Volume 13 Chapter 347 Agewa, The Black Butterfly, and the Black Butterfly’s Curse
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
Today was the first day in a long time I was going to eat with Kujaku. After finishing my work as a Congresswoman, I took a taxi to the restaurant where we had planned to meet. There had been some unexpected trouble, so I might be a little late for our appointment. I quickly contacted Kujaku to let him know I’d be delayed a bit.
”For now, that’s done,” I mused.
I pressed my face against the taxi window, staring out at the night’s town streets. The view from here had changed drastically over the past year. I found myself smiling naturally as I spotted married couples walking down the road, a young man happily chatting with a group of women, and a mother (okaa-san¹) with her son.
The social landscape had been ravaged by the ‘men’s turning into herbivores and fasting’ trend. The mass rapes, kidnappings, and confinement incidents caused by a few out-of-control women, consumed by their sexual desires, had led men to retreat into becoming hikikomori², drastically reducing contact with women. Even after several more years, the men who hadn’t withdrawn became arrogant, using their gender as a shield, which only widened the gulf between the sexes. However, this agonizing problem that had plagued us for so long dramatically improved because of the appearance of a single young man.
Shirogane Aqua.
Appearing like a comet in this country—no, this world—he changed the consciousness of not only women but men as well. He had a set of values different from those of ordinary men; a profound lack of common sense, which seemed impossible for someone who had grown up in this dark age of Japan. He was like a foreign prince descending from the cosmos to this Earth.
”Heh-heh,” I chuckled.
I couldn’t help but laugh, recalling a national TV program I had watched yesterday. The discussion show that Morikawa was hosting the day before, debating whether Aqua-kun might actually be an alien, was so amusing.
’Now, let me introduce today’s guests! Missus Emily, a paranormal researcher who studies Shirogane Aqua’s mysteries! The Honorary Editor-in-Chief of Otome no Tashinami³, a specialized magazine covering the occult phenomena caused by Shirogane Aqua! Also joining us is Professor Kohina Yukari, a specially appointed professor from Mary Women’s University, who teaches a department dedicated to the physical proof of Shirogane Aqua’s actions! And finally, our very own Prime Minister of Japan, Habu Chiyoko! These five—including myself, Morikawa Kaede, the director of the Hogewave Research Institute that specializes in the Hoge-lar Wave—will engage in a fierce debate live from the national TV studio!’
Heh-heh-heh, just the memory of it makes me want to burst out laughing. Especially since Aqua-kun himself came out afterward and said with a straight face, “I might actually be an alien, you know?” which led to Kohina Yukari snapping, “You fool, they won’t understand a joke! You’ve got to stop being such an idiot! You big dummy!”
As I was lost in my nostalgic laughter, the taxi pulled up right in front of the restaurant where I was meeting Kujaku.
”Sorry, did you wait long?” I asked.
”No… I just arrived a little while ago,” Kujaku replied, with his typical reserved coolness.
But just the fact that he answered me properly made me so happy. Besides, Kujaku is a boy his age, after all. It must be a little embarrassing to have dinner with his mother—even if it’s only by association.
”Speaking of which, I saw you on TV with Yamada-kun the other day. I watched it,” I offered, trying to start a conversation, as I always do with Kujaku.
”…Yeah,” he confirmed.
”How is living with Yamada-kun? Is there anything you’re struggling with?”
”…Not really,” he said briefly.
Kujaku was a man of few words, but I was happy just to see him look at me and answer. After we ate the food that was brought to the table, a brief silence fell. Kujaku stopped eating and looked intently at my face.
”…You seem busy again lately. You’re not overdoing it, are you?” he asked, his voice laced with concern.
”Eh?” I couldn’t help but look surprised.
Kujaku… he’s worried about someone like me! I put down my fork and knife and stopped eating.

”I’m fine. It’s true that I’m busy, but I’m being careful not to push myself, because I’d only trouble everyone if I collapsed.”
