Not long after that, Tania and the others departed for the northern battlefield. It happened in the blink of an eye; they were gone within two or three days, operating under the mindset that the sooner they left, the better.
The final night was incredibly intense. Laika wouldn’t pull her face away from my crotch, Satsuki kept seeking kisses and wouldn’t let go, and Tania stayed pressed tightly against my back.
By morning, however, they had returned to their usual selves, waving goodbye with smiles on their faces. It’s incredibly lonely, but as we discussed, the only thing I can do is protect the place they call home while praying for their safety.
The first thing I did was contact Aerith from the Garou Merchant Guild¹ and Lady Tina Badcage², who have been cooperating with our shop.

He’s always like this, so I don’t find myself thinking, ‘Why is this guy grinning while people are suffering?’ I’ve simply grown used to it by now.
”Exactly. As a shop, we would like to request that Canarias Convent⁶ handle product production,” I said.
”Heh, of course, it’s an ‘okay’ from me. In fact, I was hoping to ask for this ourselves. To think you’d bring the proposal to us!” the Archbishop said.

”Er, can I leave the technical instruction to you, Sister Amelia?” the Archbishop asked.
”Yes. I will handle the instruction for ‘Holy Hardening Magic’¹³, which reproduces ‘Hardening Magic’¹² through a ‘Divine Miracle.’ However, I believe Kento-san will need to handle things like quality inspection,” Amelia replied.
”Ah, I see. Kento-kun, can we ask for this instruction for free?” the Archbishop asked.
”Yes, this is an emergency, so our shop will consider this a learning experience,” I said.
Even if he hadn’t said it, I wasn’t planning on taking money, but he’s a shrewd old man. I’ll have to be away from the shop, and it’s unpaid work, but since inspection is the lifeline of our shop—I’ll just have to accept it. The Archbishop was smirking as usual. I thought this part would be the problem. Until now, Satsuki’s salary was paid by the Royal Palace, and we only had to cover Tania and Laika’s wages. Now, this would hit us as an outsourcing fee.
I was bracing myself, thinking if he tried to rip me off too much, I’d somehow contact the Saint and have her scold him…
”For the portion delivered to us, you don’t have to pay a fee this time. In exchange, could you wholesale a bit more product to us? We’ll take our profits from that as we see fit,” the Archbishop said.
”Huh? No, that’s a bit…” I stammered.

He has a minimal amount of magic power, enough to craft his specialty items.
• Marian – A ‘Mother’ and supervisor from the Church of Demon-Subjugation. Her appearance and demeanor defy the Church’s purported ‘chastity,’ instead she has wavy purple long hair, busty, black nun, tear mole under eye, and monroe walk. She has arrived with a clear purpose: to confront Kento about the ‘Devil’s Stick.
