Pressured by Shifa’s decision, the Kingdom’s nobles sent up a round of applause in agreement.

Someone from the Kingdom started cheering “Long live,” but instead of ‘another world monster’, it was me they wanted to bring down.

It seems I became the sole target for destruction because of that image, but since the Kingdom nobles also got fired up to defeat ‘another world monster’, I’m ready to endure the guys’ jealousy after we take care of ‘another world monster’.
So, despite a little trouble, it looks like the True Demon Kingdom is almost certain to join the ‘another world monster’ extermination campaign.

Clayd appeared in my private chamber, having returned early from his training due to some urgent matter.

That punk Clayd had to go and bring Delprius, the delinquent girl who ran away from home, straight into my private chamber as the crown prince of the Black Dragon Dukedom.
”Well, Mother. You seem to be in good health. Is this little one my sister Delariona? How adorable…”
Delprius acted like nothing was wrong, casually petting her sister Delariona’s cheek.
As someone who had to cut ties with my own daughter in heart-wrenching sorrow, I couldn’t refuse a meeting in my private chambers, away from my retainers.
”…Delprius’s sister. You ran away and got involved with Kent, so Clayd had to step in. I won’t let you near Kent.”
My hatred for Margrave South District King Kent Blackdagger, who captivated Delprius and tore our family apart, wasn’t easily erased. I always thought about taking his head, but for now, I couldn’t make a move against the South District without any openings.
”Actually, there’s something I need to report to Mother…”
Delprius, who had been petting Delariona’s cheek, looked at me with a strange expression and started talking.
”Report something?”
She seemed so awkward and fidgety, it was almost painful to watch.
”…I did it…”
”Huh?”
Delprius spoke so softly that I ended up asking her to repeat herself without thinking.
”Because I did it already!!!!”
”Huh? Wh-wh-wh-wh-what?!”
Delprius’s sudden ‘I did it’ declaration almost made me drop Delariona in surprise.
B-But when she say ‘did it’… s-she mean… with a kid, right? Clayd mentioned it, and she was supposedly having sex with Kent every day… Ahhh, enough already!
Ludmila, Rosvita, why the hell is Delprius pregnant?!
”Clayd!!! What the hell is going on?! Why would Dee have a baby?!”
As I approached Clayd, who was lounging on the sofa, I grabbed him by the hair and lifted his head up.
”Owwww!! Dee!! That’s not what she meant when she said ‘done,’ damn it!! Explain it properly to Fabulanova! Ow ow ow, ugh, my skull’s gonna crack!”
Clayd’s anger kept boiling over as he pressed harder on his own forehead, bones creaking under his fingers.
”Mother, no, you got it wrong! What I ‘did’ was a Dragon Transformation! Out at the dragon’s graveyard, our ancestor Lord Bendavar gave me her power!”
”Huh!? Are you kidding me──what the HELL!!! Lord Bendavar?! You can do a Dragon Transformation now?! Are you making any sense right now?!”
Fabulanova’s brain felt like it was short-circuiting.
Delprius might as well’ve been speaking another language. The dragon graveyard was built by Lord Bendavar, founder of the Black Dragon Dukedom.
According to one theory, only those who realized the time of death could hear a voice from Bendavar and be led to be invited.
”So, with Lord Bendavar’s power, I can now transform into a *super huge* dragon! Finally, I’m a full-fledged Dragonia woman! And Kent officially marked our contract, so now I’m *his* and his alone, hehe!”
Delprius proudly showed off the dragon seal etched on her chest.
On Dee’s chest, Kent Blackdagger’s signature was branded like a tattoo—a mark of ownership.
That little pervert! He’s gone and claimed Dee completely, hasn’t he?! I’ll kill him! I’ll *absolutely* kill him!! For a man from the Majin Clan to contract a Royal Dragonia woman—it’s *unforgivable*!
Dee had managed to suppress her hatred for Kent after the birth of Delariona, but seeing him mark Delprius reignited her murderous rage.
”Clayd!! We’re wiping out Kent Blackdagger, right now! Get orders to Ugno──move out! The target is Kent Blackdagger. I want his head, and nobody else’s!”
”W-wait! That’s bad! I’m here as Kent’s messenger! If I go back without finishing my job, I’ll get thrown out, I swear!”
Dee was holding me back.
Way stronger than before.
Even if I went all out, I wasn’t sure I could break free.
This kid… transforming into a dragon at her age… and this strong, too…
She’s my child with Clayd, born with the [Red]──just like him. Delprius had the best Materials around, but pretty much all she knew was the palace.
The fact she’s come this far, this fast──it’s unreal. Most Dragonia live so long, they barely grow up at all.
But Dee? She grew up fast. Freakishly fast.
For my own daughter, she’s a little terrifying…
”Fine. I’ll listen to what Delprius has to say first.”
”Thank you, truly! So, uh, here’s what Kent asked──there’s a whole swarm of ‘another world monsters’ pouring out of the another world gate, the Abyss Gate. He wants help dealing with it. There’s going to be a meeting in Capital City soon to talk about countermeasures, and he wants you──Mother──to go.”
Delprius was dead serious, doing her duty.
She’d done all sorts of stuff already, pulling the Black Dragon Clan together in the South District.
You could see the results everywhere──she was growing up, for sure.
”…’another world monsters’… That place only exists thanks to Arsella Dorman’s barrier. If we close it carelessly, the whole barrier could collapse.”
”Fabulanova… The barrier of Arsella Dorman is gone. Instead, the Abyss Gate to another world is getting bigger. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. If we leave it alone, it won’t just be the Margrave South District that gets wiped out. If that country falls, those ‘otherworld monsters’ will march north and destroy the Black Dragon Dukedom. We can’t wait until then. I’m ready to crush those ‘otherworld monsters’ to protect Delprius, you, and Delariona. Now’s not the time for us to fight each other.”
Once Clayd slipped from my grasp, he got serious and started talking about what’s happening around the Abyss Gate.
He’s a combat nut, but even for him, fighting ‘otherworld monsters’ sounds intense.
…A world crisis, huh? I don’t know if it’s true… but if Clayd and Dee are talking about it this much, I guess I should show up at that big meeting.
Right away, I start crunching numbers in my head.
Since Rosvita left, my relationship with Nord and Ugno, who became my trusted advisors, has been getting worse every day. The country seems to be splitting into Nord’s and Ugno’s factions again.
Maybe it’s better to give them an outside enemy to unite against than to let them fight each other in secret.
Thinking about it, taking down ‘otherworld monsters’ might not be a bad fight to pick.
”…Understood. If His Majesty Shifa calls, I will come at once. Let’s restore Lady Delprius’s honor.”
I decided to change my attitude towards Delprius on purpose.
If she’s a formal messenger from the Margrave South District, I can’t ignore the proper etiquette, even if we’re family.
”Ah… thank you, truly. I’m just glad I could deliver the message…”
So, I took what Delprius told me, talked it over with my advisors, and when His Majesty Shifa’s envoy officially requested we join the Demon Continent summit, I sent back a yes right away.
