Chapter 106 Interlude꞉ The Birth Rite of the Evil Dragon’s Bloodline – Uigetsu and Gingetsu

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

 ”Papa! Papa!”

”The way you look, the exploration must’ve been fun, then.”

After finishing her adventure in the Underground Temple, Gingetsu, looking perfectly pleased, burst into the living room cradled in the arms of her Mother, Uigetsu. Her black hair, streaked with strands of silver, sprouted a pair of tiny, jet-black horns—sharp, like miniature katana blades—from the crown of her head.

The infant’s face, blooming into a joyful smile at the sight of her father, was framed by clear, brilliant blue eyes.

This holy aura, which purifies the surrounding space, is a clear sign of the Dragon’s blood made manifest, just like her older sister, Shiratsuki. However, the lively and astute air about Gingetsu, full of energy, holds a certain bright, playful innocence that differs from Shiratsuki’s pure, upright nature.

 ”Mama! Papa! Paaapa!”

”Ahaha! No need to rush like that, your papa isn’t running off,” Uigetsu chuckled.

Gingetsu leaned out from her mother’s embrace as if she might launch herself across the room, extending her tiny hands toward her father.

Uigetsu quickly readjusted her hold, afraid the energetic little darling would tumble out, and she kept stroking Gingetsu’s small head, running her hand through the silver-streaked black hair with a fond, bittersweet smile. Seeing her daughter’s absolute devotion, this natural-born Papa Daughter who adores her father even more than her mother, filled Uigetsu’s expression with overwhelming, tear-filled joy.

And then, as her daughter’s wish was granted and she was near her beloved father, Gingetsu practically dove onto my chest. I quickly pulled her into my arms, embracing her—

 ”Papa…”

”Was Father’s arm really that cozy, after all that energy?” I murmured, my voice soft.

 ”A-wuh, Papa… mmh, mmh….”

—and she immediately melted into an expression of peaceful, swaying bliss, perfectly described as ecstatic languor.

When I gently smoothed her hair and rocked her body as if she were in a cradle, Gingetsu instantly indulged in a state of supreme, heavenly tranquility.

Her clear blue eyes remained fixed on the father before her, unwilling to look away. A thrill of overwhelming delight shot through her entire body simply from the touch of my fingers on her head, and she clenched her tiny hands into small fists, as if savoring an emotion too profound to contain.

 ”Here, Gingetsu, your favorite pacifier.”

 ”Mmmh, awuuhhh… P-Papa, yup! T~~~~~~~~~~!!”

As usual, I brought my thumb close to her mouth, and Gingetsu instantly clamped her small lips around the tip.

Suddenly, her eyes, which had been on the verge of melting into slumber, flew open as if struck by a powerful stimulant. Her clear blue pupils regained their sparkle, and the expression on Gingetsu’s face as she frantically licked and tasted her father’s thumb was like a tongue reveling in heavenly nectar.

Her tiny tongue industriously tickled the tip of my thumb. Though I couldn’t tell if she actually tasted any sweetness, the act of tasting her father seemed to be enough to drive her palate to a climax.

She sucked with an audible chuu-chuu sound. Finally, as if one thumb was a full meal, Gingetsu, utterly dissolved in the treat’s pleasure, flopped peacefully onto her back in my arms.

With a look of utter fulfillment, her clear blue eyes glazed with intoxication from the taste of her father’s thumb, she brought her tiny hand up and flashed a thumb-up in front of her face, a gesture she’d picked up from somewhere to convey her feelings.

”Was Father’s finger that delicious, then?” I couldn’t help but smile.

 ”Awuh, uh!”

”Hahaha. You certainly get that side from your Mother, don’t you…”

Gingetsu’s attitude, which seemed to proclaim, “I have no regrets in my life!”, made me laugh aloud.

I was reminded that her Mother, Uigetsu, had also been a child who loved to attach herself to and suckle on her father’s body when she was first born, confirming the powerful bond of Mother-Daughter bloodline. Uigetsu seemed to be thinking the same thing, for the gaze she fixed on her daughter, Gingetsu, became even more saturated with affection and tenderness.

”Gingetsu, don’t you need to give Papa something back?”

 ”——————!! A-wuh! Thanks!”

”Whoa, now. What kind of thank-you is Gingetsu going to give her Father?” I asked gently.

Uigetsu’s words made Gingetsu remember her vital mission.

She immediately clung to her father’s chest and began to climb him. Her goal, apparently, was my face.

