Volume 2 Chapter 12-2 The Receptionist’s Role

Tifi looked at the sky with a drooling face, her tongue hanging out.

When I pulled out my dick, Lifia started to lick up the love juice and sperm that was on it.

I gently hugged the exhausted Tifi.

I gently rubbed her big breasts, letting her rest for a while.

”Even so, I won’t be able to see Tifi for a while since we’ll be in the Dungeon for several days.”

 ”Ugh, ah…”

Tifi reacted to my words, which I let slip out.

It seems she’s back to her senses.

”It can’t be helped. I’ll be waiting outside.”

”How about you come with me? You don’t have to work so hard.”

I’ll be lonely if I’m away from Tifi.

If she came with me, I’d feel safe, and we could share the comfort of the Love Hotel.

Above all, it’s hard to go without sex with Tifi for days.

 But Tifi smiled, looking troubled.

”To be honest, now that I know how comfortable it is to live in this room, I feel it’s inconvenient to live outside. But…”

After saying that, she lowered her gaze, as if choosing her words carefully.

Then, after a moment as if taking a deep breath, she began to speak slowly.

”If I go to the Dungeon with you, I’m sure I’ll just be a burden. I don’t have the strength to fight, and I can’t use Spirit Magic like Lif-Lif. But still, I want to be of use to Mr. Taro. So I thought about it. Maybe there’s something only I can do.”

 Tifi continued her words.

”I think that in order for me to be useful to Mr. Taro, I should work as a guild staff member. Supporting procedures, gathering information. Because I can’t do anything as an adventurer, it’s my job to support Mr. Taro from the outside.”

I could feel her determination in her words.

There’s no doubt that her feelings of wanting to come with me are genuine.

Even so, she must have calmly assessed my position and ability, and thought hard about what she could do.

Her serious feelings warmed my chest.

Tifi thinking so much about me, honestly, it makes me nothing but happy.

”Alright. Thanks, Tifi. If you do that, it’ll really help me out.”

When I said that, Tifi gave a slight, happy smile.

”As long as Mr. Taro comes back safely, that’s the most important thing. Please be careful.”

”Of course. I’ll try to come back as soon as I can.”

I pull her close and kiss her.

Then, I whisper in her ear.

”Then, since we won’t see each other for a while, I ought to make the most of today.”

 ”Eh, s-such…!”

 Tifi shows a despairing expression.

Yet, within that expression, there was an undeniable expectation.

The next morning, we visited the weapon shop and decided to look for a new sword first.

However, I don’t know much about swords.

Depending on the shopkeeper’s recommendation and the feel of it in my hand, I buy a sword that seems easy to use for about 100,000 Aurum.

It’s a simple piece with no decoration.

Spending so much on a weapon is a bit painful, but it can’t be helped for Dungeon exploration.

Meanwhile, Lifia’s bow is left as is.

In Lifia’s case, using Spirit Magic to accelerate and guide her arrows, there’s little benefit to using a high-performance bow.

”The bow I have now is enough, my master.”

If she says it’s fine, then it’s probably okay.

I do feel like giving her a fancier bow, though.

After preparing for the day, we step back into the Dungeon.

The cave-like Dungeon is a maze in itself.

Narrow passages twist and turn, making one’s sense of direction go haywire.

Near the entrance, you often pass other adventurers, so it doesn’t feel too dangerous.

But the situation changes dramatically once you go deeper.

There’s a fear of getting lost and never finding your way back.

Normal adventurers seem to buy maps or make their own while they explore.

But we don’t need to do that.

Once inside the Dungeon, we move away from the entrance.

Then we make sure there are no people around.

”Alright, Lifia, I’m counting on you.”

 ”Yes, Master.”

Lifia quietly closes her eyes and chants her spell.

 ”Moo-Moo, Ex Vent”

Then, a wind began to swirl around her, softly flowing through the Dungeon.

The wind swept through the corridors, seeping into walls and dead ends.

All of it was sensed by Moo-Moo and conveyed to Lifia.

Thus, we could grasp the structure of the Dungeon.

This method was only possible because it was a closed space, a cave-like Dungeon.

After watching for a while, Lifia suddenly opened her eyes and smiled at me.

”I’ve found it, my master. There seems to be a staircase leading down to the lower level.”

 ”Oh, as expected.”

A distance that would take an adventurer a day to reach, the wind could cover in an instant.

And all the information from where the wind reached, Lifia could understand.

I was truly impressed by how useful Spirit Magic could be.

”Let’s set off then. Lead the way.”

 ”Yes, leave it to me!”

Lifia indicated the direction to go, and we headed towards our next destination without any hesitation.

This way, we should be able to efficiently advance even into deep-layer exploration.

We stepped forward, heading deeper into the Dungeon.
