Chapter 64 Peace Negotiation, Part ③

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

Tsubasa’s body burned, a searing heat unlike anything they’d ever felt. It wasn’t just pain—it was something alien, twisting deep inside, spreading like wildfire. Their stomach clenched, organs shifting as if remolded by an unseen hand.

Bones creaked, their spine bending with sickening cracks. Shoulders narrowed, ribs tightened, and their pelvis groaned, stretching wider. This wasn’t just pain. It was their body rewriting itself.

Tsubasa collapsed to the floor, gasping, fighting the urge to vomit. Their throat tightened, voice pitching higher with each ragged breath.

It’s changing… my voice… Their hands trembled, fingers growing slimmer, skin softening and lightening. Their arms, once lean with muscle, now tapered into delicate lines. Sweat dripped down their forehead, back, and… chest?

They glanced down. Their shirt strained, fabric pulling tight over a new weight.

My chest… it’s… A sharp ache bloomed as tissue swelled, heavy and undeniable. Their hips shifted, underwear digging into newly widened curves. A strange pull at their core left them dizzy, as if their very being was reshaping itself.

It hurts… it’s scary… but this is what I wanted. Tears spilled down their cheeks. Their Adam’s apple was gone. Hair brushed past their neck, bangs swaying in their vision. Their face felt softer—cheeks rounder, jaw smoother, eyelashes thicker. The pain began to fade, leaving only the rapid thud of their heart and the dampness of sweat on their skin.

Tsubasa stood, legs wobbling under their new balance. They stepped toward the mirror Kanata had set up.

A girl stared back—delicate, youthful, yet with eyes Tsubasa knew. That’s… me.

Their lips trembled as they touched their cheek. “It’s me,” they whispered. The voice was soft, unfamiliar, yet theirs.

I did it… I’m really a girl… Tears flowed freely now, joy swelling in their chest. The pain, the fear—it had all led to this. They’d finally caught up to their true self.

* * *

A girl stood before Kanata, bare and transformed. It was Tsubasa, unmistakably, though her features had softened, her body entirely changed. Kanata had seen this before—experiments with the Otaku Trio, where one screamed through the agony of transformation.

That person, now back to their original form, avoided eye contact, hinting at something awkward that followed. Kanata had dismissed it then. Tsubasa was different… or so he thought.

Three days in the Dungeon, cut off from everything, had worn Kanata down.

It’s her fault I’m like this, he told himself, justifying the heat rising in his chest. He stepped closer, wrapping his arms around Tsubasa from behind.

”Fweh!?” Tsubasa yelped, startled. “Kanata, what’s—?”

”I’m sorry, Tsubasa,” he whispered, voice low. “I can’t hold back anymore. I need you.”

”Wait, hold on—” Tsubasa’s voice shook, but Kanata’s hands moved, brushing her chest. She gasped, body tensing under his touch. “D-don’t… that feels…”

”It’s your fault,” Kanata murmured, his breath warm against her ear. “You did this to me.”

”Me?” Tsubasa’s protest wavered as Kanata’s touch deepened, drawing a soft moan. “Kanata, stop… it’s too much…”

”You’re beautiful,” he said, voice rough with want. “Let me hear you.”

Tsubasa’s cheeks burned. “It’s embarrassing…” Another touch, and her voice broke into a whimper.

Kanata’s hands wandered lower, teasing, testing. She’s really… like this now, he thought, marveling at her response.

”No, not there…” Tsubasa’s voice was a plea, but her body trembled, betraying her. A rush overwhelmed her, and she cried out, collapsing against him, breathless.

Kanata caught her, guiding her to the bed.

”Tsubasa,” he said, voice tight. “I’m at my limit.”

”N-no…” She tried to pull away, but her body felt heavy, bound by something unseen. What’s happening? Panic flickered in her eyes as Kanata leaned closer, his intent clear.

Their bodies pressed together, a slow, overwhelming connection. Tsubasa’s breath hitched, a mix of fear and something new.

Kanata moved carefully at first, then faster, the sound of their closeness filling the room. Tsubasa’s voice rose, no longer restrained, each sound raw and unguarded.

It’s too much… Tsubasa’s thoughts blurred, her body shaking as waves of sensation crashed over her. Kanata’s intensity matched hers, and together, they reached a peak, a shared release that left them both breathless.

”Wow,” Kanata panted, looking at her. “You’re… really a girl now.”

Tsubasa, still catching her breath, could only nod, her heart racing with a mix of fear, wonder, and something like relief.

Tsubasa’s breath came in ragged gasps, overwhelmed by the intensity. Too much… Their body trembled, caught in a storm they couldn’t escape.

Kanata panted beside them, his eyes still burning.

”Sorry, Tsubasa,” he murmured, voice rough. “It’s not enough.”

”Wait—!” Tsubasa’s plea broke into a cry as Kanata moved again, relentless. “Please, no more!”

”No way,” Kanata said, his tone unyielding. They fell back into the rhythm, bodies entwined, Tsubasa’s protests dissolving into soft, helpless sounds.

Hours passed, a blur of sensation. Tsubasa’s mind spun, caught between exhaustion and something deeper—something they couldn’t name.

I can’t… I’m done… Their voice broke, barely a whisper. “Kanata… I can’t…”

The night stretched on, endless, until they both collapsed, spent.

