 Siren sound──*ping ping*

 In the fading grasp of consciousness, I hear the ambulance’s siren. I come back to awareness, just a little.

 (I’m going to die here.)

 I naturally felt death approaching.

 I was hit by a car, but I didn’t feel any pain.

 Not only that, I had no sensation at all in my body.

 A strange feeling──my mind is the only thing still there.

 But even that consciousness won’t last long.

 Haa…

 I took a deep breath and, in that moment, ended my 42 years of life.

 Nothing I did was worth bragging about.

 My life caused trouble for many people.

 If heaven and hell really exist──

 I’d say I’m definitely headed for hell.

 But, if there is a next life──

 I want to be someone who can help others.