The kindness of Kujaku’s concern made me beam with a full, unreserved smile. Seeing that, Kujaku abruptly turned his face away from me.
”I see… then that’s good,” he muttered.
S-Sorry. It’s probably not right for an old lady over thirty to get so excited about something like that… Kujaku, who had turned his face away, glanced back at my downcast expression.
”W-Well, as long as Agewa is having fun, that’s all that matters. More importantly, how’s your life there? Are you… truly happy?” he asked, sounding slightly awkward.
”Yes, I am happy,” I replied, nodding with a bright smile.
Life in the Shirogane Kingdom is a little hectic, but it’s a place where I can truly relax. It’s a time when I can revert to just Kokucho Agewa, not Congresswoman Kokucho Agewa. Having that time allows me to refresh and work even harder as a politician.
”Kujaku… are you happy with your life now?”
”…Yeah, I’m happy,” he confessed.
He turned his face back toward me and nodded with a genuine smile. Seeing that made me happy. I never imagined a year ago that I would be able to have such a pleasant conversation with Kujaku. I should have been captured and punished by now, but there was a prince who forcefully changed that future, and because of him, I… Even while chatting with Kujaku, the memory of Aqua-kun back then made my face flush. Kujaku noticed my blush and smiled gently.
”Hmph, speaking of which, being an idol has taught me something. The man Shirogane Aqua truly is a born idol. That’s why I know I can never be like him,” he confessed with a sigh.
”Kujaku-kun…”
Is he… feeling down? Should I try to encourage him? As I was considering this, Kujaku shook his head.
”Sorry, I worded that badly. It’s not that I want to quit being an idol. I have fans, even someone like me, and I’ll try to do my best. Besides, even if I can’t become Shirogane Aqua, there might be things only I, as an idol, can do,” he mused.
I was delighted to see the positive expression on Kujaku’s face. He looked at me with gentle eyes and, sounding slightly pleased, started talking again on his own.
”When I think about it that way, he… Maruo is an incredible guy. I’d never say this to him, but he saw Shirogane Aqua firsthand and still hasn’t given up on trying to reach his level. And Shintaro too. He’s actively trying to get closer to Shirogane Aqua. Those are both things I can’t do.”
Seeing Kujaku praise his two friends so happily, almost as if he were praising himself, made me even more joyful. He says he can’t be like Aqua-kun, but the way he truly sees everyone and can sincerely compliment them is just like Aqua-kun. Although there was a bit of distance at first, our conversation began to flow smoothly from there.
”Oh, look at the time. We should probably wrap this up. I have an early filming session, so I need to get some sleep,” he announced.
”Ah, okay,” I sighed.
It was disappointing, but I knew I couldn’t complain. I was surprised when Aqua-kun told me that the filming for Driver starts as early as four or five in the morning. Speaking of which, Aqua-kun mentioned he had a five a.m. shoot a while ago and headed out. Perhaps it’s a Driver special drama or something? I allowed a small spark of hope to grow in my chest.
After paying the bill and leaving the restaurant, I faced Kujaku.
”T-Thank you for today, Kujaku-kun. I had a lot of fun,” I told him softly.
”No, I should thank you. It was good to talk with you, Agewa, after a month.”
We had both been busy, but we promised to have dinner at least once a month. No, wait, it was Aqua-kun who decided we should do that on his own. Thanks to him, I get to see Kujaku every month like this.
”Next time… next month. With Christmas coming up, I’ll prepare a present for you,” he offered.
I’m so happy… I never imagined I’d receive a Christmas present from Kujaku.
”Well then…”
Noticing something, Kujaku averted his gaze from me. I followed his line of sight and turned my head in the direction he was looking.
”Hah… hah… I finally… found you…”
Seeing the unusual condition of the young woman, I instinctively stepped forward to shield Kujaku. I thought perhaps she was one of the Black Butterfly remnants who was targeting me.
