Seven-Sins-Avenger 56

Chapter 56 Lil ⑦

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

I decided to make quick work of the remaining bandits. They were the kind of scum who’d contribute nothing to the world even if I let them breathe. Once the blades were dry, my eyes drifted toward a particularly imposing cave entrance. It was massive – easily large enough to provide a whole company shelter from the elements.

Most likely, this was where they stashed the loot stripped from travelers on the mountain pass. Himezaki-san from the Merchant Guild ¹ had mentioned once that, barring a few exceptions, treasure recovered from bandits belongs to the one who finds it. The exceptions were things like family heirlooms with clear ownership or items with active police reports – and even then, you’d usually bag a reward, so it wasn’t a total loss.

With a surge of anticipation, Lil and I stepped into the gloom. The interior was pitch black, so I flicked a ‘Light’ spell from my Lifestyle Magic ² repertoire to illuminate the cavern. We hadn’t even pushed thirty meters inside before the path split in two.

 ”Sieben.”

Lil called out. Her face was twisted in a grimace, her hand clamped tight over her nose and mouth.

 ”What is it?” I asked.

”I smell humans to the right… and the stench is unbearable,” Lil replied.

”Residual bandits? What about the left?”

 ”Nothing of note.”

”Right. Let’s check the right fork first.”

Lil looked absolutely miserable, but I wasn’t about to risk a sudden attack from behind just because we were being squeamish. Sword in hand, I led the way deeper into the dark.

It didn’t take long for the stench to hit me, too. It was a foul, heavy miasma of excrement and stale s**men – a cocktail of filth that made my stomach churn. If it was this bad for me, it must have been pure torture for Lil’s superhuman senses.

”You can head back if you need to,” I offered.

”No… I’m okay,” she managed, her voice strained.

Despite her visible nausea, she stood her ground. I didn’t expect anyone as dangerous as Zayed to be lurking here, so I let her follow.

We eventually reached the end of the tunnel. It opened into a roughly hewn chamber, the floor covered in straw that was matted with old urine and feces. This was the source of the rot. And there, huddled in the filth, were four women.

They were stripped bare, crouching in the shadows. Two of them were fitted with ring-shaped gags – bits designed to keep their mouths open. Their skin was stained with layers of dried semen. It didn’t take a genius to figure out what kind of hell they’d been living through.

”Smells like shit, and the hygiene is even worse,” I muttered to myself.

I didn’t waste time. I cast a series of Lifestyle Magic spells to break down the filth clinging to the walls and the women’s bodies, then cycled the stagnant air out of the room. Lifestyle Magic is a lifesaver. I couldn’t fathom why the sorcerers in Plaudix didn’t bother teaching this stuff. The difference in quality of life is night and day.

I approached the woman with the short red hair. She wasn’t gagged. She had a decent build – not quite on Lil’s level, but she had visible abdominal muscles, suggesting she’d been trained to some extent.

 ”Hey. You alright – “

”Stop! No more, please!” the woman shrieked. She scrambled backward, eyes wide with terror.

”Look, you don’t have to be scared. We’re here to help. You’re safe now,” I said.

”Liar! You’re just saying that to trick us!” she wailed, her voice thick with a strange, rough accent. “You’ll say something sweet, get our hopes up, and then drop us right back into hell!”

”I’m not going to do that. Finding this place was a fluke, honestly, but that doesn’t change the fact that we’re getting you out of here,” I replied.

Lil stepped forward with a gentle smile, offering her hand, but the redhead just shook her head violently.

What is with that weird accent? It sounded like a localized dialect, but my internal translator was rendering it as some kind of awkward, forced slang.

”You’re lying… You probably got caught by them too, didn’t you?” the girl asked.

”And why the hell would I lie about that?” I sighed.

She was completely broken by the violence she’d endured. I looked at the others. There was a girl with long, pale blue hair – likely younger than us. She didn’t even flinch when I spoke. For a second, I thought she was a corpse, but I could see the slight rise and fall of her chest. Her mind was just… gone.

Then there was a girl with black hair – a rarity in this world – whose eyes were glazed over. The last one, a girl with fluffy pink hair, seemed the most coherent. I decided to start by getting the gag off her. I couldn’t help but notice she was massive. Easily a triple-digit bust measurement.

The gags were locked, and I didn’t have time to hunt for a key. Luckily, the harnesses were leather. I pulled out the dagger I’d taken from Koganei.

”I’m going to cut this off. Don’t move. If you slip, it’ll be more than a scratch,” I warned.

The girl gave a small, submissive nod. The blade sliced through the tough leather like it was butter. It was actually sharper than the sword I’d seen Akiyama using – definitely a high-tier piece of gear.

I pulled the bit out of her mouth. It was slick with saliva. Given the shape of the ring, it was obviously designed for oral access. Removing it felt like stripping away a layer of their degradation.

”Thank you so much. You really saved me there,” the pink-haired girl said, her voice breathy and unnervingly casual.

”Don’t mention it. Like I said, it was a coincidence. But I wasn’t going to just leave you here,” I said.

 ”Is that right?” she asked.

