Chapter 124 Men and Women Becoming Accustomed to Another World

At first, the confusion was overwhelming. But after Princess Viorga¹ took us around and showed us the miserable sights of people suffering under the Demon Lord Army³, my desire to help grew strong.
The Demon Lord Army… apparently their official name is the Imperial Army of the Egdia Empire. The Empire is a nation where beastmen reign at the top, and it seems humans are treated as slaves there.
The Emmeld Kingdom is a human-centric country. They said the Demon Lord Army started a war to increase the number of slaves.
Fundamentally, humans are inferior to beastmen in muscular strength. This difference in physical ability affects the quality of the troops, and supposedly no country until now could stand against the Empire.
However, we had the power to overwhelm such a Demon Lord Army. Through our first actual battles, I feel we’ve grown both mentally and physically.
Takuto in particular has shown incredible performance. Thanks to his achievements in reclaiming kingdom territories taken by the Demon Lord Army, he was even promoted to the rank of a Kingdom Noble.

Mond-san is the Knight Order Commander of the First Knights. Among the knights, he is the closest to us Heroes. When we invaded the Demon Lord Army’s base, we were with his knight order.
”Egrest… I’ve heard that name. Wasn’t the head of the opposition faction to Princess Viorga named something like that?” I recalled.

She is imprisoned in the East Tower and is being used as a political and monetary pawn by Viorga. C-cup, true golden hair, waist-length hair, the fringe was a slightly blunt, hair on her left side was braided to the chest.
• Mond – The grizzled, mature Commander of the First Knight Order. He has a thick, streaked beard and a powerful, armored build. He is utterly loyal to the Emmeld royal family, specifically the Princess Viorga, and handles the practical military matters of the court. Looks like Doranbolt from certain series.
