Honestly, I didn’t even know if this skill could be called magic.
I didn’t know about other magic or skills, and I’m not sure if similar things exist in this world.
”I’ve never heard of magic like this… how did you do it?”
The girl murmured to herself, looking around the room in disbelief.
Her voice shook with surprise.
Seeing her reaction, it seemed my skill was something special in this world too.
Her shocked gaze made me realize the true value of my skill.
The girl looks around the room with wide eyes, curious about everything.
The fancy bed and modern furniture are new to her.
I wonder how this strange place looks to her.
”Well then…”
When I speak, she jumps slightly.
It’s like she’s scared I’ll do something to her right away.
I’m not that eager, though.
I can’t help but smile a bit.
”I’ll get some drinks, just wait a moment.”
I say this and gently guide her to the sofa.
”Sit here and relax.”
I reach out my hand lightly, and she hesitates but then sits down on the sofa quietly.
Maybe she feels a little less nervous now.
What drink should I get?
I stop myself from asking.
She probably doesn’t know what’s available, and I don’t know the drinks here either.
I’ll just pick something a girl might like.
She sits on the sofa, taking her time to observe the room.
Her face shows a mix of surprise.
She gently touches the sofa fabric and opens her mouth.
”This is really high quality. The sofa and each piece of furniture seem expensive. A room this nice would be rare even for the nobility.”
She glances at the nearby table and lightly touches its surface.
”Is this wood something special? It seems like something a regular craftsman couldn’t get. It’s very well made, and I’ve never seen anything like it.”
Listening to her, I realize that the quality of this room is also valued highly in her world.
It seems she thinks of this Love Hotel as a luxurious space for nobles or royalty.
”How did this room become so amazing…”
She talks as if she’s wandered into a treasure room from another world.
Her excitement is clear.
”I’m sorry… I haven’t introduced myself. I’m Lifia.”
As she says this, she bows her head slightly.
Her golden hair sways, carrying a faint floral scent.
Her clear blue eyes are looking up at me.
”I’m Taro. Nice to meet you, Lifia.”
”Mr. Taro?”
Lifia slowly says my name, but she stumbles.
It seems like it’s a bit different from the language here, so she can’t say it well.
”You can just call me big brother.”
I answer with a laugh.
At my age, being called “big brother” is kind of nice.
