”If only their personalities changed, too… I wonder if it actually worked?”
Hirose observed the whole thing from the monitor room. On the other side of the screen, the five adventurers, completely unlike how they were just moments before, were now laughing and enjoying each other’s company.
—It was an experiment to see the Effect of simultaneously applying multiple Skills and having the Effect activate the instant the treatment finished.
Since he could set the number of treatments per floor, Hirose really wanted to see what the result would look like firsthand. That was why he’d used the adventurers who’d been destroying the dungeon as his test subjects and forced the treatment upon them.
The Boss-like woman had initially put up a fuss. But look at her now. Her comrades were praising her, and she seemed pretty pleased with herself. Meanwhile, her teammates were currently undergoing the ‘Breast Growth’ treatment, moaning in four separate treatment rooms.
”As far as I can see, the Effect seems to be activating properly,” Hirose observed.
”Yeah. With my Skill alone, I couldn’t do anything like this, but seeing it in person, it’s honestly nothing short of a cheat,” Koharu answered him.
”We gave Ecoa a fright, and I bet she’s interested in the Beauty Skills now, too. So, everything should be fine, right?” Hirose pondered,
”Should be. That Boss lady? She’s probably going to awaken to beauty soon, I think,” Koharu mused.
”In that case, maybe we don’t need to ban that party from entering anymore.” Hirose had been fully prepared to ban the Boss woman and her party. However, the surprising change in her personality revealed by the experiment made him decide to wait and see what would happen next.
”—Ah, I learned one.”
It was at that moment that Hirose felt the long-awaited sprout of a new Skill in his Gift.¹

The time was late May, just as the summer heat was starting to make its presence known. Even while running the Beauty Dungeon, making money, and providing treatments to adventurers, Hirose, a high school senior, continued to attend school, of course.
However, in his third year, Hirose had been separated into a different class from the friends he usually spent time with, meaning he had to start making friends from scratch. There were a few familiar faces, but they were mostly students he’d never really interacted with.
Despite his best efforts to blend in, the situation was impossible. Hibiki, Himari, and Kairi, the gal-style beauties; Koharu and Kirino, the demure beauties; even Asami, the angelic junior, and Aoi and her best friend Rio, the basketball beauties—they all came calling, visiting Hirose’s classroom multiple times.
There was no way he couldn’t stand out. Yet, neither the boys nor the girls in his class could figure out why Hirose was so close to all these stunning girls.
He wasn’t particularly athletic during P.E., and his grades were just average; he had no standout talents. He didn’t even catch the eye while just sitting in class… Sure, his skin was a bit clearer, and he looked slightly more handsome than he did in his second year, but there were definitely better-looking guys around.
Naturally, his new classmates started paying closer attention to this baffling situation.
”—Do you have a minute?”
Coming back from the restroom, he was stopped in the hallway by a girl with milk tea-colored long hair pulled back in a ponytail. She was one of the students the boys in the class considered cute.
”Oh, Hayase-san. Is something wrong?”
—Hayase Misaki. She was the class representative and a member of the tennis club.
”…Takanashi², are you using hypnotic jutsu or something? I’ve been thinking something was off for a while now.” Misaki stared straight at him, challenging his premise.
”Eh, no way…! I don’t have a Gift like that, and even if I did, I wouldn’t do something like that!” Hirose denied,
”…Yeah, I guess you don’t look like the type. But seriously, is it not weird to you that that many beautiful women call you out every single day? Think about it logically.” Misaki pressed, her curiosity overriding her manners.
”I feel like I’m being majorly dissed right now…” Hirose muttered, a self-deprecating smile plastered on his face.
”You are being dissed,” Misaki confirmed plainly.
Misaki was quite the straight-shooter. Rather than being mean-spirited, her personality was just straightforward; she simply said what was on her mind.
Hirose hadn’t really spoken to Misaki until now; this was actually the very first time they’d had a proper one-on-one conversation.
”Haha, you’re very straightforward,” Hirose commented.
”Well, whatever. I just wanted to make sure you weren’t doing anything suspicious, Takanashi.” Misaki shrugged.
”I see…” Hirose trailed off.
”See ya.”
Still looking dubious, Misaki finally let Hirose go. It was just then that it happened.
”Ow!” she yelped, suddenly starting to fall.
”Hayase-san!?” Hirose instinctively yelled. He instantly reached out to catch her, but all he could manage was to slip his hands beneath her bottom to cushion the fall so she wouldn’t get hurt.
This was not the time to be contemplating the feeling of her rear end. Her weight came crashing down on him, and it hurt, plain and simple.
However, there was an even bigger problem. As she fell, Misaki’s uniform skirt hiked up slightly.
”Ah, thank you… but… did you look?” she asked, a blush creeping onto her neck.
”Um… Look at what, exactly…?” Hirose stammered, avoiding her eyes.
Visible from beneath her skirt was her white thigh. And close to where her leg met her hip, there was a large mole— the secret detail of Hayase Misaki.

Summary:
Hirose wraps up the dungeon arc with a new skill, feeling the effects of his Gift leak into his high school life. The new class rep, the sharp-tongued Misaki, confronts him about the constant beautiful girl traffic he draws. She initially appears in black ceremonial robes, which instantly transform into a revealing, classic black maid uniform. Her existence was previously undetectable by ‘Appraisal’ Gifts. Her sole purpose is to serve and support the Dungeon Master, Hirose.
• Kirino – Strikingly beautiful with blue long hair (F, 168cm), Kirino is gifted with ice magic and feels isolated because of her appearance. Hirose’s Beauty skill helps her improve her self-image and social comfort, directly affecting Kirino’s relationship with her family and classmates.
• Rio – A member of the Beauty Committee who previously worked with Hirose and already holds a negative opinion of him, seeing him as a ‘playboy.’ She has short dark hair and is dressed neatly in her school uniform. She is Aoi’s friend and is currently determined to ‘rescue’ her.
• Hayase Misaki – The class representative and a member of the tennis club. Misaki is known for being outspoken and blunt, preferring to say exactly what she thinks. Have a milk tea colored long hair ponytail, and a large, conspicuous mole near her left inner thigh.
