Chapter 33 Side – Takuma Sada

Takuma Sada wandered through the bustling streets, his eyes scanning the crowd. In recent days, he had spent his preparation money on women, finally shedding his virginity, but satisfaction still eluded him. Though his carnal desires were met by purchasing women willing to open their legs for money, he felt no sense of conquest—no true victory.
As he browsed the throng once more, memories of his journey before arriving in this town surged through his mind.

The power granted to Sada was overwhelming.
A thunderous explosion rippled across the Open Plains.
”Fuhahahaha! Pathetic! Weaklings all of you!” Sada laughed, his voice echoing with cruel delight.
Monsters swarmed, but Sada darted among them with his skill, Shadow Blink, his movements erratic and unstoppable. He fought alone, confident now that he was no longer an easy target to be bullied. An invigorating rush of invincibility surged within him—an intoxicating blend of exhilaration and satisfaction.
No one can look down on me anymore. Anyone who dares will be crushed by this power!
Seething with pent-up anger, he unleashed Shadow Slash—a dark, crescent-shaped blade of energy that flew toward a monster. The creature screamed as it shattered into fragments.
”As long as I’m here, who needs you losers? We don’t need to lose to the demon king’s army without me! Beg on your knees, and maybe I’ll think about helping! Ahahahaha!”
His classmates reacted with a mixture of indifference and contempt. Their dismissive gazes only fueled Sada’s rage. Suddenly, his anger boiled over.
”Don’t ignore me! You should respect me! Bow before the strongest! Damn it!”
Ayumu later described him bluntly: “If I had to sum him up in one word, it would be ‘painful guy.’”
Beneath the bluster, Sada was a man gripped by anxiety and frustration, desperate for approval. When his superiority went unrecognized, he felt crushed.
No one understood him. To Sada, their silence was mockery.
”Hey, that guy’s dangerous,” someone whispered.
”Best to stay away,” another warned.
Slowly, his classmates began to avoid the paranoid, volatile Sada.
* * *
”Damn it! They’re all mocking me!” Sada howled as he roamed the streets. Other otherworlders glanced at him with curiosity, then quickly lost interest.
(Damn! Damn! Damn! They’re all laughing at me! Well, fine… I’ll take it out on that girl from earlier.)
His eyes darkened as he began to stalk the girl he had singled out before.
