Rising Monk V3c114

Volume 3 Chapter 114 Do You Want To See My P*Nis That Much? Part I

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

Sarah grips Kian’s right arm tightly with both hands.

Her brown cheeks turn faintly red as she glances down and softly speaks.

”W-Would you like to sleep together in my bed tonight? If I put up a sound-blocking barrier, Ms. Serena and the others won’t notice.”

”If you put up a sound-blocking barrier, you won’t be able to react in case of an emergency.”

Kian, who had witnessed Sarah’s insect techniques on Azrael countless times, felt uneasy about sleeping with her. He was trying to find a way to talk her into a quiet sleep without any s*x involved.

 ”Not tonight. Let’s just sleep.”

”Still, even without sound, if someone touches the barrier, we’ll know. Your familiar is patrolling the area around it, so it should be fine, I think.”

 ”Just to be safe.”

”I don’t understand why you’d avoid s*x for safety. Your magic power is pretty low already. I don’t think you can even swing your magic sword properly now, can you?”

”The ‘Silver Ice’ armor automatically restores my magic power. It’ll be back to a decent level in 3 days.”

”So I don’t get why we need to wait like this.”

Sarah moves around to Kian’s front and looks up at him, peering into his face.

Azrael, a beautiful woman with black hair and brown skin.

She’s also well-endowed, making her perfect to hug.

 She smells great, too.

But the sight of her controlling a massive swarm of flies earlier, or the image of her spitting out neon-colored poisonous insects, left a shocking impact. Every time they kissed, the flashbacks came, and even while embracing her, he couldn’t shake the thought, “I touched so many flies with these hands.”

(Should I be honest? No, absolutely not.)

She’s using her insect techniques sincerely, to help Rean and ensure the safety of their mission. Saying something like “it’s too gross” or “I can’t get excited” would be disrespectful to her efforts.

It’s not like he’s terribly bad with bugs, and he doesn’t mind doing… things with her. A man should be able to endure that much, he thinks. But…

For example, what if, during s*x, he… goes soft?

What if, after embracing, he can’t get aroused at all, and instead vomits because of how bad he feels?

What if Sarah’s trying so hard to get excited, but he comes off as cold, and she knows it?

 He would deeply hurt her.

Right now, he has a normal erection, and he wants to kiss and… do everything, but he doesn’t know when his… will go limp. More than the physical aspect, Kian feared s*x that might hurt Sarah.

”I don’t mind doing things with you, Kian. In fact, I want to be with you…”

Sarah said it clearly, her cheeks flushed.

Her obsidian eyes shimmered, her heels lifted, and her lips drew near.

 Thin, but beautiful lips.

He didn’t know how many of his warrior monk peers wanted to claim those lips.

They were too much for Kian.

(But, it’s still scary. I don’t want to… go soft and hurt Sarah.)

”Sorry, Sarah. I’m tired. I’m going to bed now.”

 ”Eh…?”

He turned away and distanced himself from his childhood friend.

Sarah was frozen, as if she’d seen something unbelievable.

 ”Good night.”

 ”Wait!”

Dodging her outstretched hand, Kian went back to his bed.

Glancing back, he saw Sarah, hugging herself with a mournful expression, looking down.

The next day, Kian left camp before dawn to find the Spiritual Vein used for teleportation by the Barghest. Using Sarah’s makeshift dull-looking divining magic tool, he carefully searched. While most would get lost in the Great Forest, Kian navigated efficiently without missing the trail.

The vampire’s physical ability was overwhelming, so even in the forest, movement wasn’t a problem, and encountering monsters just meant a quick magic snack.

Two hours before sunset, he finished exploring the planned area, carrying a hunted deer back to camp. He had drained its blood and frozen it solid with ‘Silver Ice’. Multiple ticks were on the fur, but they likely all died during the super cold freeze. With the vampire’s cheat equipment and abilities, surviving the Great Forest seemed easy. Back in the early days of magic civilization, vampires probably possessed powers almost like gods.

When he arrived at camp, Serena was already starting to prepare dinner.

Sarah and Ninini also came out by the campfire, and surprisingly, Rean was sitting on a sturdy rock-made chair a little away. The chair was nicely shaped, likely created with Serena’s magic.

 ”Welcome back, Kian.”

 Serena’s expression was very stiff.

She quickly looked away from Kian and focused on stirring the pot.

”Welcome back, Kian. How did it go?”

Sarah hurried over with an awkward smile, more uneasy than usual.

”Sorry. I couldn’t find it. But I brought a souvenir. The bloodletting’s already done.”

”Wow, a big deer! Thank you, Kian. Let me help you take off your armor.”

 ”No, it’s fine.”

 ”Uh…”

He took a step back, unsure of his distance from Sarah.

As Kian set down his pack and began to thaw the venison, Sarah, who hadn’t given up, sat beside him. “I’ll help,” she offered with a charming smile. Kian gave a faint smile, but wanting to avoid any nighttime activities, he subtly moved away from Sarah.

 ”Hey, are you…avoiding me?”

 ”No, not at all.”

 ”Yes, you are!”

”Hey hey, let’s stop the tension-nya!”

”But Kian is clearly avoiding me! What else can I do!”

”Kian, are you avoiding-nya? Seems like always-nya.”

”It’s not like always at all. I feel like there’s a Wall! Hey, Kian, are you angry I made you run from the wilderness to the Great Forest? Or because I looked at the Windsong Blade?”

”Huh, you looked at the Windsong Blade?”

 ”I did! Sorry!”

Sarah said this with a face and voice that didn’t seem like she was apologizing, and then she puffed out her chest.

Ninini, who was cleaning her lockpicks, gave a look of exasperation.

”Sarah, Adventurers hate anyone touching their tools-nya. Even with Kian, there are things you can and can’t do-nya.”

”…I, too, was annoyed when Lyr rummaged through my backpack. Even if you’re in a relationship, you should respect privacy. If you’re not dating, it’s even worse to go through someone’s belongings.”

”Nah, Lyr was just taking care of you, Rean, who doesn’t care about belongings or maintenance-nya. Even if you were rummaged, you-“

”Lyr is not my mother. Anyone would feel bad if someone messed with their stuff, not just me. Kian, what do you think?”

”Well, I wouldn’t like it. Ah, but I’m not angry at all──”

”Kian, you thought of me as a bothersome mother.”

 ”Huh?”

”You must think I’m annoying, that’s why you’re treating me like this.”

 ”No, that’s not it…”

”……Ugh! Kian, you’re such an idiot!”

The last part was spoken in Azrael’s language.

Sarah, her eyes welling up with tears, clenched her shoulders and dashed off toward the fountain, leaving the square.

It was a scene you often see in romance dramas, but unlike the usual heroine who quickly exits the stage, Sarah didn’t just leave quickly. She slammed through shrubs and vines, breaking them apart as she vanished into the greenery. The deafening noise of snapping branches and tearing plants──*crack*, *snap*, *crunch*──sounded like a monster had passed through.

Ninini muttered with a terrified look, “Is that… a gorilla-nya…?”

”Ms. Sarah really drops about 15 years in maturity when she’s arguing with Kian, huh…”

Serena, tasting the soup, casually murmured as though it had nothing to do with her.

 ”She’s usually such a reliable person…”

”Kian, shouldn’t you go after her?”
