*Kent’s perspective
”Kent, I might not be able to hold back anymore…”
When Vanquish’s voice faded, the giant started struggling to break free from Iska, who was holding her back.
The fake human, who had merged with the Beast Monster of the End, turned into an even more ugly creature. After erasing Vanquish’s soul, its eyes turned red again.
’This is ridiculous! Trying to control me!’
The fake human, now in control of its body again, looked angry. It had been kicked out just before the exit, where it had merged with us.
From the fake human’s point of view, we was about stopping the process of opening a path to attack the people of the Celestial Kingdom. They had abandoned it, and it had absorbed many people after coming into the outside world.
I understand the fake human’s pain, but if it means destroying the world I live in, I can’t let that happen.
”Sorry, but you’ll have to fall into the darkness here. I want to protect my world.”
’You’re so sneaky. If I get serious, you’ll regret it──’
The giant, Iska, broke free from me, who was holding her, and threw her to the ground.
”Kuhh. So strong.”
Even the fake human, now the Beast Monster of the End, has enough power to easily lift and throw Iska. But it doesn’t have strong attacks against the approaching darkness. Still, we think we can push it into the void ourselves.
”Milly, everyone. Help Iska. Push it into the darkness!”
”Yes.”
After being thrown, Iska gets up, gathers her strength, flaps her wings, and charges at the fake human.
’Damn it! Why is everyone stopping me! The ones who abandoned me are the problem! Why are you in my way!’
The fake human thinks its actions are right, so it feels no guilt for the harm it causes.
It’s like a child throwing a tantrum, but much worse. Its size and power cause huge damage.
Every time the fake human gets angrier, pieces of flesh fall from its giant body. From these pieces, strange monsters start to appear.
’I’ll definitely take revenge using my little monsters. Wait for me, I’ll do it soon.’
I shiver seeing the fake human’s crazy eyes, but I can’t hesitate. I draw my sword to fight the new monsters.
The new monsters are soft and easy to kill, unlike the stronger ones from before. Even a simple sword can pierce them.
”Sir Kent, let me handle the weak monsters.”
Annabella, seeing the monsters aren’t strong, offers to deal with them.
”Sorry, I’ll leave it to you.”
”Yes. Leave it to me.”
Annabella quickly grabs her mace and swings it at the monsters appearing one after another.
’My children, nooooooo!’
The fake human roars in anger as its monsters are destroyed. The roar creates a shockwave that hits us.”
”Don’t get blown away! Stay strong!”
”Everyone, behind me!”
To avoid the shockwave, I move behind Delprius, who has transformed into a dragon. Everyone else, except the giant Iska, does the same. The shockwave blows away the monsters, sending them into the void.
The fake human screams even louder seeing this.
’Noooooooo! Why! Why did this happen! My childrennnnnnnn!! Nooooooooooooooo!!’
Its personality seems completely broken now.
’This is a lie. A lie. LIEEEEEEEE!! I’ll take revenge on those Celestial Kingdom people and live with that person!!’
The shockwave from the fake human gets stronger. Even Delprius struggles to hold it back.
At that moment, Iska sneaks behind the fake human and pierces its heart with her claws.
Did it work? As expected, destroying the heart of a living being is a big blow.
”Poor thing. The person you’re thinking of is probably dead. But you can still meet them in your memories, right?”
Iska, who pierced the fake human’s heart, whispers softly. Her words strike me too. She’s likely talking about Rosalinda, Heta, and the others who died in this battle.
”Noooooooo. That person won’t die. They’re a god, immortal!!”
The fake human shakes its head violently and pushes Iska away. Purple or silver fluid flows from its chest, spreading on the ground.
”That person won’t die! Those goddesses must have trapped them, there’s no other way!”
The fake human gets very angry and attacks Iska, punching her. Even Iska struggles against its power, eventually getting grabbed by the throat and lifted up.
Above Iska, a dark void from another dimension opens. Iska’s life is in danger.
”I’ll save Iska.”
”Got it. Everyone, let’s go.”
Milly draws her dagger and prepares to fight the fake human trying to drop Iska into the void. I and the others also draw our weapons and rush toward the fake human’s feet.
’You annoying bastards!!!!’
The fake human tries to brush us off with its wings. A streak of light cuts my cheek, and I smell burning flesh. But I keep attacking its feet. The others are also hurt but don’t stop.
”Guys, thank you. But we’re reaching our limit.”
Iska, still hanging, tells us to keep attacking. She means the energy for the void is almost gone, and the exit is shrinking. Only one person can barely escape now. She’ll stay behind to hold them off.
Is this the end…?
Iska is too big to fit through the exit now.
Iska gestures for us to leave as we keep attacking the fake human’s feet.
”Escape. I’ll stay here with this child. Kent won’t forget me. Ms. Milly, please take care of Kent for me.”
’What are you saying! You’re staying here!!!!!’
The fake human tightens its grip on Iska’s throat. The void behind it is getting closer.
Time is running out. I have to decide what to do.
Should I leave Iska… or is there another way? I wish I had more power…
I keep thinking about how my weakness has caused so many problems.
’Do you want power?’
Someone whispers to me as I hesitate. The voice is familiar, one that makes me angry when I remember it.
It’s Sazukrain, the Supreme God of the Celestial Kingdom. The crazy goddess is talking directly to me. She said she couldn’t interfere after defeating Orphée Bleu, but she must have come to save me. That means she still has power here.
’I don’t like clever kids.’
”I heard from the fake human that this is the world of the creatures you discarded. Are you trying to blame me?”
’What a annoying child. You’re right, this world was abandoned and used to discard bio-weapons. But it also exists because of my father’s generation. I didn’t create it.’
Sazukrain’s father, the Supreme God, was killed by Orphée Bleu, but she’s still a suspicious goddess.
”But you’re here because you’re in danger too, right? Normally, I wouldn’t ask, but I have no choice. If you can perform a god’s miracle, I’ll even let you stand next to my statue.”
’Consider it done. I don’t want to be destroyed by that fake human either. Since we both want the same thing, I’ll help.’

Suddenly, the log blinks, and one of the Titles I got after defeating Orphée Bleu disappears. My magic power bar starts to grow and turn purple.
’Since you resigned as the continent’s administrator, most of your magic power should return to maintain the world.’
”Huh? Wait! What do you mean by administrator!? Hey!”
’Don’t worry about the details. I’m letting you use the Divine Magic of the Divine Race as much as you want. It was meant for Orphée, so there’s a lot of spare power. I was using it to fix another world. Now, I’m giving some back.’
As Sazukrain speaks, my magic power bar turns darker, eventually becoming purple.
’With this, you won’t run out of magic even if you use Divine Magic repeatedly. If you combine your original magic with that of the Worshipers, you have the same power as the top users in the Celestial Kingdom.’
Sazukrain’s shocking confession made me clench my fist. If I had this power, I might have been able to get through this without unnecessary deaths, and I thought I could kill Sazukrain instead of the fake human.
’Don’t have dangerous thoughts. Don’t forget that your power can be changed by a single thought from me, the Supreme God.’
Sazukrain, who understood my thoughts, changed her playful voice to that of a cold-hearted ruler and warned me against making any moves.
