If Ecoa truly possessed the knowledge of the dungeon they needed, it made sense to rely on her for the production side from now on, rather than Fuyutsuki Saori.
”Yes, Master Hirose-sama,” Ecoa replied, her voice formal and precise. “First, we will construct the dungeon based on your Gift and your current level of magic power. You are free to design it as you wish, but my suggestion is that you create at minimum the same number of floors as you have skills.”
”So, since I have eight skills, that means I need at least eight floors, huh?” Hirose muttered.
Currently, Hirose possessed the following eight skills: ‘Skin Quality Improvement,’ ‘Fat Burning,’ ‘Depilation,’ ‘Hair Quality Improvement,’ ‘Breast Growth,’ ‘Sensitivity Improvement,’ ‘Posture Correction,’ and ‘Body Odor Improvement.’
Even though Ecoa suggested a minimum of eight floors, Hirose felt that might not be enough. Many adventurers would find that unsatisfying. Typically, even the lowest F-Rank dungeons boasted ten floors. No matter how powerful the magic beasts they placed inside, there was a risk the dungeon would be cleared too quickly. Simply giving out Effect rewards wasn’t a business model that would last.
”In that case, I think we need ten floors just to reach the room where you get the Effect for each skill,” Hirose mused.
”Then how about we make it eighty floors?” Ecoa immediately countered. “It is possible to set up a selective gate right after the entrance where players can choose their path, desuwa¹.”
”You can do that much!?” Hirose gasped. When he thought of a ‘selective system,’ he’d only pictured a simple true/false quiz door.
”Yes. However, if we prioritize the entertainment that the people of this world desire, I believe a format where the Effect is not clearly stated beforehand, and the content is only revealed once the deepest room is reached, would be preferred.”
”Hmm… that makes sense,” Hirose agreed. “My skills give different Effects that people want for different reasons. If only one path had a high difficulty, some people might not get the Effect they actually want.”
Everyone has their own worries. That’s why they needed to avoid a design where a handful of Effects became too difficult to acquire.
”So then, how about we change the number of times people have to visit to get the Effect?” Hibiki suddenly chimed in.
”Like, even for medical hair removal, you have to go many times before you see the full Effect, right? So, people who only make it to the fifth floor have to visit ten times to get the Effect. But people who clear all ten floors only need one go. …Wait, though, if we wanna make money from the entrance fee, a one-and-done might be a bad idea, maybe?”
”Ohh, that’s just like you, Hibiki!” Hirose exclaimed, impressed.
It was an idea Hirose, who wasn’t very knowledgeable about beauty practices, would never have come up with. The question was whether Ecoa could actually make it happen.
”Ecoa, can you do that?”
”Let me see… It is not impossible. Shall we try to build it once?” Ecoa offered, her hand raising toward the wall.

