### Inside the Magic Tool Comfort Dream Space
”So, for the moment, the problem with the barrier magic back in my homeland, Scandinavia, is all sorted,” Karentisia declared with a composed nod.
”Ooh, that’s, like, really amazing, ya know! What in the world happened while we were asleep?” Silvia chirped, her voice high and full of cat-like curiosity.
”Oh, a lot happened. Just… a lot,” Karentisia hedged, her tone clipped.
”A lot, huh? But why is your face so red, Karentisia?” Silvia observed, tilting her head. “What’s up with that?”
”I told you, it was a lot! You should know, we’re best friends, aren’t we?” Karentisia asserted, her cheeks clearly flushed.
”Nya-nya. I mean, we were supposed to meet up with you and try to cut the barrier from the outside using the Sacred Artifact, the Princess’s Silver Blade, weren’t we, nyaa?” Silvia mused aloud.
”That’s true. Yes. That special Sacred Artifact might have been able to cut through that strange barrier magic… well, no matter. The proper owner has been chosen by the master, so I can’t use it anymore anyway,” Karentisia sighed, her voice laced with a touch of resignation.
”Nyaa? Is that so, nyaa? …Oh, wait. I remember the pervert (Shin) used it during the fight with Lord Oberon, nyaa!” Silvia realized with a snap.
”Yes, the pervert (Shin) took it. After… licking my back,” Karentisia spat out the last part, a shudder running through her.
”Uwah! He’s, like, a total pervert, ya know. That Shin,” Silvia giggled.
”Hmph, yes. Shin is a pervert,” Karentisia confirmed, a faint, undeniable smile playing on her lips.
”…Why do you sound so happy, nyaa?” Silvia squinted suspiciously.
* * *
Karentisia-chan and the others are sitting on their chairs, calling me a pervert. I guess it makes sense. I’m currently looking like a caveman with no clothes on, so ‘pervert’ is probably the only thing I can look like.

”Ahem! Shin-kun was so kind as to make my tummy feel so nice in the bath,” Alexia announced, addressing me in a theatrical, almost stage-play voice. I’m honestly so jealous she gets to wear clothes right now!
”…What is it, Alexia? What kind of pervert declaration is that?” I sighed, already defeated.
”I’m not a pervert, you know. I’m Shin-kun’s property,” Alexia stated with earnest finality.
”Alexia, you are not property. You are a very important person to me, Alexia,” I corrected gently.
”Sh-Shin-kun! blush Please save the proposal for four years from now, after we can get married,” Alexia stammered, covering her cheeks.
”…No, I wasn’t proposing. I was just letting you know that you are an important person to me,” I tried to clarify.
”Just wait for me, Shin-kun, I will grow up wonderfully and become the girl worthy of you, you know!” Alexia vowed, a sudden declaration of her intent to become a magnificent woman.
That’s wrong, Alexia! You need to go capture your lovely Heroines all over the world, do the Nya-Nya³, and get your happy ending! You absolutely must not follow the path of a doomed villainous heir like me, who only has a life of ‘Game Over’s’ waiting! No, no, no!
”I see. I will look forward to that, my important Alexia,” I replied, managing a tired smile.
”Yes, you will, my very, very important Shin-kun! HUG!“
Creak! Creak! Creak! Snap! Snap! Snap! A sickening sound of splintering wood and crunching bone filled the air.
”Ahaha. Ouch, ouch. Did my bones just get broken all over again? Ahahaha,” I laughed weakly through the pain.
…It just occurred to me now. Are there any other Heroines who could take Alexia’s killing Suplex-Hug and still survive?

