Chapter 157
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
After finishing my magic stone gathering in the dungeon, I headed to Hooters to deliver the portion I hadn’t absorbed as magic power.
On the way, I slipped into an empty back alley, conjured a handcart, and loaded the wooden crates full of stones. The evening had already grown dim, but the light was just enough that no one could see me pulling boxes and carts out of thin air. Perfect.
I made it to the destination without incident, completed the handoff behind the shop, and was just about to leave when someone called me back.
”Summoned?” I asked.
”Yes,” came the reply.
It was one of Ms. Wendy’s personal aides, sent to fetch me. As it turned out, whenever I arrived, she would be notified, and if she needed me, she’d call. I had no pressing business afterward, so I accepted and was ushered straight into Ms. Wendy’s room without delay.
”Welcome, Mr. Koji♪”
She motioned toward the sofa. The moment I sat down, Ms. Wendy settled beside me as if it were the most natural thing in the world. She slipped her arm around mine, pressing me between her chest and thighs.
”Uh… so today’s business is that?” I asked.
Her smile faltered into something more serious.
”If you’d like it to be that, I don’t mind,” she said, “but the main reason is Ms. Monoka’s orphanage.”
”Is there a problem? You’re not cutting off support, are you?”
”No, nothing like that. It’s about one of the items they were using.”
An item… that I had supplied? Ah. The doetera coat. My guess was spot-on. Ms. Wendy wanted permission to sell them at Hooters.
”One of my men said a staff member there greeted him while wearing one,” she explained.
”I see.”
So someone had met guests while wrapped in one. Well, people did that even in my old world. I’d designed it to look ordinary enough not to draw suspicion. She continued.
”I went myself to confirm, and it was surprisingly warm—so much that you could fall asleep in it. The children caught fewer colds this year thanks to those coats.”
”So you want to sell them here,” I said.
”Exactly. But I thought it would be improper to move ahead without asking.”
”Fine by me.”
”Thank you. Only…”
Though I gave permission, she hesitated, looking troubled again.
”Something wrong?” I asked.
”Yes. To make those clothes, there’s a question. Inside, they’re stuffed with some kind of animal hair? Without knowing what, I can’t price them properly. If it’s a rare material, we’d need substitutes.”
”Ah. Well, you could have opened one up and checked. I had spares.”
She shook her head. “There might have been some secret ingredient. We couldn’t risk mishandling it.”
”That’s fair. But I wouldn’t hand over anything truly secret.”
”Still, you gave one to Ms. Monoka. Considering your relationship with her…”
She pressed my arm tighter with her chest and thighs, her voice trailing off suggestively.
I didn’t deny it. She knew about us, after all.
”That’s true,” I admitted, “but there was always the risk someone might steal it. Even so, I thought it worth giving.”
”I understand… but given my position, I couldn’t avoid checking with you.”
She was one of the few who knew I could create objects with magic power. Since she’d pried that secret out of me, she was bound by it—and careful not to cross me.
Well, I had nothing to hide in this case. So I conjured the filling on its own.
”Here. This is what’s inside.”
Fwoof.
She caught the fluffy mass, eyes widening.
”Wait, is this… cotton!?”
”Yes,” I said.
”Cotton! In those coats? But this only grows in the far south—it’s incredibly expensive!”
”Oh… right.”
Cotton needed tropical climates. Around here it couldn’t be cultivated, so everything had to be imported. With slow transport in this world, of course it was costly. Meaning… I’d basically been donating luxury goods to the orphanage.
That might make people suspicious about my intentions toward the children, but I could always deflect it onto Monoka. Given our relationship, it wouldn’t be far from the truth.
In any case, Ms. Wendy realized that selling the coats to the general public was impossible. To break even, they’d have to be luxury items.
She sighed. “Well… they’d sell if we could use them. But since it’ll warm up soon, I’ll prepare prototypes for next year.”
”Go ahead,” I said.
I could mass-produce them cheaply myself, but the source might be traced. Until I secured an untouchable position—say, from the Gem Snake job’s rewards—I’d rather not risk it.
So the matter of the doetera coat was set aside.
