Chapter 56 Constipation
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
A few months after helping Yui with her digestive issues, Haruto noticed a change in her condition. During their regular check-ins, he observed that Yui’s digestive system, which had been sensitive, now seemed to be improving. Without any preliminary steps, Haruto could assess her progress directly.
(But you never know until you monitor everything closely.)
Haruto explained that Yui’s current state was a result of his careful guidance. In other words, it was possible to restore her digestive health to normal.
(Could this be related to digestive discomfort?)
*Digestive discomfort refers to issues with the intestines or digestive tract, causing symptoms like irregular bowel movements or discomfort during digestion.*
”Hey, are you sure your digestive system is okay? It seems a bit sensitive.”
”Ha… ha… Eh? Eh… Hah… I’m fine… Hah.”
Indeed, her digestive tract was more relaxed during their check-ins, but that was because Haruto had just assessed her condition. It wasn’t always in this state.
However, her digestive system seemed less responsive than before. There was no strong reaction from her intestines.
While it was interesting to see the progress, Haruto had no intention of stopping the treatment. To move to the next step, he asked Yui to get something readily available.
Stomach-soothing tea
*Stomach-soothing tea is a gentle remedy to support digestive health.*
(Maybe it’s time to try this?)
After some time, her digestive system had settled. Then, a cup of stomach-soothing tea was given to her. Of course, the tea was a standard, mild blend suitable for everyone.
(It’s still a bit sensitive.)
Her digestive tract was already calmer, so there was some resistance, but the tea helped soothe it further. Haruto observed Yui while she sipped the tea.
”Ahh… um… ah… ah.”
She seemed to be feeling some relief. After a while, she said,
”Ah… Haruto… kun… this feels better.”
”Wasn’t the tea enough to make you feel good?”
”Ahhh… it feels good, but… ah… it’s not enough.”
That made sense.
After months of careful treatment, suddenly switching to a milder remedy would indeed feel insufficient. However, everything had gone as planned so far.
From now on, Yui’s digestive system would not be directly assessed for a while.
Normally, one would think it would gradually return to its original state, but…
How much would it recover?
Would it return completely? Or only partially?
What would happen if her digestive health was reassessed in that recovered state?
Would there be discomfort like at the beginning?
Furthermore, the unexpected progress in her healing—
Would that progress be affected if it returned to normal?
Haruto’s guidance, under the guise of careful observation, continued.
