It was the heart of summer vacation.
On this particular day, everyone had come out to the beach. It was a big group: Hirose, Rindou Hibiki, Kushima Koharu, Kirino, Motoya Himari, and Ihara Kairi—six of them altogether.
The beach they chose was a regular, busy place. It was buzzing with tons of people, from whole families and students to flashy-looking guys clearly just trying to flirt and pick up girls.
Kirino had prepared everything: a big tent, a parasol, and a table. She’d made sure they had all the necessary beach gear for a perfect day.
”Hirose, sweetie! Rub this in for me!” Hibiki called out.
”Got it. Just hold on a sec,” Hirose replied, already feeling a little overwhelmed.
Hibiki was lying face-down on the sheet under the parasol. She handed him the sunblock, ready for him to cover her entire body. He took the white liquid, spread it evenly over his palms, and began applying it to her back, which was already warm from the sun.
“Mmmnh,” Hibiki moaned. “Your hands feel so good, Hirose!”
”Well, I’m glad to hear that…” he muttered.
Every time he rubbed the sunblock, there was a slick, squelching sound of the liquid and her skin pressing together. It should have been a normal action, but the sight of a guy rubbing down a girl created an atmosphere that felt anything but normal.
”Okay, now the front… Hee-hee ♡”
”No way! We can’t do that with everyone watching, silly!” Hirose shot back.
”Haha, you got a point there, baby! Anyway, look, the others are waiting. Get to it!” Hibiki teased, sitting up.
”I have to do everyone…?” Hirose sighed.
”Yeah, man! Hurry up already!” Himari shouted, and Kairi chimed in, “That’s right, like, we’re totally waiting!”
The girls, all of them—except Hibiki who was done—were waiting. The prospect of applying sunscreen to four more beautiful girls before they even started playing made Hirose feel exhausted already.

”H-Hirose-kun… W-what do you think…?” Kirino whispered, showing off her beautiful swimsuit while fidgeting shyly. Her ‘Bust Enhancement’ skill had boosted her from a B-cup to a C-cup. Compared to the other girls, the difference wasn’t huge, but it was still a definite upgrade.
”Yeah, it suits you. I… well, Kirino… that’s great for you,” he stuttered.
He didn’t know what to say about her chest size getting bigger, but no matter what he said, Kirino would have been thrilled.
”…Yes!” she beamed.
Soon, Hibiki and the others started drawing attention from the other beachgoers. Their shiny hair, smooth skin, and delicate, beautiful faces made them stand out. Their body types were all different, but they were all undoubtedly gorgeous girls. Five such girls together became an immediate focal point. Just playing beach volleyball with a ball, giggling and hitting it back and forth, kept all the men’s eyes glued to them.
”Phew… Maybe we should take a break,” Hibiki suggested.
After playing for a while, everyone was tired, so they decided to head back to the tent to rest.
Returning to the tent was like entering heaven. This was because Kirino had placed her special non-melting ice in all four corners, making the inside wonderfully cool.
”Whoa! This is awesome, Kirino!” Hirose exclaimed.
”Geez… I might not ever wanna leave!” Kairi giggled.
”No kidding! Who would’ve thought Kirino’s Gift would be so useful at the beach?” Himari observed.
”We gotta thank Kirino-chan!” Hibiki added.
”Thanks, Kirino!” Koharu chimed in.
Everyone thanked Kirino, drinking their cold drinks inside the tent and resting.
But after a while, something shifted. Himari was the one who started the conversation that changed the mood.
”Hey, hey, you guys know this? Guys who come to the beach just to flirt and pick up girls? They always bring a tent, no fail, man.”
”Really?”
”Yeah! And get this: they, like, drag the girl they’re hitting on into the tent and get down to business!” Himari whispered suggestively.
”Ugh, so trashy…”
”But wait, if the girl is going with them, she must be agreeing to it, right?”
”Totally. That means some girls are actually waiting to be asked out!”
”Exactly.”

