Loveho-Isekai v3c13

Volume 3 Chapter 13 Where is the New Sword?

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

 ”Oh, Milorddd! I’m so sorry!”

Kéa clings to me, tears filling her eyes as she apologizes.

She looks completely different from the brave knight she was a moment ago.

Lifia gently pats Kéa on the head, saying “There, there,” to comfort her.

The whole thing started during a fight on Dungeon 1st Floor.

The two swords I gave Kéa reached their limit.

After fierce attacks against the skeleton, the first sword broke at the base of the blade, and then the second one shattered too.

I chose the two swords to match her dual-wielding style, which made their quality worse.

Even so, it shouldn’t have been a problem for an average adventurer facing a skeleton.

The swords just couldn’t keep up with Kéa’s amazing physical abilities.

For now, we decided to retreat from the Dungeon and take refuge in a safe Love Hotel.

”Milord… I’m really sorry! I’ll do anything, so please don’t throw me away!”

 Kéa clings to me again.

Her shoulders shake slightly, and I can tell she feels responsible.

”It can’t be helped this time. The swords were cheap.”

I say this to encourage Kéa, but her expression is still gloomy.

I would never throw away a busty knight like her.

”Don’t worry, I won’t throw you away. You are mine. I will never let you go.”

I pull her close and give her a kiss.

 ”Mmm, Master… Mmm, mmm…”

I hold her and we share a deep kiss while I gently squeeze her butt.

After a while, she’s calmed down, finally feeling at ease.

Kéa sinks into the sofa, and Lifia softly strokes her head beside her.

Watching them, I decided to try one idea.

 It’s the laundry service.

It’s one of the features of the Love Hotel.

Before, when my leather armor got a huge hole, I used this service and it was perfectly repaired.

Its ability to completely fix dirt and tears is amazing, far surpassing cleaning technology on Earth.

What do you think would happen if I used this on a sword?

 It’s worth trying.

I put the broken swords into the laundry machine slot.

I picked up all the shattered pieces as much as I could and put them in together.

The slot is wide enough to fit a laundry basket.

A one-handed sword length fits easily.

I close the door, press the repair button on the menu, and the job is done in an instant.

 The result is──

 ”Alright, it worked.”

The two swords were perfectly restored.

The broken parts were completely back to normal, no dirt or rust at all.

 They shine like new.

 ”Ooooh…!?”

Kéa looks at the sword, her eyes wide with surprise.

Her face shows disbelief and amazement.

”Amazing! Milord, what kind of magic is this…”

 ”Master is truly incredible!”

Lifia stands proudly beside, puffing out her chest, like she’s proud of herself.

Kéa, looking confused but impressed, nods in agreement.

”Milord, thank you very much! I’ll be more careful not to break it again!”

Kéa trembles with joy and surprise as she takes the sword.

The sword has been successfully repaired.

 The immediate problem is solved.

”Keeping using this sword forever isn’t really possible.”

Even though it’s repaired, the sword’s overall performance is the same as before.

 It’s still fragile.

It’s only a matter of time before it breaks again in a fierce fight.

If Kéa fights while trying not to break the sword, her fighting power will be limited.

She needs a new, durable dual-wield sword with better function and toughness.

”Just asking out of curiosity, where does this Rox family’s sword come from?”

The sword used by Kéa’s father, stolen by bounty hunter Hasa, and now in my hands.

I was curious about where it was made and its origin.

If there’s a way to get something of the same quality, the problem would be solved.

”I heard this sword was originally from the first Rox ancestor, who got it in a dungeon. He used this sword to achieve fame and was made a knight, I hear.”

 ”I see, it’s from a dungeon then.”

I certainly thought it was an amazing sword.

If it’s from a dungeon treasure chest, you can find such items.

But if it’s from a dungeon treasure chest, it’s impossible to find an equal sword.

There’s no guarantee that the equipment you want will come from a chest, and the chances of finding a treasure chest are low.

Speaking of which, I haven’t found a treasure chest in the dungeon myself.

They say that even regular adventurers are lucky if they find a few in a year, so I guess it can’t be helped.

It seems the appearance rate of treasure chests on the 3rd Floor of the dungeon is still very low.

Anyway, I need to think of other ways to get a sword for Kéa.

* * *

”So, you want to ask me for advice?”

”Yeah. I was hoping you might have a good idea.”

We were at the tavern attached to the adventurer’s guild.

Sitting across the table was Gaedaf.

He’s a Gold Rank adventurer and the leader of the famous adventurer party “Star of the Dawn.”

I thought that since he is a battle-hardened veteran, he might have a solution to our problem.

 ”Um, Milord, who is this?”

Kéa, standing behind me, asked quietly.

She must have met him once but doesn’t remember.

That’s to be expected; back then, Kéa could only see me.

”This is Gaedaf, a Gold Rank adventurer. He was the one who held you down when you were rampaging.”

 ”That time…!”

”And also, it was Gaedaf who delivered the final blow to Hasa.”

When Kéa first met me at the guild, she thought I was her father’s enemy and attacked me.

It was Gaedaf who restrained her at that moment.

And it was also Gaedaf who ended that enemy’s life.

”So that’s how it is! Sir Gaedaf, thank you for your help that time! I really appreciate it! And I also thank you again for avenging my father!”

 Kéa expressed her gratitude loudly.

Her movements were knightly and dignified.

Although she was in a bikini armor.

”That wild girl from back then has become quite calm. I’m glad to see you’ve properly educated her.”

Gaedaf said, looking at Kéa’s outfit.

Yes, Kéa’s scandalous outfit is my punishment for the crime of assault, pretending it’s for education.

Of course, I have my own interests here too.

With her skin boldly exposed and a crotch tattoo in the style of a s*x sl*ve knight, she attracts attention from adventurers.

Honestly, she’s getting way more stares than the famous Gold Rank adventurer, Gaedaf.

Maybe she’s gotten a little used to those lewd stares, as Kéa stands confidently behind me.

She looks like a proper bodyguard knight.

 A s*x sl*ve knight, though.

”So, onto the main topic, you can’t find a weapon for dual-wielding?”

”Yeah. Kéa’s fighting style suits dual-wielding, but I can’t find the right sword size and balance. And even if I wanted custom-made, with our rank, shops won’t help us.”

After hearing my words, Gaedaf crossed his arms and thought for a moment.

Then, he suddenly looked up with a grin.

”If that’s the case, I can introduce you to a smith I know.”

”That would help. I owe you one.”

”No problem, I owe Taro for Hasa’s matter. This is the least I can do.”

 But Gaedaf continued.

”Now, this smith can be a bit eccentric. He’ll need money, but it’s better if you bring him some kind of gift.”

”A gift? What kind would be good?”

”If you bring him some alcohol or a rare metal item, he’ll be happy.”

 Alcohol and metal.

Right, I can probably manage that.

 ”And then…”

Gaedaf glances briefly at my back.

There are Kéa and Lifia, the bikini-armored knight and the mini-skirted half-elf maid.

 ”?”

The two of them tilt their heads in confusion.

”No, it’s nothing. That should be enough.”

It feels a bit cryptic, but if it’s not a problem, that’s fine.
