Volume 2 Chapter 8 Shion And Aria Don’t Quite Understand Men’s Hearts ★
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
Shion and Aria don’t quite grasp the intricacies of the male heart. ★
As usual, I was in the middle of a passionate night with Ginga-kun when Aria called me at the break of dawn.
”Shion, you finally did it!” she exclaimed.
”Yeah… You can tell just by looking. Anyway, I don’t want Ginga-kun to see you in this pheromone-drenched state, so why don’t you go over there? Wait a moment, Ginga-kun♡” I said.
Her expression was lewd, her hair a bit disheveled, and faint marks on her wrists showed she’d been bound──it was obvious what had just happened. After giving Ginga-kun a kiss on the cheek, I left the room.
”By the way, wasn’t Kito-kun tied to a chair n*ked? Aren’t you going to free him?” I asked.
”It’s fine to leave him be. After all, that’s his punishment. Ginga-kun was ogling Rira’s chest, you see? That’s disloyalty towards me,” she replied.
”Haa… If only I had held onto Takumi-kun’s penis from the start… like you told me to,” Aria sighed.
”How was it? Did he properly deflower you?” I inquired.
”Yes. Following your bizarre advice, I had many failures along the way, but in the end, I managed to keep my virginity and made him ejaculate eleven times. I think I’ve now become Takumi-kun’s main wife,” she said proudly.
”That’s right, isn’t it? Men are simple creatures. You keep pushing and pushing, then overpower them with momentum, and once you get them inside you, the rest is history,” I explained.
”Yes. With this, I’ve been able to get back at those thieving cats who tried to steal the virginity I was saving for him behind my back,” Aria said with a satisfied smirk. Seeing her like this made me feel that giving her my honest advice was worth it.
”As for Rinko, it’s fine… but there’s also Ouji,” I mentioned.
”I won’t trouble Shion with that. It’s a personal matter, so I’ll settle it myself,” Aria answered firmly.
”Good luck. I’m on your side, you know? We’ll definitely have a double date in another world with Ginga-kun someday,” I said.
Our alliance, forged to counter Hikari’s camp, further strengthened our bond.

”Huh? I don’t see anything odd about the transaction,” Rira-chan said.
”Yeah, I didn’t feel anything strange about it either,” Kurumi-chan added.
”Me neither. It felt completely normal to me,” I agreed.
After the intense master-servant sex with Aria, I, as ‘I’m’, had come to Shiori-chan’s place as scheduled to test the ‘Discount’ skill’s effects.
With Rira-chan and Kurumi-chan as assistants, we’d gone to the labyrinth today, from the New 1st Division to the 4th, so now we were here to do some shopping. Using ‘Obstruction of Perception’ (T/N: a skill that blocks others’ awareness) and then ‘99% Discount’, we’d gotten… this.
”So, since we bought this with a 99% discount, we only paid a copper coin… What do you think about that?” I asked.
”Well, that’s to be expected, right? It’s a fair deal,” Rira-chan said.
”But this means the shop’s taking a huge loss, right? Doesn’t that bother you?” Kurumi-chan wondered.
”Hmm, while the ledger would show a big loss, it’s a mutual agreement, so I think it’s fine, isn’t it?” Shiori-chan replied.
”Yeah, Shiori-chan agreed to the discount, so…” I added.
”Yes, my foster parents would probably think it’s a legitimate transaction too,” Shiori-chan smiled.
The three of us weren’t just humoring each other. We all knew we bought this with a 99% discount, yet none of us questioned it. Moreover, our surroundings—including the ledger records—showed no signs of disbelief, and this extraordinary ‘discount shopping’ was widely accepted.
It wasn’t coercion; it was a transaction both parties were satisfied with. It was unassuming, but incredibly dangerous. Using this skill, one could obtain goods for next to nothing anytime, anywhere, and the other party would accept it as the norm. There was no need to return the favors either, as they weren’t gifts.
”What if, Shiori-chan, we bought all the shop’s stock at a discounted price and caused ‘Merchant Guild Kinvale’ to go bankrupt? How would you feel about that?” I asked.
”Well… I suppose it’s a legitimate outcome of fair trade, so there’s nothing one can do about it, is there?” Shiori-chan replied thoughtfully.
Hearing her response, which essentially agreed with such a scenario, sent a chill down my spine. The ‘Obstruction of Perception’ skill was far too powerful. If one wanted to exploit it, the possibilities were endless.
”All right then, now that we know we can shop at a discount, let’s test reselling next, shall we?” I suggested.
”No, let’s not. I’m worried about penalties from the system if we try reselling and it turns out to be canceled without any warning,” Shiori-chan said cautiously.
The penalty for canceling a transaction is hidden behind a warning like “If you cancel, ******* will be fully revoked. Do you still want to proceed?” and no one knows exactly what happens.
I understood how dangerous this skill is, but if this side effect is the cancellation of past ‘Obstruction of Perception’, I’d likely suffer a fate worse than death at the hands of the victims forced to sell at a discount. Not just me—my classmates might get caught in the crossfire too.
For now, I had Shiori-chan record the transaction in the ledger and asked Kahoru-chan, who was on shop duty, to check it. Kahoru-chan also accepted the discounted result without any suspicion.
I asked Rira-chan and Kurumi-chan to leave the room, explained the ‘Obstruction of Perception’ skill only to Shiori-chan, and consulted with her about how to use it. The more I explained its dangers, the more she accepted it calmly.
”Initially, I thought about making a profit through reselling, but that seems difficult,” Shiori-chan concluded.
”That’s right. It seems like we can only consume what we buy ourselves, so if we want to make profits, the labyrinth is probably the only place,” I said.
At least, Shiori-chan also concluded that reselling would likely be detected as a transaction cancellation by the system. Even if ownership transfers, if it leads to immediate resale, it might be flagged. The many restrictions were also proof of how powerful the skill was.
”So then, what’s the best way?” I asked.
”I have a suggestion about that,” Shiori-chan said.
The talented prodigy who had once ranked high in national mock exams had clearly thought ahead. I listened eagerly as my reliable partner shared her proposal.
”Takumi-kun, why don’t we form a clan?” she proposed.
This would become the historic first step toward the formation of the clan ‘Takumi-kun and the Merry Companions,’ which would later become famous throughout the world.
