Chapter 669 Achievement

(Frieda’s POV)
”So! We’ve reached the deepest part!”
As I went to greet the Helena team returning to the Clan house in the late morning, along with the available members, I couldn’t help but shout in joy at their bright expressions, realizing they had achieved their goal.
”Yes. We all made it to the Lord of the Dungeon, the Dragon God Sir Wash, without anyone missing.”
──Waaaaaah!
The members helping with unloading from the carriage cheered loudly.
”We’ll take care of the loot and luggage, so the Helena team should relax in Famière’s hot springs.”
”No… we should make a report first, right?”
As I prompted them, the team members joyfully headed towards Famière’s mansion, but the ever-serious Captain Helena turned to me, intent on continuing the dungeon exploration report.
I leaned in close to whisper in her ear.
”Shouldn’t we report to Mr. Hiroya first? We’ve cleared the ‘promise of reaching the 20th floor’.”
Immediately, Helena’s face turned bright red, and she turned towards the Clan house as if to cover it up.
”C’mon, now! At least take off your gear and change before you go to the bath.”
She called out to her team members like that.

(Helena’s POV)
When we visited Famière’s mansion, we were greeted by the wolf-maid, Suu.
It seemed that Mr. Hiroya and the others were gathered in the cafeteria, having an important discussion.
”You must be tired from exploring the Great Labyrinth. Please take your time and relax.”
Suu, who proudly guided us to Famière’s large bathhouse, said this and then left down the corridor.
She probably returned to the cafeteria.
We hurried to undress, eager to relax our bodies in the hot water.

”Phew… soaking in this hot spring after exploring is the best.”
”Yeah… it feels like all the tiredness is flowing away with the water.”
Erne and Aoi let out deep sighs.
Especially Aoi, who used the big move ‘Shadow Sword’ and almost ran out of magical power, came back feeling wobbly.
This hot spring in Raetia must be soaking into her body.
”But… in the end, the final boss of the maze was a Salamander, right?”
”Yes… it was a worthy opponent.”
Vianca, who finished washing up, entered the hot spring, so I shifted a bit to listen to her talk.
”That knight who was fishing in the underground lake with the sea serpent… looked like quite a skilled fighter.”
”Darius Grant… was it? He said he was ‘one of the Four Holy Guardians,’ but what does that mean?”
The knight from the underground lake on the 20th floor, who was brought up in conversation with Ramona and Machua.
He was giving our Helena team a sharp look, as if judging our strength.
”But still, he let us pass without saying anything, so he can’t be a bad person, right?”
”That’s true, but… he looked at us like he could pierce through us. Just that gaze made my legs shake.”
While Arica spoke optimistically as usual, Yori seemed to sense the pressure coming from him and shivered slightly.
Luckily, it seemed we were deemed worthy of evaluation,
”Hmm… the dungeon master, the Dragon God (Wash), is beyond here,”
the knight said, then went back to fishing in the underground lake.
But if it came to a fight…
”That’s right. If it comes to battle… he would probably be much stronger than the Salamander.”
I remembered the time I faced him and felt truly relieved that he let us pass.