”You’re Kokuchō Kujaku-kun… right?” she stammered.
At her words, Kujaku stepped in front of me to shield me.
”W-Wait! Kujaku-kun, it’s dangerous! Get behind me immediately!”
”No, Agewa, you should be behind me…”
While we were arguing, the girl swayed and stumbled closer to us. The next moment, she plunged her hand into her bag, grabbed something, and held it out to us. D-Dangerous! Wait, what? Is that… Kujaku’s pass case?!
”T-Th-Th-This… you… you dropped this…” she mumbled, struggling for breath.
She was just a good kid after all! I’m so sorry for jumping to conclusions! Kujaku and I thanked the girl who had returned his lost item again and again.
”I’m so sorry. I… I have a cold today and feel unwell. And I was running to find you, so I must look terrible right now, right…?”
W-Wow! Are you okay?! I embraced the girl and used my hand to check the temperature of her forehead. It’s hot… We might need to take her to the hospital.
”Agewa, you can go home first. I’ll take this girl to the hospital,” Kujaku declared.
”Eh? But…”
When I hesitated, Kujaku looked at me and smiled.
”Don’t worry. I’ll be fine. Besides, I can’t just leave a girl who tried so hard for me like this. Maruo would never let me live it down. And as a Driver, you have to help people in need, right?”
”Kujaku-kun… I understand,” I murmured.
He has become so strong. Despite the painful childhood memories that gave him a real fear of women, he is trying to overcome it and step forward. Seeing Kujaku like this made me happy as a mother.
Kujaku flagged down a taxi, helped the girl get in first, and then turned his face toward me.
”Agewa… I’m okay now. So, shouldn’t you start thinking about your own happiness?” he asked.
My happiness…? It feels too luxurious for me to ask for anything more. After all, I’m already happy enough.
”Agewa will probably say that’s not true, but by becoming my mother, I took away your precious time. You had no responsibility, yet you sacrificed your important teens and twenties—a crucial time for any woman—because of me.”
”That’s not true! It’s absolutely not true!” I insisted.
Kujaku cut off my words and continued.
”If you feel that way, then for my sake, become even happier than you are now. I think he… Shirogane Aqua, will definitely be able to fill the gap of the girl’s time that you lost.”
”Kujaku-kun…” I squeezed my hands tightly in front of my chest.
Kujaku saw this and gave a slight laugh.
”Agewa, I’m okay now. You might still think I’m a kid, but I’m not alone anymore. I have trusted friends, comrades who inspire me, and a senior I respect. And even though he’s a little unreliable, I have Maruo, too. So, you just think about your own happiness now.”
”My happiness…” I repeated softly.
I’m already happy enough. Is it truly okay to become even more happy? Wouldn’t that be too greedy? Kujaku smiled, seeing my conflicted expression.
”Be happy, Agewa. No, let’s both be happy, Agewa. We don’t have to be bound by the past anymore. The guillotine that hung over your neck has already been caught and destroyed by that man with his bare hands.”
Hearing Kujaku’s words, I suddenly realized something. You’re right… if Kujaku is ready to move forward, I can’t keep dwelling on the past. Kujaku saw the change in my expression, closed the taxi door, and slightly rolled down the window.
”However, I refuse to call him ‘Papa.’ If anything, I’m older than him, so make sure you tell him that,” he warned.
With that, Kujaku closed the taxi window and headed off to take the girl to the hospital.
Happiness, huh?
I kept thinking about it even after I got home. What does it mean to be happy? I’m already happy enough, so is there really more happiness out there?
Images of Emily’s wedding (konshiki⁴) and all the girls with big, pregnant bellies popped into my head.
…Getting married to the person you love, having children with the person you love… is that truly happiness?
”Agewa-san.”
Aqua-kun’s voice made me gasp. Oh, right. It was my turn next.
”Ah!”
