”I’m smashing everything on the surface, then heading back. Sorry, but anyone who tries flying up to stop me? I’m crushing them and tearing it up down there too.”
”Understood, my dear. Battles have been so frequent lately──I simply *love* it.”
Dee blasted forward, slashing through the airborne another world monsters with her claws, snapping some apart with her fangs── ripping them out of the sky one after another.
”Kent!! Dee!! You two hogging all the action is not cool, man! Let me fight too!!”
Clayd shot out from Ludmila’s transport basket, his Flying Wings bursting to life.
He flew ahead and drop-kicked the eagle-shaped another world monster trying to swarm Dee, slamming it out of the sky.
”Father! Stealing my prey is most unfair, you know!”
”You idiot! There’s more monsters here than we can count! Don’t be stingy!!”
Clayd blazed past Dee, weaving through the flying monsters and hitting the skies right above where the completed another world monsters waited on the ground.
With a wild, hungry look on his face, he glared down at the monsters below and started chanting his magic.
”Gather, mana! Turn into fire that burns everything to ash! Wipe out my enemies──Megid Explosion!!”
A ball of light, packed with mana, formed in Clayd’s hand.
Slowly, it began dropping toward the earth.
The instant it touched the ground, a wave of blazing heat and a blinding flash blasted across the waiting monsters, roasting them where they stood.
Caught in the superheated whirlwind, the monsters melted, stopped moving, and died without a chance to fight back.
”Ha! Pathetic! I’m not the weakling I was back in the Gertroud fight! Come on! Let’s go! Gather, mana! Become a blade of light in my hand──Light Blade!!”
Clayd lands on the ground,握持着Light Blade, and starts slicing down the ‘another world monster’ bodies one by one, the ones that survived on the surface.
He must’ve been holding back a lot… looks like he’s taking out all his frustration now.
”Father has gotten quite strong too… If I slack off, I’ll lose my prey,” she noted.
”Whoa! Wait, Dee, hold up!!” Clayd shouts.
After Dee finishes taking down the ‘another world monsters’ in the air, he and Ludmila descend to the battlefield where Clayd is fighting alone on the ground.
As they land, not just Dee, but Iska jumps out too, starting to pummel the surrounding ‘another world monsters’.
”Kent! I’m gonna pound a bunch of ‘another world monsters’ too!! You better give me a reward later,” Iska yells.
”Sure. How about a shot of extra-rich sperm for every ten you take down?” Kent teases.
”Deal! If you’re lying, I’ll pound you,” Iska threatens.
Fired up by the prospect of breeding rights, Iska starts kicking the enemies away with more enthusiasm.
Already transformed by the monster meat from Renge, Iska’s fingertips have long claws, her lower half is a horse, and her tail is a giant snake.
She kicks ‘another world monsters’ away with horse hooves, then rips their skin with her claws, and finishes them off with the snake’s fangs.
In her chimera form, Iska is just as fierce as Clayd and Dee, driving back many ‘another world monsters’.
”Oh my, it seems it’s not our turn yet. Anyway, let’s leave the rampaging to those 3 and we can investigate this strange facility, shall we?” suggests one.
”Agreed. Lina and Valentina can handle the facility investigation, and we’ll ask the other 2 to act as guards.”
We left the ‘another world monster’ near the facility to Dee and the others, and decided to check out the weird production facility setup sticking out of the crack of time and space.
As we investigated, the building turned out to be even bigger than it looked from above, with parts that seemed organic like blood vessels and others that reminded you of metal robots, giving off a really strange vibe.
”…Seems like they’re using Magic Tools here and there too. Maybe the ‘another world monster’ has something to do with ancient civilizations…”
Lina peered into the ‘another world monster’ production equipment with deep interest.
The Rakshasa Clan has Scholars who find meaning in research and Engineers who get a kick out of experimenting, and the Engineer Valentina started taking apart part of the facility next to Lina.
”According to Lady Arsella’s notes on the regional large-scale barrier she completed and the local investigation of the quickly-made another world gate (Abyss Gate), there were supposed to be ruins and buildings resembling ancient civilizations on the other side of the crack of time and space, with silver machinery scattered around… Could this be part of that machinery?”
”No way! That kind of description wasn’t in the notes our ancestor left us!”
”…It was a diary written before the Demon Lord chased us, so… perhaps she didn’t want her descendants to carry the burden of her guilt for the expedition team she chose all disappearing, and for summoning ‘another world monsters’ to our world…”
Lina and Valentina started exchanging opinions about the facility from another world that appeared on the ground.
”So, is this really an ancient civilization’s facility? But you don’t find things with both mechanical and biological features like this in ruins. Love Dolls have biological features, but they don’t have a metallic feel…”
”…Maybe it’s a different system of civilization… something other than the ancient civilization…”
While the two were messing with the equipment and looking around, a huge silver arm grew from the ground and lunged at Lina and Valentina.
”Watch out!!”
In an instant, Milly shoved Lina and Valentina to the ground to protect them.
Valentina, suddenly pushed down, struggled under Milly’s large chest, squirming awkwardly.
But Lina, on the other hand, seemed to enjoy the pressure of Milly’s boobs.
But there was no time to care about that.
The silver arm, once again targeting Milly and the others, was hit by a barrage of Elitzina shots aimed right at it.
*Tatata, tatatan, tatata.*
The silver arm, shot through by my bullets, started leaking fluid from its joints before finally freezing up, unable to move.
Looking at this situation, it seemed like the equipment in front of us had the same structure as an ‘another world monster’──a biological trait, where it stopped moving once it lost its fluids.
”Either way, this structure seems to have recognized us as enemies. I’ll take a part of the equipment back with us and destroy the rest. We can’t leave this thing alone.”
”For an idiot like Kent, that’s actually a smart idea. If we leave it running, South District will be overrun with ‘another world monsters’ before we know it.”
”…I agree, for now, it seems better to destroy it. If something like this keeps running in Coco, we wouldn’t be able to sleep at night.”
Lina and Valentina seemed to realize how dangerous the equipment was too, agreeing with my idea to destroy it.
”So, I’ll go ahead and do it without hesitation. Gathered mana, become the divine thunderbolt of the gods and destroy everything! *Divine Thunderbolt*!!”
Without caring about the gathered mana, I cast Divine Magic, locking on to enemies within sight one after another.
As the area in front of me was filled with green *lock* indicators, I unleashed the Divine Magic.
Suddenly, a bolt of lightning shot down from the clear sky, striking the silver arm rising from the ground and the body of the ‘another world monster’ on the dolly.
