Chapter 203 The New Unique Individual Descends—The Fifth One

It was just about time for lunch when it happened.

It felt a bit late for that. Up until now, Ami-chan had been meticulously converting any waste generated within the territory into Resource Points, but…

Ami-chan explained how versatile this bin was. As long as it was a box-like shape, the size and form were completely customizable. Anything tossed inside would be automatically processed into Resource Points.
In short, it would take the load off Ami-chan. She’d been acting as our local ‘mobile waste disposal unit’ until now.
”I see… if we place a few of these in the plantation, we can instantly turn the harvest into Resource Points.”
I might want to make a few of them oversized. However, much like the latrine pit, the initial creation cost a fair amount of RP.
”Let’s start with a small sample to see if there are any hidden catches…”
Like with skills, there’s a lot you don’t realize until you actually use it. Speaking of skills, the Thunder Tremor Sword had turned out to have a terrifying amount of power. In terms of pure, single-hit destructive force, it’s probably the strongest tool in my kit.
”Oh, right. Since I won’t be heading back to Japan for a while…”

Plus, even though she’d been looking absolutely wrecked, just staring at that high-leg Magic Knight, Shinya Kanade-chan, must have racked up some points. The angle of her crotch and the curve of her butt were truly magnificent…
Ego Points are also consumed when a Magical Girl transforms. But now, I can accumulate points just by sitting here and watching the naked female knights trapped in the basement. They’ll probably be lining up their asses to eat their slop again at lunch.
When you think about it, that underground detention facility is functioning as a perfect Ego Point farm…
With that in mind, I activated the Dominator skill Manifestation Fixation while having Ami-chan dump every last Ego Point we had into it, guaranteeing a Unique manifestation.

Sparks danced before my eyes. Now, the fifth Unique Individual…!
”……Eh?”
If I had to describe it, it looked like a black flame. No… it only looked like it was flickering like a fire; it wasn’t actually burning. It wasn’t even hot.
”Wh-what is this…?”
No physical form? It felt like a constant, shimmering black haze. This… this was a total mystery…!?
”Hmm… for now, let’s just try granting it a class.”
”You’re being pretty casual about this… but fine. Ahem… ‘As the Dominator Quester, I bestow a class upon thee…’~”
I was deeply confused, but since Ami-chan was acting like this was business as usual, I followed suit. As it turned out, the black mist was indeed the Unique Individual, and its status screen flickered into view.

This was another one with a status I couldn’t make heads or tails of…! I mean, there’s barely any data!?
The Magic Power seemed insane, though. Come to think of it, Ami-chan did mention ‘dedicated classes.’ When Grantula manifested, he had a unique one too. Grantula’s class was Archduke of Phantom Dreams… I wonder if non-humanoids always get those ‘Archduke’ titles. Well, I suppose that depends on the Quester.
The black haze began to shrink, eventually coalescing into a humanoid shape. I say humanoid, but it was still just mist—a person-shaped shadow of smoke.
I jumped when a voice suddenly echoed from within the mist.
”Tis an honor to meet thee, my Lord. This one is named Figaro. I have made haste to present myself before you.’
”A-ah. Right. Good to meet you…”
What a deep, dignified voice…! Where was it even coming from!?
”Heh~, the non-physical type, huh? This is the first time I’ve seen a Unique Individual like this too!~”
’Indeed. Having no physical form, my shape is quite malleable. My voice, too, I can adjust from the deepest bass to the highest soprano as I please.’
”Wait, really!? That’s amazing…”
Apparently, he was speaking in that deep, baritone tone just to be heard clearly. To be able to manipulate his voice so freely… as I suspected, he probably isn’t using vocal cords.
”Wait…!? Figaro, does this mean… you can act outside the territory!?”
Ami-chan blurted out something incredible.
Wait…!? I thought Unique Individuals had to be female-types to function outside the territory? Because… well… if they don’t have holes, we can’t have s*x.
’You are perceptive. Indeed. While I have no physical body and am neither man nor woman, it is for that very reason that I can assimilate my essence with Resource Points.’
I didn’t quite grasp it, but because he’s immaterial, he can merge with Resource Points and cross the boundary. Still… a bit over my head.

Once outside, the black color would eventually fade, returning to clear water, because there’s no supply of Resource Points to sustain it. On the other hand, Vectra-san and the others don’t assimilate with Resource Points. For them, it’s like food—a fuel they consume to keep their bodies moving. And s*x with me acts like a ‘time-release’ coating for that energy.
”So, by merging his formless body with Resource Points, Figaro can operate independently outside the territory for a limited time…?”
”Exactly! Depending on how we play it, he could be an incredibly powerful card in our hand!~”
Phew… so ‘non-physical’ is the key here.
’However, if I remain in this state, it may prove unsettling for you, my Lords. If it pleases you, provide me with a suit of armor to serve as my “skin,” and I shall inhabit it.’
”Oh, really…? In that case…”
I used some spare RP to craft a set of full-plate knight’s armor. When I’d scrapped the female knights’ gear, I’d unlocked the ability to manifest several types of armor.
The black mist swirled into the hollow suit of plate. Slowly, the armor stood up.
”Whoa… incredible. It’s hollow inside, right?”
’My essence resides within, but yes—should you strike it, it will ring as hollow as an empty drum.’
Apparently, Figaro is a master of flame magic. His ‘Immense’ magic stat wasn’t for show; he’s likely capable of some devastating spells. His one weakness, however, is strong wind. Since he has no mass, he can be blown away fairly easily. He mentioned that being inside a sealed environment like a suit of armor actually feels quite ‘settled.’
And so, I introduced Figaro to the rest of the group at lunch. And while watching the female knights eat their slop, I made sure to harvest every bit of Ego Point they generated.

• Shinya – A former classmate of the protagonist, now a salaryman who believes his life path (university, job) is the only correct one. He derives satisfaction from looking down on those who failed, like the protagonist.
• Ami – A palm-sized fairy-like being from a world separate from both Earth and the isekai realm. She has light blue hair tied in a ponytail, mischievous blue eyes, and tiny wings that flutter behind her. Her outfit consists of a provocative high-cut leotard and a short jacket that looks like a miniskirt from the back, leaving her legs bare. Despite her playful appearance, she is actively searching for a contractor who can protect her from dangerous pursuers in exchange for the powers she offers.
• Reika – A beautiful high school kendo student who is engaged to ‘The Handsome’ for what seems like familial or arranged reasons. She is a ‘guarded’ beauty. Sha has long black hair, intense eyes, and wearing kendo uniform.
• Figaro – A non-physical Unique Individual. Appears as a flickering black flame or humanoid haze. Can occupy a suit of armor.
• Grantula – A Unique Individual in the form of a giant mechanical spider. It has metallic parts and serves as the guardian of the Dominion’s periphery.
• Vectra – A Unique Individual maid with white skin and white hair. Height 170cm, Bust Size D. Class: Duelist. Attribute: Darkness. Weapon: Star-Strike Battle Axe Volkein
