Lifia hung her head and sighed dejectedly.
Her Spirit Magic can see through people’s emotions and lies.
But it only works on the surface.
If someone believes their own lie, she can’t see through it.
That was exactly Yomi’s case.
Lifia couldn’t see through the years of suppression, Yomi believing her current self was innocent.
But this outcome is actually better for me.
”Nah, Lifia did good.”
I say this while stroking Lifia’s blonde hair.
The Yomi who speaks her mind, who doesn’t hold back, is way more attractive to me.
I don’t even get angry at her rebellious words.
Normally, she should be careful not to upset me, given her position.
There’s no more comfortable place than a Love Hotel.
And whether I accept her or not is up to me.

Her words sound like a brave front, but I don’t miss the way her ears are all red.

I say this as I pull Yomi closer.

She freezes for a second, but there’s no resistance.

When I ask, Yomi bites her lip and looks down.

Yomi mutters this with a hint of self-deprecation.
Her skill ‘Reading Comprehension’ only lets her memorize the contents of books perfectly.
It’s completely useless in dungeon raids or battles.
She can use low-level magic, but is powerless in the deep floors of dungeons.
I can’t take her to dangerous dungeons.
But just wasting time at a love hotel isn’t healthy either.
