Chapter 26 Dark Knight Takuma Sada

Takuma Sada always thought his life couldn’t get any worse. Every day, his classmates singled him out, sneering and shoving until the bruises blended into routine.
But then it happened—something ripped straight from the pages of a manga or anime.
“An otherworld summoning…?” he muttered, the words tasting strange in his mouth.
The white light had swallowed him whole, dragging him from the stench of his school hallway into a sky painted with twin suns. For a moment, confusion wrapped around him like a cold mist. But then, it hit him—fortune had finally decided to smile.
After all, he wasn’t just anyone now. He was the Dark Knight, a warrior bestowed with divine blessings. The power throbbed inside his veins, a coiled predator ready to strike.
“I’m different from those worthless losers,” Takuma said under his breath, lips curling.
And yet, no one sought his aid. Pride kept them distant, their eyes flinching away from him. Takuma’s fingers flexed against the hilt of his blackened blade. If they begged me on their knees, he thought, I’d grant them mercy. But they’re just scum.
When no one extended an invitation, he made his own move, falling in step with Vice Class Rep Mineyama’s group. Their reaction was immediate—tightened jaws, narrowed eyes, a few stifled snickers.
Takuma’s gaze darkened. They’re weaker than me… I’ll kill them someday.
His eyes drifted lower. Mineyama’s chest swayed with each step, an unmissable curve beneath the leather straps of her armor. A slow grin spread across his face. Once I’ve honed my strength, she’ll be mine.
And not just her. Yuzuki Yuka’s shy glances hadn’t escaped his notice either. She belonged in his future, whether she realized it or not.
As for Miyake? Takuma’s smirk sharpened. He’ll resist, of course. But in the end, I’ll break him—and take what’s mine.
The ground beneath his boots crunched like dry bones as he took his first steps into the alien wilderness. Twin suns bled orange light across jagged mountains. In the distance, something roared—a low, bone-deep sound that rattled his ribs.
Takuma’s heart raced with a thrill he’d never known before. In this strange new world, power was the only law… and he intended to write it in blood.
