Chapter 77 Mercuria Kingdom Uprising, Part ⑧
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
Taniella’s party trudged silently along the dungeon’s endless, narrow corridor. No one knew how much time had passed. The damp rock walls closed in, and the muddy floor clung to their boots, weighing them down. Exhaustion etched their faces, conversation long faded.
”Hold on,” Taniella said, halting the march. The dim light and relentless trek had drained them, but no open space offered rest. We can’t keep going like this.
”Let’s take a break,” she suggested, stopping abruptly.
Relief washed over the group. They slumped against the walls, the cold stone soothing their sweaty bodies.
”Maybe… light a fire to warm up?” Mary mumbled.
”No way,” Kusuha cut in sharply. “Fire here would use up the air. We’d suffocate.”
Mary’s eyes widened. The corridor’s stillness confirmed it—no breeze, just stagnant air. “Right… sorry, I wasn’t thinking,” she said, shrugging with a wry smile. I should’ve known. Fatigue’s clouding my head.
Instead, she turned. “Then maybe Maeya can cast a Heal—”
Her words caught as she realized—Maeya wasn’t there. “Maeya?”
She scanned the group: Kusuha, Taniella, herself. No Maeya. “Maeya? Where are you? Seriously, where?”
Silence gripped them. They exchanged glances, the truth sinking in: no one had noticed Maeya’s absence.
”No way… since when?” Mary’s voice trembled.
”She was with us just before…” Kusuha bit her lip.
Taniella stood, peering down the straight corridor they’d traveled. When, where, how had Maeya vanished? No one had answers. “Maeya!” she shouted, her voice echoing off the rocks, fading into the depths.
Mary bolted back the way they came, calling, “Maeya! Where are you? Answer me!” Mud splashed, sweat dripped, her heartbeat pounding in her ears. Fear tightened her chest, visions of Maeya lost to a trap or pit haunting her.
”We need to search,” Taniella said, urgency on her face. “Something’s happened.” The group moved again, shouting Maeya’s name, groping through the narrow path.

”Predictable… or just a bit dumb?” El said, smirking at the monitor.
Mary’s frantic dash caught Kusuha’s attention, who chased after her, leaving Taniella alone. “Well, panic’s natural when a friend’s missing,” Tsubasa said, “but in a tight corridor like this, they should stick together and stay calm.”
”Thanks to their mess, this’ll be easier,” El replied, tweaking the console. As Mary and Kusuha veered into a side path, El reset the corridor, sealing it behind them.
Taniella, lagging, passed the now-closed entrance. “Perfect,” El said. “Tsubasa-chan, Taniella’s yours. You know it depends on you.”
”I get it,” Tsubasa said, dodging El’s sharp gaze with a shrug.
”What about you, El-san? Taking on two alone? Bring backup,” Tsubasa suggested. Taichi perked up, only to shrink under El’s glare.
”Who do you think I am?” El snapped. “The succubus queen’s daughter doesn’t need help.” She stormed out, leaving Tsubasa and Taichi.
”Tsubasa-dono, when you take Taniella-tan, can I—” Taichi started, but Tsubasa’s icy stare silenced him. “Nomura, what was that?”
”N-Nothing! I’m… checking the surface soldiers, degozaru!” Taichi stammered, diving into the monitor.
Tsubasa sighed. Kanata, come back already. I can’t handle these girls. Their resolve wavered, exhaustion mounting.

”Maeya! Maeya, where are you?” Mary’s voice echoed through the dungeon.
”Maeya!” She stopped, realizing she was alone. “Kusuha? Taniella?” No reply came.
Looking around, she stood in a small hall. I didn’t pass through here. She clenched her teeth. Looking for Maeya, and now I’m the one lost.
A presence stirred behind her. She spun, relieved to see Kusuha. “Kusuha, you’re safe—”
But something was off. Kusuha’s eyes held not anger or hate, but deep sadness and fear. “I’m sorry,” she whispered, then lunged.
Mary recoiled as Kusuha tore at her clothes, her movements rough yet hesitant. Mary could overpower her, but Kusuha’s precise strikes pinned her down. Worse, Mary hesitated to hurt her friend.