”Well then. We’re going to head back to the Shalfarma Plateau for now, ya know. We’ll meet up with the Blasts there. Karentisia, are you coming with us, nyaa?” Silvia inquired.
”……” Karentisia remained silent, staring intently at Shin.
”Nya-nyaa?! What’s wrong, nyaa? You’re staring at Shin’s back! Karentisia, you must be, like, really into Shin, nyaa…” Silvia teased.
”Shut up, Silvia,” Karentisia snapped.
Crack! Karentisia stomped her foot down, the floor trembling slightly.
”Gyaah!! Why did you stomp on my foot all of a sudden, Karentisia!” Silvia yelped.
”It’s because Silvia touched Karentisia’s untouchable territory, you know. Silvia is just a simple idiot,” Alexia explained with a satisfied nod.
”That’s right. Silvia is an idiot… Why should I, a royal elf, have to associate with that loyal dog (Shin)? It’s insulting,” Karentisia scoffed, tossing her silver hair.
”But I didn’t, like, say anything about associating or dating, nyaa…” Silvia mumbled.
Crack! Another stomp, louder this time.
”Gyaah!!” Silvia shrieked.
”My cat companion has absolutely no learning ability,” Alexia sighed, shaking her head in disappointment.
Why does he look more relaxed and happier when he’s with Churidince than he ever did with me? My loyal dog (Shin)! Ugh, this feeling is making me irritable. Fine! On this trip, I’ll just have to teach that Stray Dog (Shin) that I am far more attractive than Churidince! Hmph!
”I don’t know where this is, but first, we need to find a village or a town. The two of you go home right now to tell your papa about this Lord Oberon business. I’m going back to the Alys Magic Academy,” Karentisia declared, taking charge.
”…But we’ve been telling you we’re going back in the first place, ya know,” Silvia pointed out exasperatedly.
”Love is making Karentisia clouded, nyaa!” Silvia exclaimed dramatically.

”The monsters I sent to attack last night were all wiped out? …What do you mean, there are no corpses left?” A cold voice muttered into the darkness.
… An abrupt silence.
”A thought transmission? …From the Witch? …Yes, I understand. I will bring it back, of course. The Sacred Artifact, ‘Fairy Festival Grimoire’, which is necessary for your resurrection.”
… Another pause.
”What? And I have to bring that evil scamp as well? Why? —The highest-grade vessel? …Understood. I will bring him without causing too much damage. The body that is perfect for your revival, my lady Witch.”
—Assassin Celia.

Summary:
Following a major battle, the heroines find a moment of strained peace in a magical safe zone. Karentisia, secretly flustered by a past incident, attempts to deny her growing interest in Shin, only to be hilariously called out by the observant cat-girl Silvia. Meanwhile, the earnest childhood friend Alexia is too affectionate, nearly crippling the unclad villainous heir Shin with her powerful hugs, all while making dramatic declarations of love. Amidst this comedic Isekai drama, the trio decides on their next steps—a return to their homelands. However, the scene cuts to the mysterious Assassin Celia, who confirms that Shin, the ‘evil scamp,’ is a target: the perfect ‘highest-grade vessel’ required for a powerful Witch’s resurrection, setting a dark and dangerous trajectory for the next chapter.

Character Insight:
Shin’s internal monologue reveals his mounting frustration and denial of his own harem situation. Despite his best efforts to stick to the game’s Yuri plot, his kindness and polite nature have drawn the heroines, including the jealous Karentisia, into his path. His current unclothed state is symbolic of his total vulnerability and loss of agency to the increasingly chaotic world around him. Alexia, conversely, is revealed to have a near-lethal level of devotion, a humorous but constant threat to the protagonist’s bones.
—
Behind the Scene:
This chapter is the aftermath of the fight with Oberon. Karentisia is hiding the details of the fight where Shin licked her back to get the Sacred Artifact, an event which has accelerated her Tsundere feelings for him. The core decisions about where the characters go next are made quickly and chaotically, showing the unscripted nature of their journey. The final scene introduces a critical antagonist/plot thread—the Assassin Celia and the Witch’s plan—which explains why the fight scene’s monster corpses vanished: a clean-up operation for the powerful resurrection artifact, the Fairy Festival Grimoire, and the pursuit of Shin as the perfect ‘vessel.’