Aqua-kun embraced me tightly and firmly, and his passionate embrace melted my rigid heart and body. As our lips slowly parted, Aqua-kun looked into my eyes and slowly spoke.
”How was that? Do you feel a little more at ease?”
I blushed intensely, embarrassed by Aqua-kun’s words. M-My unsteady heart was completely seen through by a younger man.
”Agewa-san. I may be younger than you, but I’m not the kind of man who would use age as an excuse to avoid holding your anxiety,” he confessed with confidence.
Aqua-kun gave me a little, soft kiss on the cheek.
”So, don’t you use your age as an excuse either, Agewa-san. Got it?”
”Y-Yes…”
Ugh. It’s a total lie that he’s younger than me. Or is it that, unlike me, who never did anything in her youth, Aqua-kun is just too experienced in romance that he can say things like this?
”Ah!”
I was so embarrassed! Right in front of a mirror! I tried to cover my slightly soft body with both hands. Ugh, I want to cover my face too, but I don’t have enough hands!
”Agewa-san, look closely,” Aqua-kun commanded.
He placed a soft kiss on my temple. Ugh, it’s unfair that he gives me a kiss every time he gives me an order!
”Your body, Agewa-san, is so beautiful,” he complimented.
I became even more embarrassed looking at my slightly mature chest and buttocks. Compared to Emily and Kukuri, how is this beautiful?!
”That’s a lie.”
”It’s not a lie. Come on, look.”
Gasp! My face flushed even more as I looked at Aqua-kun’s erect member. Just looking at the prominent veins and the way it was curving made my core grow hot.
”You can’t say you’re not beautiful when you’ve made me this hard,” he teased.
Aqua-kun pushed his large organ hard against my abdomen. N-No, stop! If you do that through my stomach, my womb will clench with pleasure!
”And your face, too. Here, look closely.”
I quickly averted my eyes from my reflection in the mirror, overcome by embarrassment.
”You might not have confidence, Agewa-san, but I’m confident that I love your face more than anyone else in this world,” he confessed.
Aqua-kun repeatedly kissed my head through my hair. Ugh, when you say such straightforward things, how can I even deny them?
”Even though I’m this much of an old lady?”
”Agewa-san… A woman in her early thirties is not an old lady; she’s an older sister. If you get that wrong, the Shirogane Aqua Police will come flying in a patrol car exceeding the speed limit,” he warned playfully.
But you’re the only one who says things like that, Aqua-kun! And what is the Shirogane Aqua Police?! If Aqua-kun were a police officer, the world would be in chaos in so many ways!
”Mmm.” Aqua-kun claimed my lips once more.
Nnngh, wait. Are you… are you going to enter me right now…? Aqua-kun then slipped into me in front of the mirror, as if to show me our reflection.
”There, Agewa-san. Look closely. Look at the face of Agewa-san being loved by me,” he murmured.
My face turned beet red at Aqua-kun’s words. Being loved… that’s so… embarrassing. Seeing myself being desired as a woman made a lot of slickness come out of my intimate part.
”Ah, ah, ah.”
A sweet sound that I knew sounded incredibly vulnerable escaped my throat. I had called myself an old lady moments ago, but I was embarrassed to see myself making such a sweet, high-pitched, kitten-like sound, begging to be loved like a young girl.
”Fwah…”
My head was flowing with pleasure, and I let out a sound of complete surrender. Ah… incredible. My deepest part is receiving the warm fluid from his release. Aqua-kun’s potent fluid filled me.
”Nnnngh!”
It wasn’t just my voice—my body, my very core, was begging to be loved by Aqua-kun. Every time Aqua-kun thrust, I clung to him, my flesh rubbing against his skin.
”Mnnngh!”
Again, a second dose of his hot fluid filled me… Aqua-kun lifted one of my legs, showing our intimate connection (Yuigō⁵) in the mirror.
