”Hey, you guys, that’s enough. Fall back.”
The Major said. When he spoke, the group of four men crawled away, barely managing to escape.
”Um, Major. Could it be that you’re worried about me?”
”Ah, no. Sorry, sorry. I didn’t expect you to be this strong. I tried to act like a subordinate to impress you, but… who are you?”
What did he say? The Major made those guys provoke me on purpose to show off? How silly. But now, the Major’s look is not silly at all. This is… the look of someone who wants to catch me. There’s no doubt he’s suspicious of who I really am.
”Sorry. Could it be that you were trying to get my attention, Major? I’m just a wandering Beastfolk girl…”
”Hmm. From the way you fight, it looks like you’ve been trained well. Were you in the military, police, or maybe a spy?”
”No, you’re thinking too much. I’m just a regular Beastfolk girl…”
”Heh. Then let’s see what your body can do. You’re my type, so I’ll train you to be my slave.”
What he’s saying is silly, but his desire to hurt me is real. Can I win? Ah, if only I had a sword.
The moment I thought the Major in front of me moved, he appeared right before me, standing tall. I couldn’t react as his punch hit my stomach, sending me flying backward.
”Guh…”
Damn, I messed up. I can’t even laugh at that group of four now. I still haven’t trained enough.
”Ah, sorry. I didn’t mean to knock you back. I won’t hurt you anymore, so just listen to me.”
The Major said. He crouched beside me, who was lying on the ground, and suddenly shoved his hand into my skirt, pulling down my shorts.
”Kufuu…”
I can’t even scream anymore. The pain from earlier is still strong, and I can barely move my arms and legs.
The Major moved behind me, who was lying face down. He pushed up my skirt, exposed my butt, lifted my tail, and looked at my private area closely. That’s not fair. Don’t touch there with your finger!
”Huh. I’ve never seen a Beastfolk girl’s private area before, but it looks a little narrow. But it’s not much different from a demon’s. Well then…”
I heard a sound behind me as someone unfastened my pants’ belt. Oh no, not that. It’s touching the tip… Yuuta… Sorry….
”Let’s eat.”
When the Major spoke, I instinctively closed my eyes… Wait, what? It’s not pushing in? I slowly opened my eyes and looked back. There, the Major was frozen, about to insert himself. And he wasn’t looking at me. Hmm?
”Artemis. Long time no see. But… what happened to your shameful state? That woman is very important to me. Step away quickly!!”
”Eh, this voice…”
”Your Majesty Emperor!? “
”Ah, Ms. Puruun. Are you alright? My subordinates acted rudely… I will punish this person right here…”
”No, no, Your Majesty. Why are you here? And subordinates? “
”No, I had a bad feeling and came to pick you up, then felt danger… And this person is Artemis, the commander of my direct guard, who was my personal bodyguard.”
”Eh──. Major. Your Majesty’s direct guard!? How impressive!! “
The Major’s face was pale and trembling. Haha, he’s really part of the imperial guard.
”Your Majesty the Emperor. As for this… I wonder how to explain… Well, I’m glad you’re safe!!”
”Don’t mess around, Artemis. How do you plan to fix this? Kill yourself now, or let me behead you?”
”U-um, I’d prefer neither… and if Your Majesty is alive, I must report to General Peacock!”

As His Majesty the Emperor moved to strike Artemis with a downward blow, I thought, “Pfft!” and couldn’t help but laugh.
”Enough of this act, Your Majesty. Now that I’ve finally caught someone important from the Imperial Guard, it would be a waste to kill him so easily.”
”So, Ms. Puruun, you’re saying that? Alright, I’ll spare his life. But how will you use him?”
”Hmm… Major, I’ll ask you directly. If you had to choose between Your Majesty and General Peacock, whom would you choose?”
”That’s… I am the captain of the Imperial Guard. I would choose Your Majesty without hesitation!”
”Well said. I trust you. Effective immediately, you are released from General Peacock’s command and placed under Your Majesty’s direct command. Remember this. And… if possible, show your loyalty here.”
”Well, showing loyalty here is…”
”──Ms. Puruun, this man has a wife and children in the imperial capital. If you threaten him with what he did to you today…”
”Ah, blackmail, got it, Your Majesty.”
”Hey… Your Majesty, just my wife…”
”You haven’t changed, still afraid of your wife. Yet, you have such poor taste in women… You were about to be beheaded today, but Ms. Puruun saved you. As a man, you should dedicate yourself to your savior.”
”Yes. And, Your Majesty, is this Ms. Puruun… perhaps…”
”Yes. She is the chief secretary of the neighboring country’s envoy and my elopement partner! How dare you lay a hand on her!”
Balmstra the Emperor said this and laughed heartily for the first time in a while, which made me happy.
