Chapter 71 Interlude – Encircled by the Evil Dragon’s Bloodline, Uigetsu ②
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
Uigetsu’s soft laughter filled the air, her voice warm and teasing. “Father, your embrace… it’s so warm, so comforting!”
I held her close, feeling the steady rhythm of her heartbeat against mine, a sign of her trust and the deepening bond between us. Her open tailcoat framed her figure, and she gently guided my head to rest against her shoulder, her fingers weaving through my hair with a tenderness that felt like a mother’s care. The act of being so close stirred a wave of warmth in her, pure and overwhelming, as if her heart was opening to me completely.
”Haha, you’re so eager for my affection!” she teased, her voice light but laced with pride. “You’re soaking up all my care, aren’t you?”
Her closeness enveloped me, a comforting warmth that seemed to carry the strength of the Evil Dragon’s Bloodline. Each moment we shared felt like a spark of power, her presence grounding me in a way that was almost otherworldly. Yet, I didn’t stop at simply basking in her care. I traced my fingers along her arm, feeling the strength beneath her gentle touch, and the blend of her loyalty and fierce devotion set my heart racing. Uigetsu let out a soft, trembling sigh, her body leaning closer as she pressed her hand to my back, drawing me into her warmth.
”This… it’s so comforting,” she murmured, her voice quivering with emotion. “I could get lost in this feeling forever.”
I lifted my gaze to meet hers, our breaths mingling in the quiet space between us. Her half-open eyes sparkled with a devotion that consumed her, the sharp edge of her boyish charm softened into a warm, radiant glow. She rested her forehead against mine, her arms wrapping around me as if to hold me forever. The strength of her embrace spoke of a bond deeper than words, her heart entwined with mine in a way that felt eternal.
”Your strength… I want to feel it always, Master,” she whispered, her voice filled with quiet reverence.
”You’re already part of me, Uigetsu,” I replied, my tone gentle but firm.
”Yes… you’ve shown me where I belong,” she said, her words carrying the weight of complete trust.
The children of the Evil Dragon’s Bloodline could never outshine their father, and Uigetsu was proof of that unbreakable bond. Her expression, soft yet fierce, showed how deeply she’d given herself to our connection. The dashing figure in her tailcoat had become a beacon of loyalty, her strength tempered by devotion. No matter the power or darkness within her, her heart belonged to me—a testament to the Bloodline’s unity. Sakuya, and the children yet to come, would all feel this same bond.
I pressed my forehead to hers, sealing our connection with a gentle touch.
”I’ll always protect you, Uigetsu. Be careful, too—for the little one you carry.”
”Of course, Master!” she replied, her voice bright. “I’d never let anything harm our precious child—oh!”
”Well said, my daughter,” I said, smiling.
I drew her closer, her warmth like a flame that steadied me. With a gentle embrace, I held her, feeling the strength of her spirit wrap around me. She trembled slightly, her face alight with joy, her arms tightening as if to anchor herself to me.
”This connection with you, Master… it’s everything,” she said, her voice soft but fervent.
”We’re made for this bond,” I replied. “It fits us perfectly.”
”Yes! It’s like I was born to be by your side,” she said, her smile radiant.
Even in the intensity of our closeness, Uigetsu’s joy shone through, untainted by any taboo. She leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to my cheek, her face glowing with the happiness of being so near. Her breath brushed my ear, warm and teasing, followed by a playful nip at my earlobe.
”Let me leave a little mark, Master,” she said with a mischievous grin.
”Hey, not so fast!” I laughed, touching the spot.
”Sorry! But I wanted to claim a tiny piece of you,” she said, her eyes sparkling.
Her gentle nip left a faint mark on my earlobe, a small sign of her affection. She gazed at it with pride, then nodded, satisfied.
”Our family will see this little mark of mine,” she said.
”What’s the plan with that?” I asked, amused.
”Just a bit of pride!” she replied. “I want them to know I’m yours. But if you don’t like it, I can make it fade.”
”It’s small enough,” I said, touching the faint mark. “I don’t mind.”
The mark was subtle, barely noticeable, but it brought her joy, so I let it be. A fleeting thought crossed my mind—what if the others followed her lead? Would I end up with a collection of tiny marks? With the family’s growth, I could only imagine the chaos if this became a tradition. Uigetsu’s playful possessiveness was a spark of her unique spirit, tying us closer in this wild dance of the Evil Dragon’s Bloodline.
”You’re truly Yaten’s daughter,” I said, chuckling.
”Of course!” she replied, her grin wicked. “I’ve got Mom’s fire when it comes to you, Master!”
Her words carried the fierce claim of the Bloodline, her spirit pulsing with a possessive warmth. The child within her seemed to echo that devotion, a faint stir of connection that reached out to me.
”The little one feels you too, Master,” she said softly.
”A feeling even Sakuya couldn’t handle without being overwhelmed,” I said. “Think it’s safe to share so much?”
”Absolutely!” she said, her voice bright. “This bond will only make them stronger!”
My presence, filled with the strength of our lineage, had once overwhelmed Sakuya, yet it had only made her stronger. As Uigetsu said, for the child within her, it was a gift—a spark of our shared power.
Still, I hesitated. “Too much of this bond, and they might crave it always.”
”You’re overthinking!” she laughed. “If they do, you’ll just keep them close, Master!”
Her bright laughter chased away my doubts, her eyes gleaming with the fierce charm of her mother, the kingdom’s radiant princess. She held me tighter, her smile as vivid as a summer sky.
”Now, you owe me,” she teased. “You’ve felt my warmth, so fill my heart with yours—where our little one rests!”
Her voice was playful yet earnest, her embrace tightening as she sought every moment of our bond.