”Stop, Kusuha!” Mary’s cries echoed uselessly. Kusuha’s actions didn’t falter, ignoring her distress.
Kusuha’s lips found Mary’s chest, sending a jolt through her. “Ah… nngh…” Mary gasped, shocked at her own voice. Kusuha’s tongue was impossibly skilled, waves of unfamiliar pleasure coursing through her. “No… stop…”
She struggled, but Kusuha’s strength held her fast, her body weakening under the sensations. Kusuha’s lips teased her chest, nibbling, rolling, each touch making Mary’s body convulse. “Ngh… ah…” Sweet sighs escaped despite her will.
Kusuha’s fingers slid downward. “Please… Kusuha, stop…” Tears streaked Mary’s face. Then Kusuha’s touch reached her most private place. “Ah!” A sharp cry slipped out.
Kusuha’s fingers moved with gentle precision, caressing inside. “No… not like this…” Mary’s rationality frayed, her body heating, melting under the touch. Her hips moved involuntarily, matching Kusuha’s rhythm. “Stop… please…”
Tears mingled with pleasure as Mary writhed. Kusuha’s face twisted with pain, as if her own actions tormented her. “I’m sorry… so sorry…” Her voice quivered.
Mary realized Kusuha wasn’t herself—her actions were driven by some external force. The contradiction tore at Mary’s heart, leaving her confused. “Kusuha… ah…”
Fighting the waves of pleasure, Mary summoned her strength and shoved Kusuha away. “No!”
As Kusuha stumbled back, Mary scrambled away, gasping. “Kusuha… why…?”
Tears streamed from Kusuha’s eyes, her expression a mix of sorrow and fear.
A voice cut through Mary’s confusion. “How cruel, making your friend suffer like that,” El said, her tone mocking.
Mary’s gaze snapped to Kusuha, who, still crying, was desperately touching herself, her fingers moving frantically. The sight was heartbreaking—pitiful, wrenching Mary’s chest with guilt and sorrow.
”What did you do to her?” Mary shouted.
El smirked. “I placed a suggestion on Kusuha. She has to make you climax repeatedly, and only when you return the favor will it break. Until then, she’s trapped—aching for release, unable to find it. She’ll go mad eventually.”
”Fufu, what’ll you do? Only you can save her. Let her break you, then break her back.”
”You’re a demon!” Mary spat.
”Fufu, that’s harsh. I’ve been called a little demon, maybe,” El said, flitting about gleefully.
Mary considered tackling El to break the suggestion, but the overwhelming mana radiating from her tiny frame stopped her. I can’t win against that.
Resolving to save Kusuha, Mary approached her slowly. “Kusuha…” Her voice carried sorrow and tenderness. Kusuha’s tears fell harder, her weak “Mary…” tinged with gratitude.
Mary embraced her gently, feeling Kusuha’s warmth and shared pain. “I’m sorry… if I were stronger…” Her voice broke. Kusuha sobbed too, their trembling shoulders mirroring each other. El laughed, delighted by their anguish.
”No… not there…” Mary’s voice shook as Kusuha’s fingers grazed her inner thigh, sending shocks through her body. Her defiant eyes glistened, her weak arms pushing against Kusuha, but her strength faltered.
”Mary… relax… let me…” Kusuha’s voice was angelic, but her eyes held a hunter’s glint. The suggestion seemed to ease her pain as she touched Mary, her movements precise, targeting Mary’s most sensitive spots.
”No… not there…” Mary’s protests grew sweet, her voice betraying her. Kusuha’s lips traced her neck, her hot breath searing Mary’s skin. Each touch stoked a fire within, torn between fear of surrender and overwhelming desire.
”Don’t be scared… it’s okay, you’re beautiful…” Kusuha’s words wove into Mary’s heart like a spell. Her gentle, skilled touch eroded Mary’s resistance. Her body responded eagerly, sweet aches pulsing with each caress.
”No… stop…” Mary’s moans escaped, her rationality crumbling, instinct taking over. She surrendered to Kusuha’s warmth, swept away by unfamiliar sensations.