I sat upright and supported her so she wouldn’t accidentally fall, watching her progress until she reached her destination. Gingetsu’s sturdy little body, a manifestation of the Dragon’s blood, easily made it to my shoulder, and she wrapped herself around my head, clutching me tightly.

As the sacred Dragon aura cleansed the space around me, I was enveloped in the sweet, fruity scent peculiar to babies. I felt her serious gaze and then heard a large intake of breath, a sign of her resolve.

 ”Papa——————Chu! Mmh, mmh! T~~~~~~~~~~!!”

Along with the adorable call of ‘Papa,’ Gingetsu planted a kiss of gratitude on my cheek.

A tiny, soft, ticklish sensation spread, and Gingetsu, the Papa Daughter, writhed with delight in the act of kissing her father. Though she couldn’t possibly understand the concept of sensuality, a child of the Gingetsu’s bloodline, viewing her father as absolute property, would naturally sink into a mysterious emotion even without fully grasping the meaning of the act.

The first kiss was singular, followed by a second, more hesitant one.

But by the third, the floodgates opened, and the pecking kisses came in a torrent, unstoppable. Driven by an unorganized emotion and a powerful impulse toward her father, Gingetsu became entirely engrossed in the act of giving her thank-you.

However, her Mother, Uigetsu, quickly intervened, lifting the tiny body into her arms to stop her.

”A thank-you kiss is just one. You’re supposed to show Papa your gratitude, so it’s not okay to prioritize your own feelings and kiss him over and over.”

 ”Uuuuh, Papa, Papa! Chu, Papa!”

”Honestly, it’s tough having a child who is so thoroughly a Papa Daughter… Now listen, the essence of this act is to show Papa your feelings. If you keep kissing him just because it feels good, that’s just being selfish.”

 ”Hah… uuhh, Mama.”

The intelligent Gingetsu, understanding the words, responded by hanging her head in a gesture of remorse toward Uigetsu.

With the astonishing intellect of a one-week-old, this child, possessing the Gingetsu’s blood and the cunning of a country-ruining beauty, could grasp the lesson immediately. Being called out for ignoring her father’s feelings and prioritizing her own pleasure seemed to be a massive blow to Gingetsu’s Papa Daughter spirit, and she manifested an emotion of profound regret for her actions.

Uigetsu, as her mother, immediately offered a warm, enveloping embrace upon seeing her child change her ways.

 ”You understand now, Gingetsu.”

 ”Uuuh, Mama…”

”Then, let’s be more careful next time. You’re still a baby, so it’s okay to use this mistake as a lesson and not do it again.”

 ”…Awu.”

Uigetsu’s educational policy is to never scold a young child but to gently persuade and reason with them. She is certain that Gingetsu, with the cunning of the Gingetsu’s country-ruining beauty and the spirit that contains the holy Dragon, will respond if guided correctly.

Because Gingetsu understood the heart of her Mother, Uigetsu, their Mother and Child relationship was forged into an even stronger bond.

The child places complete trust in her mother, and the mother responds with her full effort to the child. Even though the Mother and Child possess opposite attributes and natures—the Gingetsu and the holy Dragon—their relationship, which should naturally repel, will never be broken.

”Mama will do anything for Gingetsu. So—————mmh, what is it?”

Halfway through her sentence, Gingetsu had started climbing her Mother’s overly ample breasts.

Unlike her father’s body, this peak, like the highest of mountains, was difficult even for the infant manifesting the Dragon’s blood. Seeing the true intent behind her actions, Uigetsu gently supported her body, guiding her up to her shoulder.

And from her perch on her mother’s shoulder, Gingetsu, proving that she had absorbed the lesson she’d been taught—

 ”Mama—————chu.”

”…Well done, Gingetsu. To understand what Mama taught you so quickly… I feel so incredibly happy, the tears just won’t stop.”

—The kiss of gratitude from her daughter perfectly struck a chord deep within Uigetsu’s heart. The child’s growth was more than enough to fill the Mother’s soul with joy, and her Obsidian Eyes shone, streaming beautiful, dew-like tears down her cheeks. Her mouth bloomed into a smile, and her expression as she hugged Gingetsu tightly was overflowing with happiness.

”Building a family makes you this happy, huh? Ahaha! I… I really am so glad I became Father’s bride!”

In that moment, Uigetsu understood anew the happiness brought about by the Prosperity and Breeding of the Gingetsu’s Bloodline.
