Chapter 21 The Fallen Kingdom’s Princess, Part ① ⁕
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
In the rattling, swaying carriage, Alusia’s mind wandered to a simple wish: I’d love a bath… But she knew that desire would remain unfulfilled for some time. Crammed into the cramped cargo wagon were eight girls, ranging from a child barely eight years old to women in their early twenties, Alusia among them. The tight space forced their skin to brush against one another, the closeness generating a sticky heat that made sweat trickle down their bodies.
Like Alusia, every girl wore heavy shackles on their wrists and ankles—a clear sign of their grim reality. They were cargo in a slave trader’s carriage, nothing more than merchandise.
For now, as valuable goods, they were treated with a semblance of care. Once they reached the town, they might be allowed a bath to fetch a higher price. But that was the extent of it. Sold as slaves, they’d be at the mercy of their new masters, unable to resist. For someone as young as Alusia, that likely meant serving as a companion, forced to please whether she wanted to or not.
If they didn’t sell, the traders would have their way with them before casting them off to a brothel at best, or to grueling labor in the mines at worst. Either way, their fate was to become outlets for the base desires of unsavory men. The only hope for Alusia and the other “merchandise” was to pray for a kind mistress to buy them.
Lost in these bleak thoughts of a shadowed future, Alusia felt the carriage lurch to a stop. The clattering ceased, replaced by the frantic neighing of horses, men’s angry shouts, and… an unfamiliar, guttural growl. Are we under attack by monsters? The thought hit her, and she closed her eyes, a wave of resignation washing over her. This is it, then…
She couldn’t gauge how many monsters there were or how strong the traders’ guards might be. But from the sounds echoing outside, it seemed only a matter of time before the beasts prevailed. “Being sold as a slave or becoming monster fodder… which is better?” Alusia murmured with a faint, bitter smile.
Then, to her surprise, a man’s voice reached her ears. From inside the carriage, she couldn’t make out the words, but the clamor of battle—the monsters’ growls, the clash of steel—had fallen silent. The fight was over, though she didn’t know why or how. Hesitantly, Alusia peered through the carriage’s small window.
In the forest clearing, amidst a battlefield stained with blood, stood a man cloaked in black, his face partially hidden by a mask, and a female knight clad in… what could only be described as a daring bikini-like armor. Around them, monsters stood docile, as if tamed. At their feet lay the bloodied bodies of the slave traders’ guards, while the traders themselves cowered, trembling. The man’s voice—she was sure it was his—must have been what she’d heard.
But… Is he even human? Alusia’s breath caught as her gaze locked with his. Even from a distance, his sharp, dark eyes pierced through her, pinning her in place. In that moment, she understood. I can’t fight him. Some people you just can’t defy, no matter what. He was one of those people. Accepting her powerlessness, Alusia surrendered to whatever fate awaited her.
The man and the traders seemed to reach some agreement. The traders handed him a leather pouch and fled as if their lives depended on it. The man approached the carriage—toward Alusia and the others—and then…
* * *
Alusia and the others were brought to a room deep within a mansion carved into the heart of a dungeon. A girl named Alma, who had guided them, explained that the master of this place would “interview” each of them. Their fate would depend on the outcome, and until then, they were to wait quietly in this room.
On a whim, Alusia asked if she could bathe. Alma’s face showed a flicker of hesitation before she replied, “You’ll have to ask Kanata-sama directly.” So, Kanata was the master’s name. Alusia hadn’t expected much, so she wasn’t disappointed when her request was deflected.
But to her shock, after a simple but satisfying dinner, they were granted a bath. True, it was with the other seven girls from the carriage, and their shackles remained, restricting their freedom. Still, Alma and two other women tended to them with care, scrubbing their bodies until they felt refreshed.
Ten days passed. The food, though plain, was plentiful, and they were allowed daily baths. Aside from their lack of freedom, life here was comfortable—far more so than the three months since Alusia’s capture as a slave.
These ten days had been a rare moment of peace, a fleeting calm she wished could last forever. But Kanata’s visit shattered that fragile hope, reminding her that such dreams were just that—dreams.