”You seem… surprisingly fine, considering the state of the other three,” I noted.

”Oh, yes. I’m used to it. You see, I’m a Miko ³,” the girl replied.

In this world, a Miko was a woman chosen by the Hero Church or the Aurelia Church, dedicated to ‘healing the hearts and bodies’ of men. They were trained in specialized s*xual techniques, alongside high-level cooking and domestic skills. There were male versions, too, though their roles were just as gender-reversed. The Aurelia Church Miko served anyone, while the Hero Church ones were usually reserved for the ‘Hero’ himself. Naturally, the two churches hated each other’s guts.

The girl, Alisha, filled me in on the details. They had been part of a merchant caravan, acting as guards for the blue-haired girl, Marguerite. A month ago, Zayed’s crew slaughtered the men and kept the women as playthings. Marguerite’s mind had snapped under the pressure. Mime, the redhead, and Mercedes, the black-haired girl, were on the verge of following suit.

They weren’t shackled, but they couldn’t run. Every single one of them had had their Achilles tendons sliced. Their ankles were wrapped in filthy, makeshift bandages.

”I could have fixed them right after it happened, but it’s been too long now. I don’t think my magic can reach it anymore. It’s such a shame,” Alisha said, looking down, though her tone remained oddly airy.

On the other side of the room, Mime was finally cracking.

”Wait… for real? You really came to save us?” Mime asked.

”I’ve been saying that for five minutes,” I replied.

”Thank God… We’re actually saved…” she wailed, throwing herself into Lil’s arms and sobbing uncontrollably.

I moved to Mercedes and cut her gag off, too. She remained unresponsive, muttering nonsense under her breath. The reason she and Alisha had been gagged was to prevent them from chanting sorcery.

”So, being saved is great and all, but we still can’t walk with these legs,” Alisha said.

”She’s right,” Mime added, pulling away from Lil. “Alisha can still make a living as a Miko even if she’s a cripple. But me? I’m a mercenary. My career is over. I’m washed up.”

She looked ready to give up on life again. But I had an ace in the hole.

”Actually, I might be able to fix that,” I said.

”Really?! You mean it? Then do it! Fix me now!” Mime demanded.

 ”Is that true?” Alisha asked.

”I have to try it to be sure. But… there’s a catch,” I said.

When I explained that the treatment required s*x, Mime’s face went pale.

”What? You… you can’t be serious,” Mime stammered.

”It’s probably too much for Mime right now,” Alisha noted.

I couldn’t blame her. After being a literal toy for a month, the idea of more s*x – even for healing – was revolting. Honoka could have used healing magic, but she’d mentioned she hadn’t mastered the high-level restoration spells yet.

Which left me with one option.

”…I guess I’ll have to use the Nectar ,” I muttered.

”N-Nectar?! Are you insane?!” Mime yelped. “That’s way too much! I don’t have the kind of money to pay for something that legendary!”

She wasn’t wrong. Nectar was a national treasure. It almost never hit the open market, and when it did, it cost at least one Large Gold Coin. It wasn’t something you just used on a whim.

I’d had Honoka brew some recently. We’d managed a lot of Soma and Elixir, but only a single vial of Nectar. Soma restored MP, Nectar healed all physical wounds and restored LP, and the Amrita was a resurrection drug that doubled as a youth elixir.

”How do you even have something like that?” Mime asked.

 ”Trade secret,” I replied.

If word got out about Honoka’s skills, it would be a disaster.

”But even if you use that, it’s still going to lead to s*x in the end, isn’t it?” Alisha asked.

 ”Ugh… well…” I started.

”In that case, I’ll go first,” Alisha said.

”Wait… are you sure? I mean, I’m the one who suggested it, but…” I asked.

”Oh, yes. If s*x is the price for walking again, it’s a bargain. Go ahead, just take me right here,” Alisha replied.

Alisha thumped her chest, her massive breasts swaying with the movement. Well, if she was game, I wasn’t going to argue. And that was how I found myself about to have s*x with a girl I’d just met.

 Summary:

Sieben and Lil discover a hidden chamber within a bandit cave containing four traumatized women. They learn the victims were guards for a merchant caravan who were brutally abused and physically crippled by Zayed’s group. Sieben offers to heal them using legendary Nectar, which leads to a s*xual arrangement with Alisha.

 —

 Trivia:

 - Sieben is using gear stolen from Koganei and Akiyama.

 - The women are crippled specifically by having their Achilles tendons sliced.

 - Lifestyle Magic is often overlooked by ‘professional’ sorcerers in this world.

 - The ‘Miko’ role in this setting is explicitly s*xualized and standardized by the churches.

 - Amrita is a resurrection/de-aging drug, while Nectar is for wounds/LP

 —

 Character Insight:

Sieben shows a blend of pragmatism and mercy, using rare items like Nectar for strangers while maintaining a clinical detachment. Alisha displays high resilience or institutionalized coping, volunteering herself to ensure the others’ recovery.

 —

 Behind the Scenes:

The author uses Mime’s ‘fake accent’ as a meta-joke about translation conventions and regional dialects in fantasy settings.
