I’m being made to sit in seiza. Huh? Why the hell am I the one sitting seiza? I’m the master here, aren’t I?
T/N: Seiza is a traditional Japanese formal sitting posture, with the legs folded underneath the body.
The charge in the trial that’s about to begin is: “Takumi-kun brought a girl in without permission.”
The defendant: me.
Defense counsel: nonexistent.
Ginga-kun tried to step in and mediate, but the moment Aria-chan gave a look, Shion-chan grabbed me by the collar and hauled me off.
For the record, the prosecutor and judge are Aria-chan and Rira-chan, respectively. The other girls brushed it off with a “Well, it can’t be helped,” but these two? Absolutely not.
”Hey, Takumi-kun,” Aria-chan began, arms folded in judgmental authority. “You went to drop off the documents Chinatsu-chan forgot at the government office, right? You were done quick, weren’t you? I get it—sometimes a guy needs to stretch his wings. But bringing a girl back here? That’s just unforgivable, isn’t it?”
”That’s right,” Rira-chan added, calmly sipping tea. “A brothel’s one thing, but a civilian? That’s cheating.”
”Ah, but Rusty-san’s a prostitute, so I don’t think she counts as a civilian…”
”Shut up,” Rira-chan snapped.
I was immediately silenced.
…Wait, Rira-chan? You were supposed to be the gentle, laid-back one! But now I’m sure—when she gets married, she’s totally going to be the one wearing the pants.
”So,” Rira-chan continued, fingers laced under her chin. “How many times did you do it? Please report clearly by type and area.”
”Yes,” I replied, sitting upright with all the dignity I could muster. “Five v**inal, three a**l, one breast, one deep throat, and one h**djob with face ej**ulation. That’s eleven total.”
Aria-chan’s brow twitched. “To think I got outdone in a**l… Damn, I messed up…”
”I had the solo lead until now too…” Rira-chan sighed. “I can’t forgive that elf girl. Still, I’ve got the biggest bust, so obviously, I’m the main wife.”
Striking a smug pose, Aria-chan lifted her M-cup breasts with both hands and smirked.
”So? What should we do with the cheating Takumi-kun? Oh, by the way, you didn’t fill in the clan name field, right? That was Chinatsu-chan. She submitted it as ‘Takumi-kun and the Merry Companions.’“
”Yeah, I thought that was peak naming sense from Chinatsu,” Rira-chan said, trying and failing to hold back a laugh.
Wait. Waitwaitwait—
That part was super important! I was going to submit a request to register it with a cooler name!
”Um, about that name—” I began.
”Nah, it’s a good name,” Aria-chan cut me off. “No way Takumi-kun has the right to complain, right?”
”Yup. It’s the best. I would’ve gone with ‘Takkun,’ personally, but this’ll do. No takebacks,” Rira-chan chimed in, grinning like a cat.
I’m the clan master… and yet…
As I stared in stunned silence, Rira-chan flashed me a sweet smile.
”So, you know,” she said brightly, “I think it’s about time we pass judgment on the cheating Takumi-kun?”
”Yeah,” Aria-chan nodded. “That sounds good. Oh, and by the way—Rusty, the elf girl from the eleven times—she’s got a room on the same floor now. She agreed to join in on ej**ulation management, so I’m reporting that too.”
”She’s so beautiful up close, huh? Ugh, such eye-candy just thinking about seeing that face every day♡”
…Wait, are they mad? They look mad, but they don’t feel mad.
I was sharp enough to sense the change in air pressure. I had to fix Rira-chan’s mood. Had to calm things down, fast.
”Um, Rira-chan—”
”Hmm? What is it, Takumi-kun?” she answered, eyes narrowing. “Oh, right. The verdict.”
She wasn’t letting me wriggle out of this. Rira-chan stood, smiling beatifically, and pronounced judgment.
”For Takumi-kun, I hereby sentence you to ‘make all of us your slaves.’ Oh, and that includes Ms. Rusty too, okay?”
Her voice rang like a bell through the silent room.
Rira-chan’s explanation made a strange sort of sense. There were exactly three top-secret matters that had to be kept within our clan.
First: I have the 99% Discount skill.
Second: Only Shiori-chan knows that I also have the Perception Obstruction skill.
Third: Haruka-chan’s true identity is the infamous Witch of Destruction.
Oh, and fourth: Hikari-chan has a truly wicked skill called Ageman Extreme.
Also, the twelfth-ranked adventurer “Chinatsu Asakura” is, in fact, our Chinatsu Asakura. McGaref’s already put some info lockdown measures in place, and the adventurers near our base know to keep their mouths shut. It’s only a matter of time before it leaks, but we’re trying to delay that day as much as possible.
T/N: Ageman refers to a woman whose presence or support supposedly improves a man’s fortune or success, often in love or career. The term “Ageman Extreme” is a fictional exaggeration of this idea.
”So the only people who know the top secrets right now are: us, Ranka-san, Ms. Rusty, Shiori-chan, Weed-san, and Kanare-san, right?” Rira-chan recited coolly. “Weed-san and Kanare-san are reliable, and Shiori-chan barely interacts with the outside world. But Chinatsu-chan and Haruka-chan? Bit sketchy. So, to lock it all down, I think we should all be turned into slaves and sealed with obedience magic.”
”I did protest,” Aria-chan chimed in, “saying I’m a maid, not a slave. But since you’re giving me a ring, I agreed. It’s a must-have item for the main wife, after all.”
Wait, what ring?
As if reading my mind, Rira-chan pulled out a simple, undecorated ring from her pocket.
”This one here,” she said, lifting it up between thumb and forefinger, “was prepared by Ranka-san. It’s a high-grade slave ring that can hold obedience magic. So after turning us all into your slaves, I want you to put it on us, okay, Takumi-kun?♡”
Hearing that, I suddenly remembered something.
Ginga-kun had blushed when he told me, “Hey, Takumi-kun. I decided to marry Shion-chan. She proposed while we were… y’know, and the mood was kinda off, but yeah.”
…Ginga-kun.
If I end up messing around with that elf again, I think I’m the one who’s gonna get the ring put on me…
