The gong sounded to start the match.
”Sorry, but I won’t let you get through me.”
Saying that, I opened the menu, chose my contract dragons Rosvita and Ludmila, and selected Dragon Transformation.
”Oh nooo! Lord Kent! You’re too fast!”
With a crackle, Rosvita’s battle-style cheongsam tore away, and a snake-like eastern dragon appeared in the arena.
”You must fight at full strength. That’s how Sir Kent’s power will show.”
Ludmila began to transform too, turning into a large, 4-legged western dragon with big wings.
The armor they wore was special──it synced and merged with their Dragon Transformation.
The crowd gasped to see the Dragonia-type Dragon Transformation.
Rosalinda’s team members were stunned by the fierce sight.
”Don’t get scared by a snake like that, you guys!”
Rosalinda scolded her teammates, and their looks changed.
She quickly gave them battle formation orders.
”Rosalinda’s really fired up. But I’m fired up too. I feel great today!”
Thanks to the morning’s mating session, Milly had a different kind of energy.
Aurelia, sitting beside her, noticed and asked.
”Lady Miriallia… did you have sex with Lord Kent this morning?”
”Yes, I got a really thick, nourishing ‘shot.’ I’m so full of energy, I can’t hold back at all.”
Milly rolled her shoulders to show she felt great.
”Mr. Kent… it’s unfair that only Ms. Miriallia got that! I want some too… Meg learned some powerful cooking from Chancellor Aldo’s chef, so I’ll treat you in the private room next time. Please look forward to it.”
Lana, standing next to her, was envying Milly too.
She helps out at the clinic 2 days a week as a part-time Healer, but most of the time, she’s in a special room, giggling and laughing lewdly with the Nurses and Healers.
Of course, if Lana is around, she gets called in first to breed.
Hmm, I wonder if it’s okay to add more semen to it… but since Meg learned cooking from Old Keith, it’s likely to be Japanese food… guess I have no choice but to eat it…
”Got it. I’ll be looking forward to it during my next shift.”
I touched Lana’s butt while making a promise to visit.
”I’ll be waiting.”
”Alright, enough playing. Carly, Flamil, provide magical support for the vanguard.”
I gave instructions to the two Magicians in the rearguard.
”Understood. My lord.”
”Yes, sir.”
The two of them activated their respective magics.
Carly successfully cast ‘Ivy Bind,’ taking away the mobility of the enemy team, except for Rosalinda.
Then, Flamil’s ‘Stone Blast’ exploded right there.
Rosalinda’s team members screamed in agony from the relentless attack.
”As expected, they say the concubines of the South District Margrave King are no joke. It’s true that you won’t get scouted unless you’re a master of your craft.”
Rosalinda calmly assessed the battle situation, even though her team members seemed to be dropping out early in the game.
”But we can’t just let ourselves be completely defeated, can we?”
Rosalinda took a throwing knife from her leg and hurled it at the binding ivy.
The knife sliced through the ivy.
”Ignore the vanguard’s dragon girl! I’ll take down Lady Miriallia and Asura’s girl at once and go for the General’s head. We win if I bring back the General’s head. You guys, fight with your lives on the line!”
Rosalinda seems to have chosen a quick battle.
She must have realized that if we fought properly, they would easily be defeated, so she plans to pour all her team’s strength into a single, fleeting attack.
”I won’t let Lord Kent reach you, Rosvita!”
Rosvita sensed the enemy’s intent and opened her mouth wide to Roar, concentrating light at her lips.
Then, a beam of light shot out towards Rosalinda and the others.
”Spread out! We’re going with formation Zero-Two!”
Rosalinda’s team scattered, avoiding Rosvita’s beam in a spread formation.
They all ran towards us at full speed.
”You pesky little ones~. I’ll blow you away with my tail!”
Ludmila unleashed her special move, Tail Swing, which she could only use in dragon form.
With a whoosh, Ludmila’s thick tail swung towards Rosalinda and the others, trying to knock them away.
”That’s nothing! I can handle it!”
Rosalinda and her team read the timing of Ludmila’s Tail Swing perfectly, jumping high off the tail and breaking through the two in the front.
”What! They dodged!”
”To make such a mistake… Are we going to the barn for punishment?”
Rosvita’s eyes turned to me as Rosalinda’s team broke through.
I nodded silently.
”Eek! I’m happy but not happy… But I can’t leave this duty to Lady Dee… I have to take it on myself.”
”Really!? Then, then, I’ll also make a mistake and go to the barn for punishment…”
Milly saw Rosvita’s flustered state and decided she wanted to be punished by me too.
”You’re really something, Lady Miriallia…”
I threw the white thread-like things that Rosalinda and the others had at Milly and Aurelia.