That one line from Himari instantly planted a thought in the minds of the women in the tent. The five women’s gazes gradually focused on Hirose.
”Uh… what is it? Why are you all staring at me?” he asked, perplexed.
The tent suddenly felt like a cage. A cage meant to hold wild beasts. And inside were five wild beasts and one lone, weak animal about to be hunted.
Realizing there were too many of them, the five girls exchanged glances and nodded to each other.
”Fists out! Rock, paper, scissors! Go!” Hibiki yelled.
”Huh!? Why are you playing rock-paper-scissors all of a sudden?!” Hirose cried out.
The result: The team of Hibiki, Himari, and Kairi won against the team of Kirino and Koharu. Hibiki’s team was up first. The Kirino team had to wait outside.
”We’ll be back in thirty minutes, okay?” Kirino informed them.
”That’s not long enough!” Himari protested.
”Any longer and we’ll turn into raisins out here!” Kirino explained gently. While Himari complained about the time limit, being outside for too long would be miserable. Even resting under the parasol might get boring for two people.
So, Kirino and Koharu decided to explore the beach area while they waited.
”Heh heh heh…” Hibiki giggled menacingly.
”Hold on a minute, why are you making that face?” Hirose gasped.
”Come on, you know what time it is, Hirose!” Himari insisted.
”Totally, man!” Kairi agreed.
”You might as well give up, honey. And I’m going first, of course,” Hibiki declared with a winning smirk.
”You got it, sweetie!” Himari and Kairi replied in unison.
In his swim trunks, Hirose was approached by Hibiki on all fours. Because of that position, her already large chest looked even bigger. Drawing close to his face, she kissed him, then made smacking, wet sounds as she started kissing his neck and chest.
Hirose was soon lying on his back. Himari and Kairi moved in, their hands reaching for the parts Hibiki wasn’t touching.
With a sudden pull, Hirose’s swim trunks were yanked down.
”—Whoa! Hirose, you’re ready for action, aren’t ya, buddy!” Himari cheered.
Hirose, realizing the situation, couldn’t help but feel his lower body react with excitement and arousal.

Meanwhile, Kirino and Koharu walked off together. They expected to be approached by flirty guys, but surprisingly, no one bothered them, which actually made Koharu feel relieved.
That’s when it happened.
”Oh… isn’t that her…?” Kirino mused.
They were heading to a stall to buy soft serve ice cream when they spotted some girls doing the same. One of them had light green hair, and both Kirino and Koharu recognized her.
”Hm…?”
The girl noticed them, and her eyes widened in surprise. She remembered Kirino and Koharu, because she came running toward them with her soft serve in hand.
”—You two were the ones from the Dungeon Tour before, weren’t you? The ones who carried me when I passed out…”
”Ah, that’s right… Long time no see!” Koharu greeted.
”It has been a while,” Kirino added politely.
After exchanging greetings, the girl introduced herself. Things had been too chaotic during the dungeon incident for proper introductions. Even after waking up outside the dungeon, she’d been busy with Guild staff and police questioning.
”My name is Hourai Midori. I’m currently a high school sophomore.”
”Wow, we’re the same age! I’m Kushima Koharu! And this is—”
”Hidou Kirino. It’s a pleasure to meet you,” Kirino said, her voice as clear and composed as ever.
Midori had an aura similar to Kirino—clean, proper, and polite. Her friend had the same vibe.
”Hidou… Kirino…-san?” Midori inquired.
”Yes… Do you know me, by any chance?”
”Of course! You’re famous in our industry—”
”Famous…”
Kirino had previously acted as if she knew Midori. Now Midori was saying she knew Kirino. Kirino looked at Midori, puzzled, but Midori quickly provided the explanation.
”My father runs an Adventurer-only Talent Agency called ‘Treasure Next,’ and I’m his daughter!”
”Ah…”
”We even work with the Adventurer Guild Association, and I’ve actually met Kirino-san’s grandfather before!” Midori continued.
”Right… I understand now…” Kirino mumbled.
Kirino’s grandfather, Hidou Genroku, never stops talking about his granddaughter. He probably brought up Kirino the moment he interacted with the ‘Treasure Next’ agency. And maybe, Kirino had even been taken to social events where Midori was present, even if she didn’t remember it.
”You are just as beautiful as your grandfather described. I’m quite envious,” Midori praised respectfully.
”Midori-chan… Can I call you that?” Koharu asked warmly.
”Ah, yes. Of course. I will continue to address you as Koharu-san and Kirino-san,” Midori replied.
”Well, from my perspective, you’re quite a beauty yourself, Midori-chan…” Koharu offered.
”Um… Th-thank you very much…!” Midori stammered, suddenly blushing and fidgeting. Her previously confident posture completely dissolved as her face turned red. Koharu found the sudden change adorable.
”By the way, is your agency connected to the
”Of course! We try to scout famous adventurers with great terms before other agencies can grab them. The Big Three are amazing in both looks and ability. We were very eager to approach them!” Midori explained professionally.
Koharu and Kirino nodded. The ‘Treasure Next’ agency was, in fact, the most famous Adventurer-only Talent Agency in the business, representing almost every adventurer involved in entertainment. Even Koharu, who wasn’t interested in the adventurer world, knew their name. This meant Midori must be connected to many adventurers.
”Do you help out with your company’s work, Midori-chan?”
”Yes. Actually, the Dungeon Tour I participated in was part of my job, but…”