”No… I can’t… no more…”
”Let go, Mary… you have to, or I…” Kusuha’s eyes gleamed strangely.
”Mary, let go. With my fingers, my tongue—over and over.” Kusuha’s movements intensified.
”No… I’m… I’m…!” Mary’s back arched, her body convulsing before collapsing, drained.
Kusuha held her close, kissing her cheek tenderly, smiling with affection. “I won’t let you go, Mary-san.” Her whisper felt distant to Mary, sinking into a haze of pleasure.
How many times had she climaxed? Mary’s consciousness blurred. Kusuha’s delicate fingers never stopped, teasing her sensitive spots gently, then fiercely. “No… I can’t… ah!”
Relentless waves of pleasure crashed over her, her body trembling. Resistance was futile—Kusuha’s touch pinpointed her weaknesses, plunging her into an abyss of sensation.
”More… you need to feel more, Mary-san,” Kusuha whispered, her voice a sweet poison, her eyes lustful, her smile satisfied.
”Ngh… no…” Mary’s body jolted with each new touch. Shame and pride dissolved, leaving only raw pleasure. Kusuha’s lips moved from her neck to her chest, her tongue teasing sensitive peaks, drawing endless moans.
”Fufu, you’re adorable, Mary-san.” Kusuha’s fingers delved deeper, and Mary’s body arched, a piercing climax ripping through her.
”Ah…!” Before she could recover, Kusuha’s touch reignited, her body convulsing, her mind melting. “More… Kusuha…” The words slipped out, desperate, unnoticed by Mary herself.
Kusuha smiled lovingly, stroking Mary’s head. “Yes… as many times as you want.” Another wave hit, and Mary gazed at Kusuha, her expression melting into bliss.
Kusuha’s voice snapped Mary back. “Mary-san… now me… please… I can’t take it…” Her pleading, tearful eyes stirred an urge in Mary.
Recalling the suggestion—that Kusuha needed her to break it—Mary’s defiance flared. Forget the suggestion. It’s my turn now.
She shifted, straddling Kusuha. “You want this?” Her eyes burned with desire. Kusuha’s soft skin beneath her made Mary’s breath catch.
”Mary-san…” Kusuha’s voice was expectant, vulnerable. The usually composed beastmen now lay open, needing her. It shook Mary’s core.
”Get ready,” Mary murmured. “I’m paying you back for earlier.” She kissed Kusuha fiercely, drawing a sweet sigh that fueled her own desire.
Kusuha’s body was impossibly soft. Mary’s fingers glided over her skin, each touch eliciting shivers and breathy gasps that tickled Mary’s neck. “Ah… Mary… more…”
Mary’s movements grew bolder, responding to Kusuha’s pleas. Recalling the spots that had unraveled her, she caressed Kusuha’s body with care. “Here? Or… here?” she teased, her voice edged with mischief.
Kusuha turned her flushed face away, and a sadistic spark flickered in Mary. I’m not usually like this. “What do you want? Say it,” she pressed, surprised by her own aggression. Kusuha’s adorable reactions were impossible to resist.
”…There… touch me there…” Kusuha whispered, her voice barely audible.
Mary’s body burned hotter. Her trembling fingers reached Kusuha’s core. “Ah…! Mary-san… Mary…!” Kusuha’s sweet cry echoed, and Mary reveled in the newfound sense of control, gently but relentlessly pushing Kusuha to the edge.
”Feel good?” Mary asked.
”Yes… so good…” Kusuha’s reply brought a satisfied smile to Mary’s lips. She moved more boldly, their heated breaths filling the room as their passionate night unfolded.
The suggestion no longer mattered. They shifted positions repeatedly, lost in each other’s bodies, driving one another to climax. “Ah… no… I can’t…”
”No… together…!” Their voices intertwined as they reached their peak, their bodies trembling in unison.
El watched, chuckling. “Fufu, Kanata would be so jealous. ‘Why wasn’t I here?’ he’d say.” Knowing Kanata’s fondness for such scenes, El smirked, imagining his frustration.
