Chapter 38 Drugged

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

Because the torn scraps of my uniform kept brushing my hypersensitive nipples and the swollen folds between my legs, I came again and again with every step. In the end, I had no choice but to strip completely and walk home naked.

I wore nothing at all. The thought that someone might see me made my heart pound with terror. I strained to listen for any footsteps or voices, but even the faintest breeze grazing my skin sent fresh shudders of pleasure through me, scattering my focus.

‘Yes, the runner got too excited from big luck. Because of that, she now has bad status like “cannot wear gear” and “very lewd”… What can I do about this, for real?’

I still couldn’t grasp what the voice meant. Just the open air on my bare skin made my body burn hotter; I clenched my fists and tried to breathe steadily.

‘Well, let’s take the drug,’ the voice said lightly.

”Then, let’s take the drug,” I echoed in my mind.

Fighting the tremors that rippled through me with every tiny motion, I slipped the round pill I’d crafted earlier between my lips and swallowed.

 ”…Ah… Uh???? Oh?”

The world exploded open. Information flooded my brain like every object in existence suddenly spoke at once. Colors sharpened, sounds layered, thoughts melted into syrupy warmth. It felt so sweet, so good… and so drowsy. Sleeping now would be a waste.

 ”Ah, oo—”

‘By the way, like what almost happened with Teacher Richard, someone might realize you took the drug materials from the pocket. Use them fast and hide the evidence, or it’ll be bad. So, eat more and more.’

Was I floating? Or leaping sky-high? Everything felt soft, weightless, like drifting through clouds.

‘Well, right now my body has zero resistance to drugs, so as you see, I’m making a face no girl should make,’ the voice noted.

 ”Hee, fufu… ha…”

I was falling now—tumbling through endless sky while the sun shrank to a distant coin.

‘You got sudden drug poisoning (teehee),’ the voice giggled.

 ”Hee, hee…!”

Phantom insects crawled over my skin. Panic surged; I slapped and scratched at myself, desperate to shake them off, heedless of the pain.

‘Quick! (real fear)’ the voice urged.

 ”DAD! MOM!”

Don’t leave! Play with me! Why are you going? It’s lonely! It’s cold! Hug me! Let me hear your voices!

‘One more hit!’

 ”——AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!”

‘Uh… (confused)’

A blue moon strolled across the sky while a penguin played piano and launched fireworks. A frog’s croak echoed to the edge of the world. Clock hands spun backward; clouds sketched graphs and dozed off. The wind sipped soda and hummed. Car tires rocketed into space. Shower water giggled beside my ear. A cat’s eyes blazed like headlights. The world flipped upside-down—

‘My dear viewers worry, but soon the gift from Evolution will give me resistance, so it’s fine. I’ll just be a drug-poison patient for a short time,’ the voice soothed.

 ”WHAT!? WHAT?? AHAHAHA!!”

In the mirror, socks tangoed. A banana peel recited poetry. Piano keys rained from the sky. Someone inverted the heavens and scribbled haiku. A chameleon shopped for earrings. In orbit, curry rice sang and danced. Fruit rinds piloted fighter jets. A sea of jam lapped at my ankles. A bear-hatted alien hunted cheese. Water pipes pedaled bicycles in my dreams. The moon kneaded onigiri while singing lullabies. The sun twirled spaghetti-curry and slurped it noisily—

‘Right now, Homo-chan looks like a crazy girl soaked in drugs,’ the voice described.

 ”EEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!”

Rain fell upward; a spoon waltzed alone. A pink elephant backstroked through clouds. In the desert, a tomato declaimed sonnets. The balloon in my right hand declared in a reindeer baritone, “Today is Thursday.” The moon hung laundry and doodled maps with crayons. A gorilla erupted from the soil, attempted flight, failed, and hailed a penguin taxi. Chocolate meteors pursued shooting stars. Hippos tickled ivory each time birds trilled. An elevator picnicked on grass. Castanets clacked from the showerhead. An antique clock munched potato chips and rolled over. A banana-shaped cloud drifted in; an alien slurped ramen and vaulted away—

‘Well, that… um… it will be fine… maybe… well, a little?’

 ”Ah—, ah—, oo—, oh—, eh—”

Long ago, a swing dangled from the heavens. A turtle sprinted across it, pizza stuck to its feet, the pizza belting opera. Everyone wondered, What song does pizza sing? A mountain bellowed, “I’m a mountain, but today I feel like spaghetti!” A bear guffawed and chased a sky-swimming banana. The banana shouted, “I am the undisputed king of space!” Its voice toppled a pink elephant from the stratosphere. The elephant eyed the banana and asked, “Lunch?” The banana replied, “I just wanted to fly!” They cracked crackers, sipped tea, danced the carrot polka as carrots plummeted like confetti. Night arrived; stars yawned “Good morning!” A cat gasped, “But it’s daytime!”—

‘Listen, Homo-chan, the sight of you naked with rock-hard nipples and clit, completely unhinged… it’s too funny… that’s not fair,’ the voice whined.

Yesterday, a dog moonwalked. Apples pirouetted overhead, pleading “Help—” A cat insisted, “I’m a vegetable!” and devoured toast. A bear declared, “Fish today!” and shaped onigiri, but a rabbit over-jumped; the rice balls rocketed skyward. A cucumber begged, “I wanna dance too!” Black shoes proclaimed, “Sun for a day!” A cow meowed, “Cat trial!” Everyone serenaded grapes while a strawberry played hide-and-seek—

‘This is a sure clip~desuwa! (sure)’

Today, a lone cherry crooned a mournful ballad. White clouds drifted off; I forgot my onigiri. A tree whispered “Goodbye” and shuffled away. A tiny owl shattered. I leaped across melting ice; snow vanished. The cat stared, magic hat forgotten. Everyone shrank. An apple tree sang laughter-tears. I wiped endless tears. A truck chortled; my song fluttered away like tempura flakes—

‘Huh? Oh, this is drug-induced delirium, so Darkness Sorcery can’t fix it. I’ll leave it like this for a while,’ the voice concluded calmly.

* * *

 I broke…
