My first childbirth? It hurt like hell.
Thought I might honestly die.

Emily-senpai flips the channel, and suddenly everyone’s eyes whip around to the TV.
’He did it! Walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the ninth!’
’Normally, that wouldn’t be a home run. If you look at the ball’s trajectory, it wasn’t thrown into a sweet spot or anything, and the angle’s rough. He didn’t even catch it on the sweet spot of the bat──just muscled it over with sheer strength. In the end, power──well-trained muscles──solves everything.’
Ughh, good thing everyone panicked and hit record for me.
But still──Aqua!
Could you not go pull off something epic like that while I’m still stuck being pregnant?!
Seriously though, how did he get roped into amateur baseball in the first place?
Kohina-senpai came by later apologizing, saying it was all her fault, but even after she explained the whole situation──like, 3 times──I still barely understood how it happened.
Honestly, thinking too much about Aqua, Emily-senpai, and Kaede-senpai is just a waste of brain cells.
Emily-senpai grabs the TV remote and flips the channels.
”Uh, let’s see… footage from when Aqua-sama was surrounded by reporters… Oh, got it──here it is!”
The screen shows Aqua outside, surrounded by a crowd of journalists, right before our big planning meeting.
Yes! This is what I’ve been dying to watch.
I totally passed out at this point, so I missed it live.
’It’s been a few hours since the big reveal. How are you feeling now?’
’Honestly? I’m thrilled. Still kind of floating. I know I’m supposed to be the responsible new dad and all, but my happiness is kind of overwhelming. I can literally feel myself getting carried away.’
Aqua’s answer makes the whole pack of reporters light up with smiles.

Back row, listen up! Turn around, yep, that’s it. Keep walking, straight on home!’

At her command, the mass of people who’d gathered just… break away and start leaving Shirogane Kingdom en masse.
Okay, we did plan for something like this.
Government, police, Self-Defense Force, transit… everyone was ready to shut things down the moment the “arrival” happened.
But come on──having Main Street packed solid with people, all the way out past the outer ring?
No one saw that coming.
I might’ve underestimated just how game Japanese fans are when they get hyped up…
’And in another update, Prime Minister Habu says the government’s considering sending in the Self-Defense Force to deal with Great Kaiju Yukari-gon.’
”WHY?! If it was Kaede, sure, but I’m just a normal human, okay?! And this time, I haven’t even caused any trouble!”
