Chapter 86 Path of Return – Conclusion

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

In the Rubia Dukedom, a modest nation sustained by the holy city of Lubinaria and its surrounding towns, trade flourished as a bridge between the beastmen of Flora and the humans of Mercuria. Yet, the dukedom’s true distinction lay in its dual governance: the Rubia House, steering politics, and the Saint of the Lubinaria faith, guiding religion.

Ordinarily, such a split would spark conflict, but in Rubia, the reality was more peculiar. Behind closed doors, the Rubia House grumbled, Politics is such a hassle. The Saint’s got everyone’s ear—let her deal with it. Meanwhile, the Saint sighed, Why can’t the House take charge? I’m done with this Saint business—I just want to get married.

This mutual reluctance birthed a laid-back, almost whimsical national character. The people, fiercely proud, declared, If we don’t protect our country, who will? As the holy seat of the Lubinaria faith, attacking Rubia risked enraging the entire continent—only the Empire could shrug off such consequences.

”Attacking a nation like that would devastate the dukedom, leaving countless in tears and making enemies across the continent. Even so, do you still wish to return?” Kanata’s words hung heavy, silencing the room.

Maya’s eyes, wide with hope, met his. “Kanata-kun… you’d find a way to make it work, right?” Her plea carried a weight he couldn’t dismiss lightly.

”…Well, there’s still time,” Kanata said, sidestepping a firm answer. “Nothing’s set in stone yet.” A ripple of relief passed through the group. “Still, we should prepare. I’ve drafted some plans—take a look and share your thoughts.”

Kanata outlined three priorities. First, conquering the dungeons in Flora and Mercuria. Controlling these unexplored territories was critical to moving forward, though not urgent. He entrusted this to the Otaku Trio, knowing their enthusiasm but wary of their recklessness. They’d need supervision.

Second, stabilizing the surface. With Flora and Mercuria under their influence, both kingdoms required steady governance. This meant appointing proxies, quelling opposition, rallying neutrals, and pioneering efforts like developing Aaren Plain. Most resources would go here, with Tsubasa as the ideal overseer.

Finally, addressing the Demonkin army. Rumors swirled that Demon Lords, including Auzawler, had stabilized their territory and now eyed the southwest—Kanata’s domain. Whether through conflict or peace, Kanata would need to lead this himself.

Tsubasa and the others debated Kanata’s proposals, hammering out details. The dungeon mission fell to a six-person party: the Otaku Trio, Kimura, and two adventurers scouted by Tsubasa—twin sisters Nanai and Ninim. Kanata, unaware of their existence until now (thanks to Tsubasa’s secrecy and his wives’ scheming), learned Nanai wielded fire magic as a warrior, while Ninim excelled as a healer. With Taichi and Nanai in the vanguard, Kimura and Ninim in the rearguard, the team was balanced. Kanata, wary of the Trio’s tendencies, assigned “Faris-chan No. 2” and “Faris-chan No. 3” as monitors, sternly warning, “Don’t even think about touching them.”

El smirked. “Really, Kanata? Going that far?”

”It’s an ancient civilization ruin,” Kanata shot back. “Faris’s analysis skills are essential.” Not about protecting the twins from the Trio’s antics, nope.

”Oh? So you’re not planning to devour those girls?” El teased.

”I mean, I haven’t not thought about it…” Kanata mumbled.

”Pfft. I was gonna help you call them over before they leave, but…”

”Please, help me!” Kanata dropped to his knees in a dramatic bow.

El burst into laughter. “That’s what I love about you!”

”I heard you wanted to talk?” Nanai said as she entered the room.

”Yeah, just want to hear your thoughts. Sit, please.” Kanata gestured to chairs, where fragrant herbal tea awaited. “Relax, have a sip.”

Nanai and Ninim sipped the tea, unaware of Haruka’s special enhancement laced within. Perfect, Kanata thought, suppressing a grin. All he needed was to stall.

”So, you’re heading to the dungeons,” he began. “Any concerns?”

 ”Concerns?” Nanai tilted her head.

 ”Why ask?” Ninim added, curious.

”It’s an ancient civilization’s legacy,” El interjected, perched lightly on Ninim’s shoulder. “Kanata’s not doubting your skills, but he wants to minimize risks.”

Kanata nodded, asking about their past experiences and future goals, keeping the conversation light. Gradually, the sisters’ responses slowed. Ninim’s breathing grew heavy, her cheeks flushed. The drug’s kicking in, Kanata thought, smirking inwardly.