She knew the reason for that incident: The assassination was aimed at Hourai Midori, and they had been caught in the crossfire. ”Since we have this chance, how about we exchange contact info?” Kirino suggested.
”Oh, that’s a great idea! Please!” Koharu agreed eagerly.
”Then, if you wouldn’t mind…”
”And, if my eyes aren’t deceiving me, I believe Koharu-san has the potential to be a Gravure Idol!” Midori announced.
”Ehh!?” Koharu’s eyes went wide at the surprising compliment during their contact exchange.
Midori must have a keen eye for who could sell and who couldn’t, given her job, and she judged Koharu to be a potential hit.
”Well… with your wonderful figure, fair skin, smooth black hair, and your overall beauty… you will sell!” Midori insisted passionately.
”W-wait a minute, Midori-chan… You’re serious?”
”If you’re interested, let me know. We mainly deal with adventurers, but we do have connections with general talent agencies, too,” Midori assured her.
”I’m just happy living my normal life, so I’ll just keep that in the back of my mind…” Koharu whispered.
For Koharu, it was a very welcome compliment. It was something she never would have imagined when she still had that birthmark. It was all thanks to Hibiki and Hirose. Koharu vowed in that moment to never forget her gratitude and to cherish the two of them even more.
”As for Kirino-san, with your stunning beauty, an art book would sell like hotcakes. But since you have connections to that world through your family, I don’t need to try and poach you, do I?”
”I’m the same as Koharu-chan. I’m quite satisfied with my current life,” Kirino replied firmly.
”I see. I can tell from your expressions. I’m actually a little envious,” Midori murmured with a slight frown.
It was a slightly vague comment, but after exchanging contact details, Midori left. She’d been so caught up in the conversation that the soft serve in her hand had completely melted.

