Volume 3 Chapter 3 Did You Not Notice My feelings?★
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
The night deepened, and Rira arrived at my door, her presence a soft current in the quiet hallway.
”Thanks, Takumi-kun,” she murmured, her voice a whisper of silk against the stillness. “For letting me be part of this—not just Hikari-chan, but Chinatsu-chan and me too.”
I shifted uncomfortably, the weight of her gratitude pressing against my chest. “No, um… is it really okay? I mean, if you’re doing this because you feel like you have to—”
Her laughter interrupted me, a low, melodic ripple that seemed to unwind the tension in the air. “Hehe… Takumi-kun, you really are a bit slow, aren’t you? No wonder the girls come to me for advice.” She tilted her head, her wavy hair catching the dim light like a halo. “I want to do this. I like you, Takumi-kun. That’s why I suggested it.”
Heat bloomed in my cheeks, a sudden, uncontrollable flush. It had been too long since someone had spoken those words to me—since Haruka-chan, to be precise. And Rira? She’d never been on my radar that way. It felt like a surprise, a gentle ambush.
”Oh dear,” she teased, her eyes sparkling with amusement. “You really didn’t notice at all, did you?”
”Ah… no. Um. I’m sorry.” My voice cracked, betraying my embarrassment.
”I forgive you,” she said, her tone softening. “But in return, you have to let me see you—really see you. Three times, okay?”
Before I could respond, she closed the distance between us, her lips brushing mine in a kiss that was both tentative and sure. Her breath was warm, her mouth a delicate invitation. I hesitated for only a moment before surrendering, my tongue meeting hers in a slow, exploratory dance. She took my hand, guiding it to her chest, and I felt the warmth of her through the fabric of her shirt—soft, yielding, like sinking into a cloud.
”Mmm…” she hummed against my lips, pulling back just enough to meet my gaze. “Kissing is… amazing. I’m glad I got to experience it before… well, you know. What do you think, Takumi-kun? Do you like them? They’re a bit much, aren’t they?”
”They’re… incredible,” I managed, my voice hoarse.
She smiled, a secret gleaming in her eyes. “Let me tell you something—just between us. They’re J-cups. Can you believe it? Like those actresses in… well, you know.”
My fingers tightened reflexively, the realization sinking in. J-cups. I’d known they were large, but this… this was something else. “They’re… real,” I murmured, more to myself than to her.
”Hehe, your touch is so… deliberate,” she said, her voice dropping to a husky whisper. “How about I show you more? Let me… serve you, properly.”
Her words hung in the air, a promise heavy with possibility. I nodded, my throat too dry to speak. She stepped back, her movements graceful as she began to undress. Her skin was pale, luminous in the dim light, and as her clothes fell away, I felt my breath catch. She leaned forward slightly, her hips swaying with a natural rhythm, and for a moment, I was lost in the curve of her, the softness of her, the sheer presence of her.
”Sorry about this,” she said, her voice steady but tinged with something I couldn’t quite place. “In this world… virgins are valuable. We keep ours for emergencies. It’s… a rule.”
I remembered Chinatsu’s words from the day before, the weight of them settling in my chest. “Selling my virginity to help everyone…” This was their reality, a world where survival was measured in sacrifices.
”Thanks for everything, Takumi-kun,” Rira said, her voice thick with emotion. She sat before me, her breasts cradling me in a way that was both tender and overwhelming. “It’s hard to talk about this… with anyone in the 5th Division. We get discouraged too. But Haruka and Aria… they’re different. Especially Aria. But I’m not supposed to say more.”
I wanted to ask, to press for details, but something in her tone stopped me. Instead, I focused on the sensation of her, the warmth of her skin, the way her breath quickened as she moved.
”This is… strange,” she admitted, her voice a soft murmur. “Like my body is a tool, but… it’s nice. Feeling your heat, your… hardness. It makes me…” She paused, her lips parting slightly as she let saliva drip, the slickness enhancing the intimacy of the moment.
The sound of her breath, the wetness of her mouth—it was a symphony of sensation, a tactile poem. I felt her tighten around me, her movements deliberate, her focus absolute.
”It feels good, Rira-chan,” I managed, my voice rough.
”I’m so happy,” she whispered, her eyes shining. “Even if Mr. Obtuse here didn’t notice my feelings, his… honesty does. Don’t hold back, okay? Let go.”
Her words were a release, a permission I hadn’t realized I needed. As she continued, her movements becoming more urgent, I felt the tension coil tighter, tighter, until—
The release was a rush, a surge of heat and light that seemed to consume us both. Rira caught it on her skin, her fingers tracing patterns in the aftermath, before bringing them to her lips with a soft smile.
”Thank you,” she said, her voice steady but her eyes glistening. “For letting us… for giving us a reason. If we died, there’d be no one to… to do this for you.”
Her words left me speechless, the weight of them settling in my chest. I thought of the labyrinth, of the constant threat of death, and felt a guilt I couldn’t name. Did I deserve this? This devotion, this sacrifice?
Before I could respond, the door creaked open, and Chinatsu slipped inside, her presence a quiet intrusion.
”Hehe… sorry. I came,” she said, her voice soft but laced with determination.
Rira sighed, a fond exasperation in her tone. “Seriously, you have to stick to the order. But you get it, right? Until your feelings settle, you have to be with us.”
I remembered then—Chinatsu finding Sakasaki-san, the nights she’d wandered alone. The weight of her grief, her loneliness, was something I’d seen but never fully understood.
”Come here, Chinatsu-chan,” Rira said, her voice gentle.
”Thanks,” Chinatsu murmured, stepping closer. “As the intruder, I’m fine being… used. Make sure to let me serve you, okay?”
And in that moment, we were tangled together—not just in bodies, but in emotions, in wounds, in the fragile hope that we could fill each other’s emptiness. Ouji-chan, steady and quiet, began to join us too, and until the turning point with Chisame, our nights were a tapestry of connection, of healing, of silent understanding.
No sex. Just… everything else.