The thrown items were white spider silk, dropped by the White Spider.
This silk is known for its strong resistance to slashing attacks and high stickiness, making it impossible to move once bound by it.
Currently, the guard team also uses this white spider silk to capture thieves and criminals, and if multiple strands are thrown, even Milly would be unable to move.
”Oh no! Kent! I got careless!”
Milly was dramatically tangled in the white spider silk shot by Rosalinda and couldn’t move.
It was clearly a lazy job aimed at sending her to the barn (the punishment room).
”Milly, losing here is really bad, you know? Do you understand?”
”Hehe, keep being careless. It makes it easier for us to target General’s head.”
Meanwhile, Aurelia was seriously slashing away the white spider silk with her sword, trying to stop Rosalinda and her team from breaking through with her [Sword Flash].
”Nothing can escape my blade! I won’t let you reach Lord Kent!”
However, Aurelia only managed to stop 3 of them, while the other 5 quickly slipped into the rearguard.
”I won’t let you get close to Sir Kent!”
Flamil unleashed dozens of [Fire Arrows] at once, locking onto the approaching Rosalinda and her team.
The arrows shot out with a loud whoosh.
”This is all part of the plan. You guys, throw away that thing!”
Rosalinda instructed her team to discard something.
The members were throwing pieces of meat as they ran.
Suddenly, about 80 percent of the locked [Fire Arrows] were drawn towards the meat pieces.
”W-What!? No way…”
Flamil was shocked to see her magic lock released, standing frozen without even using a Physical Guard as the enemy closed in.
”Hehe, that meat is from a [Mana Eater]!”
”What!? That’s a [Mana Eater] that only lives in that deep area!!”
Flamil stared at Rosalinda in shock.
Milly had told me that [Mana Eater] were large tentacle monsters that absorbed mana to grow and had the ability to force a lock (designation) to change to themselves.
Flamil seemed surprised by the fact that the monster’s meat retained its abilities.
”The meat keeping the monster’s abilities…”
”You won’t just space out during battle!”
Rosalinda seized the opening and unleashed [Double Sword Slash] from her Two-handed weapon.
A double-layered shock wave struck the stunned Flamil.
”Aaaaaah!!”
”Lady Flamil! Are you lot aware that this person is the one who leads the True Demon Clan?”
Carly, enraged by Flamil being attacked, activated her Advanced-level magic, [Ice Blizzard].
”Idiot! Activating it here will involve our allies too! And besides, last time with the Advanced-level magic… that was inside a barrier, so it was fine.”
I reprimanded Carly without thinking for launching a wide-range magic.
”Eeek! My lord, this is an emergency. Please forgive me. The one who will unite the new True Demon Clan is in danger.”
The [Ice Blizzard] she unleashed, involving our allies, turned the venue into a death zone of snow and ice, except for Lana who was inside the barrier of my Armor’s emitted magical power.
”Even with a barrier, releasing Advanced-level magic in the middle of town is pretty reckless for a Magician. What a strange party we have.”
Rosalinda wrapped herself in frost and broke through the death zone created by the Ice Blizzard.
But the cost of getting through was the loss of 3 members.
What I didn’t expect was that the two vanguards, with their body temperatures dropping from Carly’s Ice Blizzard, were losing their will to fight and trying to hibernate.
”Rosvita! Ludmila! Don’t sleep!”
”Lord Kent… we are strong in magic, but… weak against the cold… zzz…”
”I can’t stand this cold either… zzz…”
They fell asleep!!!
Our strongest fighters have been knocked out!
”My lord… I’m sorry. It was not on purpose… not on purpose… cough…”
While I was looking at the vanguard, Rosalinda had sacrificed one of the remaining members to neutralize Carly.
”A sudden party can lose coordination. No matter how strong you are alone, if you can’t work together, you can be beaten by someone like us.”
”Ugh, amazing. We’ve been through some tough battles too, but we still can’t match Rosalinda and her team in teamwork.”
Since it turned into a one-on-one fight, I readied my favorite Explode Gunlance and large shield, entering combat mode.
My silver steel armor had already activated physical and magic barriers, creating a mist around us.
Our remaining fighter is Aurelia, but she’s surrounded by 3 enemies and can’t come to help me.
Milly, on the other hand, was caught in white spider silk, completely defenseless, looking like she had a blindfold and a gag, shouting ‘Mmmph!’
Poor Milly is in for a punishment today… I had just given her a boost of energy this morning…
”Lord Blackdagger, you seem so relaxed, even while fighting. That amazing Golerg armor you made with all that money must be incredible. Just looking at it, I can tell it’s a masterpiece. But I will pierce through it!”
