Chapter 170 Misuse Of Surveillance Cameras

Rin had come home yesterday on the verge of tears, mortified by the number of embarrassing situations she’d been caught in. And yet, despite her flustered feelings, one thing was certain—her condition was steadily improving. She couldn’t deny that the treatment was working.
”Hello, Ayase-senpai,” Haruto greeted her with a cheerful tone the next day.
”Hello, Haruto-kun. Thank you again for today.”
”Of course! Leave everything to me. By the way… which approach would you prefer today?”
”Which… approach?” Rin repeated, blinking.
”Well,” Haruto continued, keeping his tone light, “would you like to handle the massage yourself, or would you rather I do it?”
He was referring, of course, to the areas they’d targeted yesterday—places that, under normal circumstances, would be far too embarrassing to even mention aloud.
Rin hesitated for a moment, but then gave a small nod. “I think… I’ll have you do it today.” (It wasn’t as embarrassing as I expected… yesterday helped me prepare.)
”Got it! I’ll take care of it today.” (Yes! Just like I hoped!)
”You never really know until you try both, right?” Rin added.
”Exactly!” Haruto replied with a grin.
It made sense to Haruto to let patients who were already familiar with the treatment choose how they wanted to proceed. Whether he performed the massage or simply observed didn’t matter much to him. After all, just seeing the positive effects firsthand—like he had with Rin yesterday—was satisfying enough.
Still, he’d anticipated that some patients would feel more at ease having someone else handle the procedure, especially when it came to more personal areas. And once someone allowed him to do it once, chances were they’d continue asking for his assistance going forward.
”Alright,” he said, switching to his professional tone, “just like yesterday, please change clothes and take a seat on the treatment table when you’re ready.”
”Okay. Got it.”
After giving her instructions, Haruto stepped out of the soundproof treatment room and made his way toward the manager’s office. There was one piece of equipment he still hadn’t tested—an installed surveillance camera.
It wasn’t exactly hidden, though its placement could easily be misunderstood. Still, calling it a misuse might not be entirely wrong either.
”It’d be best if she moved just a little more to the right…” Haruto murmured, watching the monitor.
The camera feed showed Rin sitting on the treatment table in her changed clothes. Zooming in with the computer, he confirmed what he’d suspected—she was slightly off-center. Just a little adjustment would place her perfectly in frame.
To be clear, Haruto had no particular interest in recording secret footage. He wasn’t that kind of person. In fact, a previous video he’d made during a session with Akane’s mother, Yui, had already been deleted once their relationship turned serious. That footage had served its purpose and was no longer necessary.
So why install a surveillance camera?
Eventually, Haruto would need to consider how to discreetly shield the more sensitive parts of his clients’ bodies from prying eyes, especially if more general customers began to visit the clinic. However… if someone especially cute or beautiful happened to show up, well, it was only natural to want a better view—at least professionally speaking.
The camera was meant for such scenarios. To prepare for that day, he needed to understand the best camera angles now.
(Someday… a real celebrity might visit. No—I’ll turn this place into a clinic where they will.)
With that dream in mind, Haruto returned to the treatment room, where Rin was waiting.
”Sorry for the wait!”
”I wasn’t waiting long,” she replied calmly. “So it’s fine.”
”Alright, let’s begin. Could you shift a little more to the right?”
”Here? Is this better?”
”Perfect. Just right.”
And so, Rin’s second treatment session began.
This time, Haruto would perform the massage himself.
(I can’t wait to see the results up close… She really is developing fast.)
