Chapter 75 Ami-chan’s Character and World Overview The Quest for Ego Points

Yay! My Domain is finally getting on track, isn’t it~!
So, here’s a quick and easy rundown of the people and a few of the terms that have popped up so far!

It turns out this place is more dangerous than I first thought. That Shou, the one I picked, managed to survive here thanks entirely to me, but it’s still true that he was incredibly lucky.
Some areas seem to be filled with miasma, too. While demon monsters pop up quite a bit around the Domain, for now, the only ones who can truly fight them head-on are the Magic Girls!

He’s the Dominator〈Quester〉 that I found! Since the previous Quester was a bit of a flop, I was actually super careful when picking the candidates this time.
And in that regard, Shou is a total prodigy! His twisted ego doesn’t even fade when he lets his desires run wild—in fact, he can efficiently stockpile Ego Points because of it! He’s a truly rare find!
He also gets incredibly wrapped up in his own ideas, so his ego just keeps getting darker and murkier all by itself, without me even having to do anything… it’s just great!
I have high hopes for him as a Dominator〈Quester〉, but since I made the Domain far from any towns, the big challenge is that we haven’t been able to increase the number of Magic Girls much.
I thought expanding the Domain would be difficult, too… but Shou can travel between here and Japan, and after a whole lot of stuff happened, he finally figured out how to make a living by cheating the system!

The memorable first Magic Girl! She’s the former princess of the Emmeld Kingdom!
She usually ties her blonde hair back at the nape of her neck, and the way she wields her sword is just like a real Princess Knight¹! That’s the vibe she gives off, anyway.
The sword she holds is the sacred blade, 〈Miseric〉. It has a secret jewel embedded in it, and Cleonora seems able to draw out its special ability. Apparently, she can move super-fast with it.

Cleonora’s younger sister and the second Magic Girl! She’s family, but her blonde hair is a different shade than her sister’s!
Her bangs are a little on the straight-cut side, and her hair flows straight down to her waist. She has one lock of hair on the left side that’s braided from the top of her head down to her chest.
After a series of unfortunate events, she can’t move her legs. How tragic…
She seems to have the talent of a sorcery master²! Though I’m still not entirely sure what a sorcery master means in this world.

There are eight in total now! Only three of them have a class.
Once they manifest, they constantly consume Resource Points to maintain their existence. Also, outside the Domain, they vanish in a few seconds.
Unique individuals are the exception, but whether a unique one manifests is all up to the gacha roll³ luck, you know!

They are my pride and joy, my gorgeous, lethal—Magic Girls! Unlike the Maids, they don’t have a maintenance cost and can grow stronger.
They use Ego Points when they transform. If they take too much damage or lose consciousness, the transformation is forcefully canceled.
They need their Magic Power to recover to full capacity before they can transform again.
The recovery speed and maximum Magic Power vary from person to person. However, by taking the Quester’s life essence into their bodies, they can rapidly recover Magic Power and even increase their maximum capacity! We just have to keep doing it a lot!
By default, they can all fly and create barriers. Unless you have guided weapons or wide-range attacks, it’s virtually impossible to target a Magic Girl flying through the sky from a distance.

This is the country where the Heroes were summoned! Speaking of which, I used their summoning circle and Magic Power to save Shou from drowning.
It seems to be a country that made huge progress in the study of sorcery⁴, and it used to be a big deal a long time ago.
Now, it’s riddled with corruption and actively at war with the Empire. Thanks to the Heroes’ efforts, the Empire’s movements seem to have been halted, though.

She’s the Princess of the Emmeld Kingdom! Since the King is ill, she’s essentially the one in charge.
To Cleonora and Liliarette, she’s the cold-hearted woman who framed them… but things like this look different depending on whose shoes you’re standing in, you know~.
She seems eager to stabilize the domestic situation before the Empire makes its next move.

They’ve gotten used to the new world and are being given special treatment, so it seems they’re having a pretty good time.
Lately, they’re even acting like, “This is our youth!”
* [Mond]
He’s the Commander of the First Knight Order! That First Knight Order is apparently an elite group filled with members of prestigious noble families.
* [Gaitzio]
He’s the Prime Minister. His stomach is huge! Apparently, he stress-eats a lot.
* [Barnail]
He’s the only person in the Emmeld Kingdom who can ride the Demon Bird Skygoon⁵.
I’m a little wary of him, actually. If the Domain continues to develop, he’d be the first person to discover us.
* [Alvia]
She’s the leader of the White Lily Knights, an order sworn to Viorga! There are 40 of them in total, and they’re all nobles.
They aren’t a regular Knight Order; they seem to be Viorga’s private army.
Right now, they’re searching for Cleonora’s belongings near the entrance to the Demon Forest… but they definitely won’t reach the Domain!
* [Egdia Empire]
The country at war with the Emmeld Kingdom! It seems to be ruled by Beastmen⁶!
The status of humans is low here, apparently. Compared to the Kingdom, it seems to have a much larger territory.
* [Shaitaru Grand Republic]
This country borders the south of the Demon Forest! It seems to be run by a King, nobles, and Councilors who represent the common people.
It was originally several small countries that were reorganized into a republic after various events.
Because of this history, some merchants have gained enough influence to get involved in politics.
Merchants also seem to have a high status. That’s why their logistics are more developed than in other countries, and their economic power is high, too.
* [Holy Capital Ragnarond]
This name has popped up a few times from Liliarette! I don’t know much about it, but they apparently have the technology to make white sugar.
Oh, and what was it… are they the only country that can create the Secret Jewels⁷? It’s a capital, not a country, so… I still don’t know much about it.

Brief Introduction to the Japanese Cast
- Seikyo High School
* Morisaki: A public servant. He introduced Shou to his part-time job.
* Kyoya: Looks like a handsome, high-flying, elite salaryman from a trading company.
* Yuri: A mother of two.
* Yasu: He just had a baby recently.
* Shinya: A real estate salesman. In high school, he used to get chalk flicked at his forehead.

* The Manager and the High School Girl: They are doing well.
* Matagi Kengo: The handsome, suit-wearing womanizer! He has a fiancée but has an uncanny nose for spotting women he can get with right away.
Speaking of which, he was hit with Shou’s curse… I wonder if it’s still in effect?
* Shiraki Haruka: The Kendo Club girl who was fooling around with the handsome, womanizing suit in the changing room! Shou got to enjoy the best part of that.
She was certainly brought to a strong climax, so I’m sure her body was satisfied!
* Miyakuji Reika (みやくじ れいか): The Kendo girl who is the handsome, womanizing suit’s fiancée!
She looks like a super-pure, well-bred lady who excels in both academics and sports… but her heart is still afflicted by a sickness she caught back in her second year of middle school.

* Shou’s younger brother: Works in marketing for a foreign-affiliated pharmaceutical manufacturer.
* Miyako: Shou’s childhood friend and his younger brother’s wife! Her husband makes good money, so she’s a stay-at-home mother dedicated to raising their child.
* Kiraurumi A. Armelda: She’s a half-Japanese girl who looks completely foreign! She’s a very ordinary girl who always carries NN churulu (a cat treat)⁸ and tube wasabi with her.
