Chapter 75 Sanpei-sensei’s Chest
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
The next day, Haruto arrived at the clubroom as planned. Inside, Sanpei-sensei was already changed, wearing the same black swimwear as the day before.
”Shall we start, Sensei?”
”Yes, I’m relying on you, Ichijou-kun.”
She answered calmly, but Haruto noticed a hint of nervousness on her face.
(Of course, she’s about to show her skin.)
”First, I need to check the area, so could you remove your swimwear?”
”Eh? O-okay.”
She turned her back to Haruto, removed her swimwear, and faced him with her hands covering herself. After a moment, she slowly lowered her arms.
”Hmm? It’s not as uneven as I thought.”
”My past partner said it was too dark.”
A common concern. Haruto’s ability can’t harm living tissue, so it’s not like treating an injury. In theory, he could improve it by working gently over time, but it’s not a quick fix.
Another limit is emotional well-being—he can’t address that yet. He’s only handled small mood issues, and Sanpei-sensei’s case is new to him.
”That must’ve been hurtful.”
”C-can you really even it out?”
”Yes, for sure! I can help improve it.”
She looked relieved and happy, but his next words made her worried again.
”I can help, but—”
”—?”
”It’ll take time.”
It’s like gently cleaning a fabric with a stain. Some improvement comes quickly, but fully restoring it takes patience. A quick fix might work, but a careful approach is better.
”How long will it take?”
”Four sessions, once a week, so one month.”
”Why not do that every day for four days?”
(Huh? Sanpei-sensei, are you planning to feel confident by the meeting day?)
Haruto thought there was still time before the meeting, but it seems she’s in a bit of a hurry.
”Doing it daily might cause discomfort,”
”So how about every other day?”
It looks like she really wants to feel ready for the meeting. Since daily sessions seem too much, he suggests a compromise.
”If you’re okay with that, let’s do it!”
”Sorry for asking you to do this.”
”No, it’s important to feel confident for your meeting!”
For Haruto, once a week is fine, so every other day is manageable. But he’s curious why she’s so anxious about it.
”Is there a special reason you want to do it quickly?”
”Yeah, just a little.”
He asked, but since she seemed unwilling to say more, he decided not to push further and started the massage.
”Now, please lie on your back.”
”Is this okay?”
”Yes, I’ll begin now.”
Sanpei-sensei’s skin is naturally beautiful. The tone is even, with medium-sized areas and a warm, brown hue. Most people would find it lovely.
(Maybe it’s just a difference in how people see colors.)
People perceive colors differently. This varies between individuals. It’s called color perception variation. Some have trouble distinguishing colors or see them differently, which is called color vision variation.
But this variation doesn’t change brown to another color—it’s still brown. So, while people see colors differently, it’s uncertain if that’s the issue here.
(Most importantly, her skin is very nice. Focus, focus!)
Using oiled hands, Haruto gently massaged the area in circles and occasionally applied soft pressure.
…huh…huh…
With each gentle touch, Sanpei-sensei made small sounds, trying to hide them.
”I wonder if this will help even the tone?”
”Yes, it’s definitely working!”
Massaging the area doesn’t directly even the tone. In fact, it might temporarily darken it. The reasons for tone changes are complex and not fully understood.
Natural factors:
- Hormonal changes after puberty
- Friction from clothing
- Pregnancy-related melanin changes
- Breastfeeding stimulation
Lifestyle factors:
- Stress, lack of sleep, little exercise, diet, smoking, and drinking
”Ah, let’s take a photo of today’s condition.”
”That’s a little…”
”It’ll be better to compare later.”
”That’s true, though.”
”If you’re worried, I’ll delete the photo after the final comparison.”
”Okay, I trust you!”
”Yes, I promise.”
(But I’ll keep a copy on my computer, just in case.)
This is how the first session ended.
