Chapter 133 The Meaning Of Each Tear

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

Haruto’s behavior had changed, as if he had become a different person.

But this was not a case of having more than one personality.

Haruto hated the memories of his past life. He hated his power to heal.

Because of that, he had pushed those things deep down inside his heart.

(To hate means to feel very strong dislike or disgust.)

One day, when Harue went out shopping and was not in the apartment,

a small feeling began to grow inside Haruto. It was jealousy.

 At first, it was tiny.

But when Harue talked to Shouma on the phone, that little feeling quickly grew.

Haruto had feelings for Harue as a woman.

Those feelings did not come from his current self, but from his past life.

In short, the Haruto from his past life was in love with Harue.

So the jealousy was not something new.

It came from the memories he had hidden deep in his heart.

Because of that, those memories started to come back.

After he and Harue spent the night together,

 Haruto’s memories returned completely.

Those memories started to heal him again.

It was like the time when he was a child and got chickenpox.

He lost consciousness, but healed himself back then.

Of course, when someone has a mental illness,

 bad memories can return anytime.

But this time, things were not the same.

Now, he had two people he could talk to about everything.

 ”…Mom.”

Drip, drip.

Tears fell from Haruto’s eyes and dropped onto the floor.

Before Harue moved into the apartment,

his heart had been in a dark place.

But since she came, he had started to heal little by little.

Because of that, he still remembered what happened between them.

 ”Haru-kun, what’s wrong?”

 ”Does your body hurt somewhere?”

 ”No… It doesn’t hurt anywhere.”

 ”I see. Well—Haru-kun?!”

 ”…I’m sorry, Mom… I’m really sorry…”

 ”Haru-kun! Oh, thank God! Haru-kun!”

The two of them hugged each other and cried.

 Their tears were different.

 Haruto’s tears came from sorrow.

 Harue’s tears came from joy.

But both of them cried because they cared about each other deeply.

 ”Haru-kun, are you feeling okay?”

”Yeah… My head still feels messy, but I’m okay.”

”I’m so glad! Really, so glad!”

”Thank you, Mom… Um… should we take a bath first?”

 ”…Yes. Let’s do that.”

They both remembered the mess on their bodies from earlier.

So they decided to take a bath first.

While they were getting ready for the bath, and while they were in the bath,

they talked about the time when Harue first moved into the apartment.

”Haah… I did something bad to Akane.”

”You should talk to her properly again, okay?”

 ”Yeah… I wonder if she’ll forgive me.”

”I don’t know! You’re the one who said you wanted to break up.”

 ”Yeah… you’re right.”

”We don’t know what will happen next.

 But she’s probably worried.

So, when you feel ready, call her.”

 ”…Yeah. I understand.”

After they finished bathing, Haruto and Harue stood in front of each other again.

 ”So?” she asked.

”Can you tell me what happened?”