* * *
”Millie, you good?” Kanata called to the female knight lurking nearby.
”Piece of cake, Master,” Millie replied with a cocky grin. “Just some slave trader guards? Small fry compared to a sergeant.”
They watched a carriage rumble down the forest path, its markings confirming it belonged to slave traders. Kanata had initially planned to snatch a girl from a nearby village, but a tip about this caravan changed his mind.
If he was going to take someone, he reasoned, a slave already destined for a grim fate would weigh less on his conscience than an innocent village girl. So, he decided to seize the entire caravan.
”So, what’s the plan?” Millie asked, her eyes narrowing with disdain as she glanced at Kanata. “Gonna take all eight at once?”
”Oi, cut that look,” Kanata snapped, fixing her with a glare. “Keep it up, and you’re next.”
Millie dropped to her knees in an instant, bowing low. “Sorry, sorry! Please, Master, those girls would be way better than me!” she blurted, shamelessly offering up the slaves to save herself.
Kanata smirked. She’s getting a punishment later, he thought. For now, he ordered the slave girls be given food and baths, then headed to his study.
”El, how’s it looking?” Kanata asked, entering the Control Room where El was reviewing the slaves.
”Hmm,” El mused, pointing at the display. “These two are breeding vessel material.”
”Really?” Kanata raised an eyebrow.
”Yup,” El said. “You could have your fun with them, but they’re not worth keeping long-term. They’d just try to curry favor to save themselves—won’t earn you much loyalty. Plus, their attitudes are trouble. We could abandon them in the forest, but using them as vessels is less wasteful.”
”Fair enough,” Kanata said. “I’ll have a taste later, then pass them to the goblins. What about the others?”
El tapped the panel, pulling up images of two younger girls. “These two depend on you. They’re still young, so training them to serve might suit your tastes better than forcing them now.”
The screen showed the girls bathing, their forms clear in the water. “Not exactly like Alma with her… generous assets,” Kanata noted, “but raising them slowly could be interesting.”
”Exactly,” El agreed. “Hand them over to Alma and Syl for training?”
”Yeah, bring them to me soon,” Kanata said, heading to the Training Room. Busy life, he thought wryly.
* * *
Two girls, fresh from their bath, were brought to the Training Room. “Um… excuse me…” one murmured, her voice trembling.
”Let’s start with your names,” Kanata said, ignoring their nervous glances.
”I’m… Mito,” the first said softly.
”Rem,” the second whispered.
Both girls stood rigid, fear flickering in their eyes as they faced the unknown. “Mito and Rem,” Kanata repeated. “You understand you’re slaves now, right?”
They nodded silently, their heads bobbing in unison.
”I’m your master,” Kanata continued, his voice firm. “My orders are absolute. Do you get what that means?”
Another pair of nods, quick and obedient.
”Good,” Kanata said, leaning back. “Then here’s your first order. Show me your devotion—right there, in front of me.”
The girls froze, their bodies stiffening at his words, the weight of his command sinking in.
”What’s wrong? Not going to follow orders?” Kanata’s voice cut through the tense air, sharp and expectant.
Mito and Rem hesitated, their faces flushed with embarrassment. Slowly, they slipped off their undergarments, revealing their untouched forms. With trembling hands, they parted their legs, their fingers tracing delicate paths as they followed his command, their movements shy but obedient under his gaze.
”Nn!” Mito gasped softly.
”Ah… h-ha!” Rem stammered, her voice catching.
”D-don’t look… please…” Mito whispered, her voice quivering with shame.
”N-no… I can’t…” Rem murmured, her words barely audible.
Their soft gasps filled the room as they began, their inexperience evident in their hesitant touches. Yet, the fleeting contact drew sweet, trembling sounds from their lips, their voices betraying the sensations they couldn’t hide.
”What’s that? Can’t finish?” Kanata’s tone was teasing, almost goading. “Help each other out, then.”
Spurred by his words, Mito’s fingers brushed against Rem, and Rem’s against Mito, their touches tentative but growing bolder. “Hah… ahh… h-harder…” Mito breathed, her voice shaky.
