Rira-chan, dressed in a maid outfit, brings me tea, so I take a short break. Nyx (Merina) and Mori-Mori wanted to work too, but I insisted they rest for our early start tomorrow.
”What kind of work are you doing now?”
”I’m studying the political economy and geography of the southern Gonan Kingdom. We really didn’t know much beyond McGaref.”
I show her the report and map from the merchant guild. The detailed map is classified at the national secret level, so only council members like me can access it.
”Wow, the south looks like this? Is this a mountain?”
”Yes. Because of this, trade routes aren’t very strong. It seems close in a straight line, but it requires a significant detour.”
The mountains dividing the Gonan Kingdom and McGaref are called the Gobelspire Mountain Range. Thanks to them, war hasn’t broken out, but if McGaref and the Quvarian Empire fall out, trade through these routes will become dangerous.
This was discussed in today’s council. Since the Quvarian Empire and Gonan Kingdom are at war, we aim to maintain a friendly relationship based on the principle that the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
”But this doesn’t seem very wide. From the picture, it looks like a sheer cliff.”
”Yeah, it seems that way. That’s why we can’t transport large loads.”
Rira-chan furrows her brow, studying the map and illustrations.
”Hey, Takumi-kun. Do you think we could make a tunnel here? In Japan, they’d just build highways or shinkansen through, right?”
”Ah… I see. But isn’t that difficult to dig? This world doesn’t have gunpowder or anything.”
According to Shiori-chan, the chemistry of this world is very similar to Earth’s. Iron exists normally, but it’s not exactly the same. They tried synthesizing something like gunpowder but failed. It’s reassuring that Shiori-chan isn’t delving into dangerous areas.
”How about consulting Shiori-chan about this? And take Haruka along too.”
Rira-chan mutters this softly, but her words carry weight.
”Rira-chan, could it be that the ‘Divine Oracle’ skill just activated?”
At my question, Rira-chan looks startled.
”Huh? I wonder… I just spoke without thinking…”
”No, it felt different. If it succeeds, the return could be significant. I’ll consult about it as a long shot. Thank you, Rira-chan.”

Praised and in high spirits, Rira-chan stands from the break chair and approaches me. She sits on my lap, her ample chest pressing against my face.
”You know, Takumi-kun, I’ve been waiting for so long… I’m feeling a bit neglected. Maintaining your slaves is important work, don’t you think?”
Rira-chan takes my hand and guides it to her intimate area, already warm and inviting.

She kisses me, then kneels before me, beginning her service.

Rira-chan gazes at me, her lips nearing, her service beginning with deliberate sounds.
The sounds fill the air—soft, wet, and rhythmic.
