I’ve decided to fall in love with Scaya-san. Captivating her as my companion was thrilling, but I’d rather she love me. A master and servant bound by affection—that’s the proper dynamic.
I seized Scaya-san’s hand, our connection warm and genuine. Her touch feels the same as any other, I thought, smiling as I held her hand.
”Pfhah… Master, love for a servant? How amusing…” Scaya-san chuckled.
”No, I’m serious. I’ve decided to love you as my servant. So I want you to love me too,” I said.
”A servant is a servant. We offer our skills to anyone in need, our lives dedicated to service, the most noble of pursuits,” Scaya-san said.
”Just so you know, Haruka-chan and Ranka-san are my companions too. But they care for me. I know it’s hard to hear that from a stranger, but start by calling me ‘Takumi-sama,’” I suggested.
Scaya-san’s face flushed, her gaze dropping. Cute, I thought. The “Inferno Witch,” a renowned warrior respected on the battlefield, yet she shows such humble reactions.
”Takumi-sama, I…” Scaya-san began.
”Heh, you’re adorable, Scaya. I care for you,” I said, pulling her into a warm embrace.
”Takumi-sama, I…” Scaya-san whispered, looking up at me.
”Yeah, very,” I murmured, my hand gently resting on her shoulder. Her body relaxed as I offered her comfort, our bond growing stronger.
”Mmm… ahh… don’t… servants shouldn’t seek praise… ahh” Scaya-san hummed.
”It’s fine because I care for you. I like seeing you at ease. Come on, since your master wants it, be a kinder, warmer person,” I encouraged.
”Yes, Takumi-sama… ahh… mmm” Scaya-san sighed as I offered her words of support. Her hand found mine, holding it tightly.
”Takumi-sama, I want to be closer to you again. Is it true you’ll give me a companion’s joy, not a stranger’s distance?” Scaya-san asked.
”Of course, Scaya. But first, let me hear your thoughts so I can understand them,” I said.
”Honestly, I’m not sure yet. But I’ll keep trying to truly care for you. I appreciate you, Takumi-sama,” Scaya-san confessed.
I stood close to her, our connection deepening. “Ugh…” Scaya-san exhaled.
”You okay, Scaya?” I asked, my tone gentle.
”Don’t worry about a servant’s struggles. Your words alone make me happy. Thank you. I’m glad I met such a kind master. Scaya, the Inferno Witch, swears to be your ally and protector,” she said, her eyes shining.
I smiled, our bond strengthening. “I care for you, Scaya.”
”Yes, I care for you,” she whispered.
”Say it more.”
”Scaya Su Velesese swears to appreciate Takumi-sama. As a servant, as a warrior, I’ll repay your kindness,” she vowed.
I held her hand, our connection growing. “Nggh… I appreciate you” Scaya-san expressed.
”I appreciate you too. I’m grateful for you,” I said.
”Yes… I’m thankful for your presence…” Scaya-san hummed, her body relaxing as our bond deepened.
Thud, thump, thud… squelch, thump, thump…
And once more, I held Scaya close, our bond deepening. The feeling of connection was truly special. I took a moment to catch my breath, my hand brushing against her pendant.
”This will have to do for now. If you excel in the dungeon or on the battlefield, I’ll give you a ring like Haruka’s,” I promised.
”No, this is more than enough. Being yours is my greatest pride,” Scaya said, her eyes shining with devotion.
And so, we shared a moment of deep affection, only to realize we’d kept everyone waiting far too long. We ended up profusely apologizing for the delay, our faces flushed with embarrassment.
