Haruka-chan looked incredulous as Rira-chan and Kurumi-chan explained the situation to her. Their reaction matched the sentiments of everyone from the newly returned 1st Division to the 4th Division. Indeed, establishing a clan wasn’t even on anyone’s agenda this morning.
”Well, I’m surprised too. It’s all happened so suddenly,” I admitted.
”Still, being the owner of 112 slaves… Depending on the strength of the forces, wouldn’t that make you a top clan in McGaref overnight?” Rira-chan said, eyes wide.

As expected of me, even though I had become their owner, I didn’t intend to engage in any lawless behavior. Among the women, some had already sent me glances filled with concern, hoping to secure a spot as my mistress, while others approached enthusiastically, saying, “I want to be freed from my debt bondage, so I’m volunteering to be your sexual attendant.”

However, I advised that the slaves worth 5 gold coins not be sent out as adventurers, but rather made to work at the base or merchant guild, or assigned risk-free tasks.
”By the way, Takumi-sama. When will you be moving to the mansion?”

”Of course, the mansion you purchased. The servants are looking forward to serving their new master.”
Ah… that’s true. It felt strange to let the slaves live in a place without us.

”Of course, I will work as a maid. If it’s not too much trouble, may I take on the role of ‘head maid’?”
Everyone happily discussed our new life. I was glad; this place wasn’t bad, but it was quite old, after all. Being able to sleep on a top-quality bed… though it was somewhat off-putting to think about who might have used it before, I was looking forward to it too.
”Well then, tomorrow I’ll consult with Kanare-san. I’ve been such a burden regarding tonight’s base too, so I need to splurge on a souvenir. Ranka-san, could you arrange that for me?”
”That would be Captain Kanare, wouldn’t it? Understood, I’ll take care of it.”
Thus, I was about to face yet another new chapter in life. Ah, by the way, it was terrifyingly effective in the mid-level, but apparently mundane as a drop. Still, it was quite a decent income… It seemed Hikari-chan’s ‘high-caliber charm’ skill didn’t activate.
Tomorrow, I would head over to Kanare-san’s for yet another new development, but that’s a story for tomorrow.
And I greeted the gathered slaves in the cafeteria, receiving applause as the clan leader. I had ordered from the nearby diner too, but it wasn’t enough, so while Yawashi-kun radiated tension and rapidly swung two pots with both hands with the help of the slaves who had household skills, I decided to just pretend I didn’t see that…
On the last night spent at the base, the ones who visited my room were Chinatsu-chan and Haruka-chan, both wearing slave collars.