”Nngh…” A soft moan escaped Ninim, her hand subtly grazing her lap, guided by El’s influence.

”You okay?” Kanata asked, feigning concern.

”N-nothing!” Ninim stammered, her face crimson.

Almost time. Kanata signaled El telepathically. Suddenly, Ninim stood, grabbing Nanai in a tight hold.

”Ninim! What’re you doing?” Nanai gasped.

”S-sorry, sis… my body’s moving on its own…” Ninim’s hands tore at Nanai’s clothes, exposing her chest.

”What the—?!” Nanai struggled, but Ninim’s grip was unnaturally strong.

”I’m sorry…” Ninim murmured, her hands kneading Nanai’s skin, movements growing frantic.

”Ah! Stop!” Nanai’s protests mingled with gasps, the scene teetering on chaos.

”Sis! Sis!” Ninim’s hands moved feverishly, kneading Nanai’s chest with relentless focus.

”Ngh… ah…!” Nanai’s breaths grew sweet and shaky, the aphrodisiac’s effects taking hold.

”Give me a good look,” Kanata said, his voice low. At his cue, Ninim lifted Nanai’s ankles, spreading her thighs wide.

”Well, damn,” Kanata murmured, his hand gliding over Nanai’s exposed skin. “That’s beautiful.”

”Ah… nngh…” Nanai’s voice trembled with longing, her body reacting despite herself.

”Alright, Ninim-chan,” Kanata said, leaning closer. “Ready?”

”N-no… I… don’t want…” Ninim shook her head, but her hands betrayed her, slipping to her own lap, fingers moving rhythmically. “Nnh…”

”Please, make her stop!” Nanai cried, tears glistening in her eyes as she watched her sister.

”Stop her?” Kanata smirked, stroking Nanai’s drenched skin. “She’s doing it herself. And…” He held up his glistening fingers. “You’re not exactly hating this, are you?”

 Nanai flushed, unable to respond.

”Here’s the deal,” Kanata continued, eyeing Ninim’s frantic movements. “Make your sister finish, and I’ll consider stopping.”

”No! I can’t do that to her!” Nanai protested, but as Ninim’s motions intensified, her own breathing grew ragged.

”Sis! Siiiis!” Ninim’s cries peaked, her body trembling.

”She’s calling you,” Kanata teased. “Or should I take over?”

Nanai shook her head fiercely. “I… I’ll do it.” She moved behind Ninim, her hand hesitantly brushing her sister’s skin.

”Ah! Sis!” Ninim gasped, her voice bright with pleasure as Nanai’s fingers explored.

Nanai, confirming Ninim’s readiness, slid a finger inside, slow and deliberate. Ninim’s hips moved in sync, her moans escalating. “Sis! Oh, Sis!”

Nanai matched her rhythm, her own breath hitching. Ninim’s body began to convulse. “I’m… I’m gonna—!” With a cry, she arched, collapsing in a shuddering heap.

”Haa… haa…” Nanai, watching her sister, let her own hand drift downward, lost in the moment.

Time’s about right, Kanata thought. “Ninim-chan, ready to be my servant?” His fingers traced her skin, teasing.

 ”N-no… ahh…” Ninim resisted, but the pleasure overwhelmed her. “I… I’ll be Kanata-sama’s servant… please…”

”Good girl.” Kanata turned to Nanai, repeating the torment, teasing her to the edge and pulling back. Under the aphrodisiac’s sway, both sisters crumbled, pleading. He pulled them close, their bodies pressed together, and took turns, savoring the contrast—Nanai’s tight grip, Ninim’s soft, clinging warmth.

 ”Ahh!” Nanai gasped.

”I’m… I can’t…!” Ninim cried, both lost in sensation.

As they reached their peak, Kanata reveled in the moment, then pulled back. “Time to finish together.” He moved again, alternating between them, their differences fueling his pace. “Here it comes!” With a final thrust, he released, their cries blending as they shuddered in unison.

Even as they trembled, Kanata pressed on, pushing them to another peak. When he finally withdrew, their bodies glistened, spent. “Now… who’s next?” he mused, eyeing their dazed forms.

For days, Kanata indulged, alternating between the sisters, their protests fading into submission.

Days later, Kanata knelt in seiza, enduring Tsubasa’s lecture. “Kanata, what the hell did you do?