In that moment, eight holographic monitors shimmered into existence on the wall, displaying images. At the same time, the ground began to tremble with a low, deep grinding tremor, and the monitors showed rooms, like a ‘Master Room,’ being constructed one after the other.
”Wha—I feel like my magic is being sucked right out of me…!” Hirose muttered, looking down at his own body.
”Amazing… so this is how a dungeon is built,” Hibiki observed.
”Ours might be a little special, though,” Ecoa corrected, watching the construction.
”A-ba-ba-ba-ba!” Asami squeaked.
A few minutes later, the dungeon’s expansion was complete, and Ecoa slowly lowered her hand.
”Is it done?”
”……”
Ecoa’s face should have been expressionless, yet Hirose saw a distinct look of reluctance on her features.
”What’s wrong?”
”…I apologize, but I have extremely unpleasant news, Master. To cut to the chase, your magic power was only enough to construct three floors…”
”EEEHHH!? My magic power is T-O-O L-O-W-W-W-W!?”
This was entirely unexpected. The Dungeon Master, Hirose, didn’t have enough magic. The limit was three floors, let alone eighty. He had used his skills constantly for the past two years, but his total magic power hadn’t increased much at all.
”If my magic recovers, can I try to build more then?” Hirose asked, desperate.
”No. It depends on the innate magical aptitude of the person, so a temporary recovery will not change things. However, if your friends can cooperate, there is a chance…”
”You mean, we’ll get magic from everyone?”
”It is less ‘receiving’ and more akin to a ‘Sub-Master Registration’.”
”So, like a Sub-Master?”
”Yes, exactly. If even that is not enough… then we must give up on expanding the dungeon,” Ecoa declared.
There was only one choice.
”—Everyone, will you help me?”
”Of course!”
”Yeah!”
”If there’s anything I can do, I’ll do it!”
”Aba!” Asami gave a small, flustered nod.
”Absolutely!”
Everyone readily agreed.
”But you know, I think I have the least amount of magic,” Hibiki pointed out. “Shouldn’t we start with the person who has the most?”
”Hibiki-chan is right,” Kirino declared, confident. “In that case… it would be Asami-chan, wouldn’t it?”
”Aba!? Hidou-senpai must have quite a bit, though…” Asami stammered.
”No,” Kirino immediately corrected. “There’s no one in this world who could possibly beat Asami-chan. It has to be Asami-chan.”
Kirino’s statement was a bold declaration, though she couldn’t possibly know the data for every adventurer abroad. But from what she’d seen of Asami, her conviction was absolute. The others nodded in agreement, clearly convinced as well.
”Then… I’ll do it,” Asami agreed, resigned.
”Asami-sama, you said?” Ecoa confirmed.
”Aba!”
”Then, please step over here—”
Asami stood before Ecoa. But the moment she did, she suddenly remembered the registration ritual Ecoa had performed on Hirose.
”Wait, don’t tell me, this is going to be—”
”Ngh!?”
Ecoa cupped Asami’s face in both hands and kissed her full on the mouth.
”Mm… Nchuu… Mmmph… Chu-pah… Mngh… Haah… Gulp. The registration is complete.”
”Ah, ahh… aba-aah……” Asami’s face was a fiery red, her eyes spinning in a dizzying circle. The absorption of Asami’s saliva seemed to finalize the Sub-Master Registration.
But the massive change wasn’t in the flustered Asami—it was in Ecoa.

”Ecoa!?”
Suddenly, Ecoa let out a sharp cry and began to violently tremble where she stood, every muscle in her body seizing up.

Hirose’s voice couldn’t reach her as her convulsions refused to stop.
”Ick… Ick… ICK! GUUUHHHHH!……… Ohh… Ohhhh… Gasp…”
Finally, her eyes rolled back into her head as a huge spasm racked her, and she collapsed onto the floor.
”EcoaAAAA!?”
”T-too much magic……” Hibiki whispered, dumbfounded.
Though no one was sure what exactly had happened, it certainly looked like Ecoa had just experienced an intense climax of a completely different nature.
”…For now, how about we take a break until Ecoa recovers?”
Rindou Hibiki, who had witnessed countless climaxes from Hirose’s treatments and, uh, other activities, calmly suggested this. She sat down on the floor, pulled a snack out of her bag, and began to munch on it, perfectly composed.

Her sole purpose is to serve and support the Dungeon Master, Hirose.
• Fuyutsuki Saori – A guild staff member who possesses the ‘Appraisal’ Gift. She is called in to assess Asumi’s critical condition, identifies the injury as a magical curse, and reveals that Hirose might be the only one who can cure it, despite the professional risk to herself.
• Kirino – Strikingly beautiful with blue long hair (F, 168cm), Kirino is gifted with ice magic and feels isolated because of her appearance. Hirose’s Beauty skill helps her improve her self-image and social comfort, directly affecting Kirino’s relationship with her family and classmates.
• Rindou Hibiki – Hirose’s cheerful, bold classmate who is the first to request his Beauty skill.