”We’re back!” Koharu announced.
After enjoying their soft serve, Koharu and Kirino returned to the tent. The moment they unzipped the entrance, a thick, dense aroma wafted out, and they both gasped in surprise.
”W-what is that smell…?” Kirino asked, bewildered.
Inside, the four people were all naked. It was obvious they had all finished their activity, but their bodies were coated in something. It looked like a clear, viscous liquid, glistening as it mixed with sweat.
”That, is what I brought. It’s lotion. It’s amazing… but you gotta watch the quantity, man. It gets super slippery!” Himari grunted, holding up the bottle of lotion while lying on the ground.
”But be careful! It gets all stiff and crusty after a while!” Kairi warned.
The transparent substance coating them was, in fact, body lubricant.
”That looks… fun…” Koharu murmured.
”I agree…” Kirino whispered.
Koharu and Kirino, who had never used lotion before, looked at the others with a hint of envy.
”Alright, time for us to switch. Everyone out!” Koharu declared.
”Hey, man, what about my break time?” Hirose groaned.
”If you take a break, it’ll be evening before we know it! Just wipe off the lotion with a towel, and then it’s Round Two with us. Right, Kirino-chan?” Koharu asked with a glint in her eye.
”Yes. I, too, would like to have a sweaty, slippery time with Hirose-kun,” Kirino agreed.
There was no escape for Hirose. The two girls were full of energy and had waited long enough.
”Whoa… Hearing Kirino say something like that is seriously hot,” Himari mumbled, her eyes wide.
It was a surprising statement coming from someone so elegant and reserved. Everyone was shocked.
”You too, Hibiki-chan, get up!” Koharu ordered.
”Koharu~ My hips hurt~” Hibiki whined.
”Come on… Whoa! You are so slippery!” Koharu exclaimed as she helped her friend up.
”Yeah, man, that’s the best part! When you get all slick with Hirose, it feels completely different from normal,” Hibiki sighed contentedly.
Hearing that, Koharu felt a tingling sensation in her lower body. Kirino felt the same, so she quickly wiped the wet sheet with a towel and gave Hirose some water, preparing them for the activity.
Once Hibiki and her team left the tent, it was Koharu and Kirino’s turn.
”Hirose-kun. Thank you for everything, always.”
”What brought that on?” Hirose asked mildly.
”Oh, don’t worry about it! Just accept my thanks!” Koharu insisted. She was thinking of Midori’s offer to be a gravure idol and was grateful to Hirose, but she didn’t intend to tell him the details.
”Yeah, I’m always grateful to you, too, Koharu.”
”…Honestly, such a charmer, aren’t you?” Koharu mused happily.
Not to be outdone, Kirino also expressed her feelings.
”Me too! So, here. This is for you—”
”—Nghh…” Hirose gasped.
Kirino put a piece of the ice she created into her mouth and gave it to Hirose mouth-to-mouth.
”Ith cohd… (It’s cold…)” Hirose mumbled, his mouth numb.
”Hehe… you’re so cute,” Kirino giggled.
”Okay, Kirino-chan.”
”Yes.”
The two girls grabbed the lotion bottle, poured some into their palms, and began their own session.

Later, after the beach trip, during the middle of the summer break.
”—Kirino-chan. Do you have a moment?” Hidou Kasumi, Kirino’s mother, asked her daughter at home.
Kirino looked at her, puzzled, but the name that followed made her eyes widen.
”Hirose-kun… You know, the one who was playing here at our house before?”
”Um… yes?”
”He’s not exactly your boyfriend, is he?” Kasumi pressed.
”He’s not, but…” Kirino stammered.
It was a relationship permitted by Hibiki. He wasn’t her boyfriend, but they did have a physical relationship. Since Kirino loved all of her friends, she was perfectly satisfied with their current arrangement, even without a formal title.
”Could you bring him back here sometime, sweetheart?”
”…Mom, do you need Hirose-kun for something? —Ngh…” Kirino asked, but in that instant, her vision briefly blurred, and she felt a wave of dizziness. It lasted for less than a second, so she didn’t think much of it.
”Hmm… Well, I need him to… do something, so can you do that for me?” Kasumi charmed.¹
”…Okay. I’ll bring him. It’d probably be better when Dad and the others aren’t around, right?” Kirino agreed.
”Thank you! You truly are my daughter, darling!” Kasumi beamed.
Kirino hadn’t quite heard all of Kasumi’s words, but she answered and accepted the request anyway. Kasumi, smiling, hugged Kirino tightly before releasing her.

Kirino went back to her room and pulled out her smartphone. She searched for Hirose’s chat and sent him a simple message.
’Hirose-kun. I have a favor to ask—’