”Ahn!” Rem gasped, her tone rising.
”More… please, more…” Mito pleaded, her voice tinged with urgency.
”Y-yes… there…” Rem whispered, her breath hitching.
Their movements intensified, their bodies drawing closer until they clung to each other, lips seeking lips in a desperate, fumbling embrace. “Mmph…” Mito murmured against Rem’s mouth.
”Chh…” Rem responded, their kisses deepening as their tongues met, hesitant but fervent.
Their fingers moved faster, more urgent, until their gasps turned to cries, their bodies trembling as they reached a shuddering peak. “Ah! H-hah… ahn…!” Mito’s voice broke, her body shaking.
”Nn… hah… nngh!” Rem’s cries joined hers, raw and unrestrained.
”I’m… I’m going…” Mito whimpered, her voice fading into a soft moan.
”C-coming… I’m… ahh…” Rem gasped, her words dissolving into breathless sounds.
”Ahn… I… I can’t…!” Mito cried, her voice a mix of surrender and release. “I’m… ah… ahn…!”
”Hah… hah… it’s… it’s too much…!” Rem panted, her cries rising. “I’m… going… ahh…!”
Clinging to each other, their bodies trembled in the throes of their shared climax, their breaths ragged as they held on tight.
Kanata stepped forward, his presence commanding. “Now, both of you—make me feel it. Do that, and today’s training ends.”
The girls hesitated, then leaned forward, their tongues brushing against him with shy, careful licks. “Mmph… sft…” Mito murmured, her movements cautious.
”Nf… chp…” Rem followed, her tongue tentative but earnest.
Their touches sent shivers through Kanata, the sensation stronger than he’d expected. This is… something else, he thought, his breath catching.
”Mmph…” Mito took him deeper, her head moving slowly, rhythmically. “Nn… nn… nn…”
When she pulled back with a soft pop, Rem took her place, her lips closing around him. “Ngh… mmph…!”
They alternated, their movements growing more confident, more intense, each stroke heightening the heat coursing through him. “Nn… ngh…!” Mito’s muffled sounds grew frantic.
”Mmph… nn…!” Rem’s breaths came faster, her efforts matching Mito’s.
Their desperate service pushed Kanata to the edge. “Alright… here it comes!” he growled, seizing Mito’s head as a rush overwhelmed him. Splsh, splsh! The intensity surged, spilling forth. Splrt, splrt!
Pulling back, he turned to Rem, letting the rest pour out. Spurt! Thmp, thmp! The flood was overwhelming, more than he’d anticipated.
”Nn…!” Mito choked, struggling to keep up.
”Mmph…!” Rem’s eyes widened, her throat working as she swallowed.
They fought through the intensity, their breaths ragged as they took it all in. Kanata watched, satisfied. “Good. From now on, you’ll serve as maids. Syl and Alma will fill you in.”
With that, he left the room, leaving the girls in the care of Syl and Alma, who stood waiting nearby.
* * *
”Looks like it’s over,” El said, glancing up from the Control Room.
”Yeah, first day’s always like that,” Kanata replied with a shrug.
”…Pervert,” El muttered under her breath.
”What was that?” Kanata shot her a look.
”Nothing!” El chirped, feigning innocence. “So, calling it a day? Or are you going for the others?”
Kanata considered it. “Might as well deal with the two marked for breeding vessels.”
He headed to a different Training Room, where the two girls El had singled out waited. As soon as he entered, they rushed to him, pressing close, their hands fumbling to please him in a desperate bid to win favor. Their inexperience showed when he pushed further, their gasps sharp as they adjusted to the unfamiliar intensity. They tried to outdo each other, spreading themselves open in a display that was almost pitiful in its eagerness.
At first, their competitive flattery amused him. But their words turned ugly, belittling Syl and Sara, who had cared for them. “I’m better than Sara,” one boasted. “I can do more than Syl,” the other claimed.
That was their mistake. Kanata’s fleeting pity vanished. He summoned the goblin leader, and as the girls’ cries filled the room, the goblins dragged them away. Turning his back on their pleas, Kanata sought out Sara, spending the rest of the night showering her with affection.
