Rising Monk V3c90-3

Volume 3 Chapter 90 Surprise Attack Strategy (Abandoned) II♡

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

”My underground facility… is using the amber-haired Witch as a breeding ground for thorns. If it becomes a steaming oven here, the Witch will die… Weak as she is, she won’t be able to escape.”

 ”……”

(The amber-haired Head Magician──could it be Lyritisse?)

’Forget her. More importantly, kill the Lich. Don’t let a big fish slip away for the sake of one Witch from another party.’

(That’s foolish. It can’t be helped. She’s under protection.)

’That one is a strong enemy. If you let him go, you’ll regret it.’

(No way. The Quest takes priority.)

’Tch, how serious can you be!’

”Well then, I’ll take my leave. I remember your face. Next time, I’ll win.”

 ”Wait!”

He called out, but the Lich vanished, leaving a trail of light from the third floor.

He was climbing up the ventilation shaft to escape.

If he had pursued without hesitation, he might have caught him, but then Lyritisse, who was trapped underground, would be buried alive.

”Protect the Quest target. If we save Lyritisse and find out where Rean and the others are, our job will be done.”

’You think the Guild will just let you go after doing the bare minimum? If you save ‘Lion’s Companion,’ it’s guaranteed that orders will come down to save this land in their place. We should kill the Lich with that in mind.’

”No, I’ll help Lyritisse. ‘Glasses,’ let’s find the entrance to this underground facility together.”

Kian insisted as ‘Glasses’ let out a small sigh.

’To the left in the back on the first floor, behind the bookshelf. If you pull the lever on the wall in the front, the shelf will shift, revealing a hidden passage. ──And also,’

 ”‘Glasses’? …What!?”

A mist, like blood smoke, clouded his vision, forming a human shape before him.

Kian silently watched the mist materialize into a figure.

 ”Huff.”

What appeared was indeed a beautiful girl with blonde hair and red eyes.

She was the same ‘Glasses’ who helped him in the fight against Oswald.

Dressed in shabby clothes like those worn by prostitutes, she had her hands on her hips and was giving Kian a half-lidded glare.

”This one should chase the magician. But if you run out of magic power along the way, you’d better forgive me.”

”‘Glasses’… were you twiddling your thumbs again?”

”No. It’s just that the air here is comfortable for me. If I leave the Erynys’ Spiritual Vein I’ll lose my powers again. ──It’s fine, just go now.”

’Glasses’ had turned into a red mist and was floating towards the third floor as she finished her last line.

Kian, despite ‘glasses’ condition, was so shocked for a moment that he couldn’t move.

But he soon shook it off and dashed towards the back of the burning cave.

 (‘Glasses’, you are…)

Kian, quickly undoing the hidden mechanism of the secret passage, thought about his partner who had chased after Lich.

* * *

Behind the bookshelf, a hidden door was adorned with a painting of what appeared to be the wolf god Wooloo, drawn in white oil paint.

This was supposed to be the remains of a temple dedicated to the goddess ‘Abyss Daughter Erynys’, which was quite odd.

Could it be that the god Lich worshipped before his conversion was Wooloo?

If so, then being able to evade the Secret Technique ‘Pursuit of the Shadow’ (probably for the first time) and respond to his attacks as if he knew them…

 ”Ugh… That’s a terrible smell.”

As Kian stepped into the hidden staircase leading down, a pungent smell of fresh grass wafted up, covering his mouth.

This must be ── probably a type of pheromone.

A smell that seemed quite foul to a man.

To be more precise, it smelled like the semen of a young male.

If he used a vampire’s sense of smell, he could immediately tell that this was the smell of plant sap.

A faint, sticky sound like tentacles squirming could be heard, and Kian began to run down the stairs, skipping every other step.

Along the staircase, there were several small rooms branching off like ant nests, each containing withered vines, wooden boxes filled with soil for growing seedlings, and piles of bones.

Only a brief glance, but the skulls and pelvic bones all seemed to belong to women in their twenties and thirties.

With a bad feeling growing, he continued to descend, deeper and deeper.

(It seems that lich was cultivating brambles here, but he didn’t let in sunlight. Perhaps the nutrients came from the flesh of the sacrifices that had turned to bone…)

The gently sloping tunnel resembles a goblin’s lair.

Proceed straight for 2 hundred meters.

The sound of tentacles undulating becomes clear, mingling with the stench of urine and the sweet scent of a woman’s arousal in the air.

Even without a person inside the ‘glasses’, they functioned normally, highlighting the Lyritisse’s weakened magic power in a pale red that had never been seen before.

 ”────! Ms. Lyritisse!”

He jumps into what seems to be the lowest room in the tunnel.

Inside, there was the figure of a woman with flaxen hair, trapped by thick, reddish-purple tentacles that had grown from wooden boxes.

Her limbs were bound by the tentacles.

Her usually neat hair was disheveled, hanging down her back, with strands stuck to her white forehead.

Her eyes were covered by tentacles, and a phallic tip of a monster was thrust into her thin, peach-colored lips.

Fine tentacles playfully wrapped around her untrimmed armpit hair, making her plump breasts jiggle with every small squirm.

Her groin was also covered with hair of the same color.

The details were hidden, but it seemed that thin, moss-like tentacles with fine hairs were writhing, siphoning up and nourishing themselves with the oozing love juices.

 ”Ah… ghh…”

The tentacle in her lips was pulled out.

Lyritisse’s pink tongue was also drawn out, and a string of white sap from the tentacle’s tip was tugged tight.

Was it a minimal life-sustaining fluid, a paralyzing venom, or an aphrodisiac to make her leak honey from her groin?──.

Perhaps that white liquid contained all those effects.

A tentacle sprayed fluid onto Lyritisse’s face, making her moan softly as it rubbed against her lower abdomen, bringing her to a small climax.

Waves of moss-like hair crept over her lower belly, covered in pubic hair, as they gathered around the gushing tide.

”Damn it, what the hell is this? I need to help her quickly.”

Kian muttered to himself, then quickly stepped toward Lyritisse and reached for her tentacles.

 ──Hissss

A red petal lurking behind Lyritisse hissed in warning, sounding like some insect-like monster, but Kian wasn’t fazed at all.

Grabbing the petal roughly, he froze it with ‘Silver Ice’ and tore it from its stem.

Then he yanked Lyritisse out of the tentacle chair, pulling free what looked like a sapling root lodged in her ass.

White mucus clung to it, bridging the gap between the stretched-open canal in Lyritisse’s ass and the root.

Swinging his Windsong Blade carelessly, Kian chopped the strange plant-creature into pieces, then called out weakly to the n*ked woman convulsing on the ground.

 ”Lyritisse! Stay with me! Lyritisse!”

 ”…ah…”

Her long lashes trembled as her blue eyes slowly fluttered open.

A few strands of flaxen hair stuck to the corner of her lips.

The healer magician of the Lion’s Companion barely moved her saliva-stained lips.

”Sir Rean and the others… follow… please… West of the ruins… there’s a broken Spiritual Vein teleportation circle…”

Even though her mind was probably still cloudy from being toyed with by that tentacle creature, her willpower was fierce.

She slowly stretched out a pale finger to touch Kian’s armor.

But she seemed to fail in grabbing hold.

 ”Please… something wrong… Sir Rean… please…”

”Got it. My friends will catch up soon. So there’s a teleportation circle west of the ruins, right? Fix that, and we can track Rean and the others?”

 ”…yeah.”

Lyritisse clenched her teeth and nodded once.

Her blue eyes closed as a clear tear slid down her cheek.

 ”Sir Rean… don’t leave me behind…!”