* * *

”You jerk… monster… pervert…” Tsubasa muttered, glaring at Kanata through tear-streaked eyes.

Kanata grinned, unrepentant. “Hey, I said I’m sorry. But come on, you’re so beautiful I couldn’t help myself. That’s a compliment, right?”

”It’s not!” Tsubasa snapped, voice cracking. I finally became a girl… and then this? They sniffled, wiping their face. “You stole my first moment…”

Kanata laughed, pulling out a hammer.

With a swing, he smashed a hole in the wall, just wide enough for a person. “Here we go.”

He gestured for Tsubasa to go first, a mock-gentlemanly wave. Lady’s first, huh? Tsubasa thought bitterly, crawling through.

Their dress caught, riding up, and they flushed, yanking it down. He’s not staring… right?

Kanata followed, unfazed. “We’re good,” he said, channeling mana to sync with the Dungeon.

”This is my turf.” He handed Tsubasa a rough map. “Follow this straight, and you’ll hit the subsystem room. Use the call there.”

Tsubasa frowned, clutching the map. “Why can’t you just come with me?”

Kanata sighed, rubbing his neck like an overworked dad. “Look, I get it. But a new Dungeon? Freedom after ages? Let me enjoy it a bit longer!” His grin was half-pleading, half-defiant.

Tsubasa nodded reluctantly, watching Kanata disappear back through the hole. Idiot.

* * *

Kanata, you liar. Tsubasa trudged through the Dungeon, map in hand. Becoming a girl was everything they’d dreamed of, but Kanata’s actions blindsided them. He said he wasn’t into guys… so does that mean he sees me as a girl? The thought stirred a confusing mix of anger and warmth.

They reached the subsystem room and sent the distress signal as Kanata instructed.

Within minutes, a rescue team arrived. But now, Tsubasa stood bound in ropes, surrounded by girls staring daggers.

”Um, Otonashi-san?” Tsubasa tried, looking at Miyako. “Can you help me?”

Miyako just stared, silent and unreadable.

”Asagiri Maya-san!” Tsubasa said, spotting another familiar face. “I have a letter from Kanata!”

The girls flinched at Kanata’s name.

El, perched on Maya’s head, leaned forward. “Where’s the letter?”

Tsubasa blushed. “Uh… in my… chest.”

A few girls—slender ones, High Elves among them—tensed.

One shouted, “She’s the enemy! Make her a Breeding Vessel!”

”Now, now,” El said, calming the crowd. She skimmed Kanata’s letter, her expression unreadable. Beside her, Maya’s face darkened, a chill radiating from her. Is that… an aura? Tsubasa thought, shivering.

Maya took charge, her voice sharp. “Annamira, Millie, assemble a special search team. Leave within half a day. Priority: secure Kanata and the new Dungeon. Borrow hands from Ku-chan if needed. Rena, Amisa, prep the guest room. Miyako, contact Saya.”

El didn’t interrupt, impressed by Maya’s efficiency.

 Then Maya turned. “Haruka.”

”Y-Yes!” Haruka yelped, biting her tongue in her haste.

”How many of those potions can you prepare for Tsubasa-kun?”

 Haruka tilted her head.

”Five vials right now if it’s just test batches. For long-term use, I’d need a day to test, two for analysis, a week for alchemy and compounding… ten days total.”

Maya nodded, thinking. “Alright, Tsubasa-kun. Saya will pick you up tomorrow. The potion wears off the day after, so you’ll need to meet Kanata to adjust your… peace agreement. Contact us when you’re ready, and Saya will bring you back.”

 Tsubasa hesitated.

”Is that… okay? Letting me go?”

Maya’s smile was light but firm. “It’s fine. You wouldn’t break a promise, would you? Or do you want to make enemies of us?”

Tsubasa swallowed. She was right. Crossing this group wasn’t an option—not just because of their strength, but because Kanata’s help was tied to the feminization potion.

The current dose lasted five days; a tailored version could stretch to ten. A permanent potion was possible, but Haruka advised keeping the option to revert, especially for returning to their old life. If I go back as a girl, it’ll complicate things…

”Got it,” Tsubasa said. “I’ll do what I can and come back soon.”

 Maya’s smile warmed.

”Good.” But then her eyes glinted, cold and sharp. “By the way, Tsubasa-chan… you were with Kanata this whole time, weren’t you?”

 The air turned icy.

 Tsubasa’s heart raced. She knows…

 ”And you’re still… a girl, right?” Maya’s voice was a blade.

Tsubasa wanted to bolt, but the ropes held tight. “Take her!” Maya ordered.

 Haruka stepped forward, grinning.

”Tsubasa-chan likes girls, huh? Just like me!” Her smile was predatory, her eyes gleaming.

”N-No!” Tsubasa’s scream echoed through the room, but no one blinked. It was just another day in the Dungeon.

Tsubasa’s ordeal was far from over.

 —

With Kanata and Tsubasa’s reconciliation, the summoners were finally coming together. The group was nearly complete, ready to face whatever lay ahead in the Dungeon.

But Kanata, ever unpredictable, had other plans. He’d run off, slipping away into the new Dungeon’s depths.

What was he chasing this time?

Another adventure, or perhaps another heart to charm? Only time would tell.