”It’s getting late,” Ms. Wendy said. “I’d like to keep you here, but if I don’t head home soon, my family will start asking questions.”
”Another time, then,” I said.
We could have slipped away into her pocket dimension to indulge ourselves, but even there, time didn’t stop.
”Until next time… chu♡”
With that, Ms. Wendy pressed one last kiss to my lips, and I finally left Hooters behind.

When I returned to the apartment building and peeked into Iris’s room, both she and Arisa welcomed me.
”Welcome back,” Iris said.
”Welcome home♪” Arisa chimed.
”Yeah, I’m back.”
Grab.
”Then… shall we?” they said together, teasingly sweet.
”Eh?”
I’d only stopped by to check if anything was wrong, but since they knew I didn’t actually get tired from dungeon crawling, they wasted no time leading me straight to the bed.
Last night, I’d given way to Ms. Sakura, but only to keep her from eavesdropping too much. Under normal circumstances, Iris and Arisa weren’t about to let such a chance slip past them.
Well… it was true, I wasn’t tired. And being smothered by their enthusiasm was far from unpleasant.
So I stayed the night in Iris’s room, sandwiched between them until sleep finally claimed me.
* * *
By morning, the room was still chilly, yet the warmth of their bare skin against mine wrapped me in a lazy comfort. That was when I heard faint footsteps outside.
Tap, tap, tap… shuffle, stop.
The sound passed Iris’s room, heading toward my own.
Maybe someone was visiting me. The clock showed a little past seven—ordinary enough for a call. Still, anyone who knew my room was limited.
Since it wasn’t a building-wide announcement, it was worth checking. I dressed quickly, then slipped out of Iris’s room.
Knock, knock, knock…
Click.
”Ah.”
Sure enough, a figure stood at my door, hand raised mid-knock. She turned, eyes widening in surprise as she saw me emerge from another room.
It was Taia, magician of Silver Orchid’s active unit. She gave me a smile, though puzzlement lingered on her face as she stepped closer.
I shut the door behind me, not wanting to let more cold into the hall.
”G-good morning. Been a while,” she said.
”Yeah. Morning. It has been.”
I’d helped her during the Gem Snake affair, and before leaving town we’d gotten… involved. Now, calmer circumstances seemed to make her a little more self-conscious.
She fidgeted, arms pressed inward, which only pushed up the heavy swell beneath her cloak.
”…Ah. H-here,” she said, lifting her cloak and boldly thrusting her chest forward.
Still foggy from sleep, I instinctively reached out.
”Then…”
Squish, knead.
”Mm…♡”
Her breasts were about Ms. Monoka’s size, maybe firmer, and I squeezed them without restraint. Taia offered no resistance, only a faint shiver as she asked:
”Mm… hey, wasn’t your room two doors down?”
”Yeah. This is Iris’s place.”
”Oh, I see. So you’ve moved in here.”
”Right. Her sister’s here too—I’m looking after them.”
”Ahh, that’s what I heard at the office. But doesn’t that mean you can’t stay in the dungeon long?”
”I don’t have to hover constantly, but yeah… it’d bother me to be gone too long.”
She nodded, then gestured toward the room Silver Orchid had secured next door.
”That’s why I came. We’re thinking of assigning someone to help take care of them.”
”…Really?”
I’d intended to ask Silver Orchid to keep an eye on Iris and Arisa anyway. This had Charlotte’s hand all over it. After all, she knew the sisters were noble-born.
Taia leaned closer, lowering her voice.
”Truth is, that room was originally meant for someone to look after you. I was thinking of taking the role myself.”
She brushed against me, hand sliding boldly down to stroke me.
Even in the morning, I was hard, and her touch only made me swell further. She noticed, smiled faintly, then pressed her lips close enough to almost kiss.
”Shall I… give you some o-sewa?” T/N: pun on o-sewa—means “care,” but also innuendo for sexual service.
I answered without words.
Pinch.
”Mmnh♡ kiss♡”
I tugged lightly at her nipple, and she took it as consent, closing the last gap between us.
We kissed deeply, lingering in the hall until finally I let her into my room, where she gave me her promised care.