”Ah…”
Even though he had finished his second release, Aqua-kun immediately began thrusting again, seeking my body. A-A-Ah, this is what Emily called the ‘sex to make her understand’ (wakarase⁶ sex). I realized this was the act intended to make me understand just how much Aqua-kun loved me, and how much he wanted me.
I don’t know how long I was loved for after that. In the end, I was utterly melted and, in my hazy state, I said something outrageous to Aqua-kun.
”Aqua-kun, are you sure I’m enough for you?”
”Of course, Agewa-san. I’ll do anything to make Agewa-san happy,” he promised.
Really…? W-Well then, even though I’m thirty-two, would it be okay if we had a school uniform date? And maybe, some play in a classroom-like setting. And perhaps even a swimming pool… A-Also, since we’re talking about it, I’d really like to wear a wedding dress, too.
”Is that a costume? I want Agewa to wear a real wedding dress, though.”
Ugh, it’s unfair that you suddenly switch to calling me by my first name! Especially when you’re doing a sweet, gentle thrusting motion and giving me a simple, childish peck on the lips!
”Y-Yes… I want to wear a real one, too,” I agreed.
”You understand what that means, right?”
Uuuuuugh, Aqua-kun is a cheat. Cornered and forced into a promise, I silently nodded at Aqua-kun’s question.
”A-Agewa-san!?”
I immediately rolled Aqua-kun onto his back, straddled him, and began moving my hips myself. T-Take that! I’m going to get pregnant, too! I’m the Minister in charge of making babies after all! I continued to move my hips on top of Aqua-kun until my energy was completely spent.
The next day.
Upon arriving at the National Diet (Parliament), I saw familiar faces lined up outside with deadly serious expressions.
”As expected of Congresswoman Kokucho! I am deeply moved!”
All the Congresswomen, including the Prime Minister, were waving the Japanese flag (Hinomaru) and wearing Hinomaru headbands (Hachimaki) as they wept and greeted me.
”I want to wear a school uniform and go on a date with Aqua-kun, too!”
”Yeah, yeah!”
”Congresswoman Kokucho is amazing!”
”I’m so jealous! Be happy!”
”It was so great that you endured and didn’t give in to the ‘ne’!”
Mooom! Who do you think told the Prime Minister and everyone else about the exchange between Aqua-kun and me? It had to be Emily again! When I get back, I’m going to tell Kanon, Kotono, and Kukuri on you!

BONUS
Maron: “…(Oh no. It’s my turn next, and all I’ve been thinking about is having s*x. W-What should I do?)”
Inko: “As expected! Our Minister of Eroticism is a pervert on a different dimension!”
Kaede: “That’s my Maron! Just press forward with pure power! Power will solve everything!”
Iria: “That’s right, Maron! Power! You have to use your erotic power to overwhelm the situation!”
Yukari: “They really are all idiots!”
—
Summary:
Congresswoman Agewa reflects on the changing world and her past as she meets Kujaku, who encourages her to prioritize her own happiness. The emotional weight of Kujaku’s blessing is too much, so Aqua steps in, showering Agewa with intense physical and verbal reassurance to destroy her age-related insecurities. This intimate, passionate display leads to a private promise and a very public, embarrassing reveal by Emily to the entire government.
—
Character Insight:
Agewa’s journey from a burdened politician to a woman seeking personal happiness is at the forefront. Kujaku, showing emotional maturity, actively pushes his mother figure toward fulfillment, demonstrating his own healing. Aqua’s entire motivation is to affirm Agewa’s beauty and worth, using overwhelming devotion to combat her self-doubt.
—
Behind the Scene:
The setting of the story is a reversed-gender-ratio world where a male idol, Shirogane Aqua, has become a messianic figure. Agewa’s past involves a ‘curse’ (Kokucho’s Jubaku), referencing her troubled former life and guilt, which Aqua’s presence is actively dismantling. The final scene’s absurdity of the entire government knowing intimate details is a running gag, pointing to Emily’s mischievous nature.
