I was currently being hoisted up by my arms by Muse, the maid, and Merluza, the Captain of the Guard. Queen Cecile-heika led the way, guiding us into a mysterious hidden corridor.

”Indeed. This is a secret passage known only to those close to the Royal Family. It allows one to exit the castle in an emergency. Though, on occasion, I find it serves as a rather convenient shortcut,” Cecile-heika explained.
”I really feel like you shouldn’t be showing a guy like me a place like this, Heika…” I replied.
I knew it. It was exactly that kind of passage. It was a bit late to try and close my eyes now; there was no way I could just pretend I hadn’t seen the monarchy’s private escape route.
”There is no issue as long as you are the ‘Consultant,’” she said.
”In other words, you have no intention of taking ‘no’ for an answer?” I asked.
”Did I not tell you from the start? I have decided to involve you in everything,” the Queen said with a straight face.
She spoke with such casual confidence that it was almost impressive. It was fine that she seemed to be enjoying herself, but I couldn’t help but wonder where on earth I was being taken. Given her tone, I didn’t think my life was in danger, but still…
”By the way, I intend to eventually connect this passage directly to your ‘Ddo-Buddy¹ Mansion.’ Expect construction to begin shortly,” Heika added.
”Wait, what?! Why?! You can’t just decide that on your own…!” I shouted.
”It was not ‘on my own.’ Your slave, Lily, has already given her consent. In fact, your presence here right now was also cleared by her,” Cecile-heika said.
”You’ve got to be kidding me…” I muttered.
The betrayal! To think I’d be sold out by my own precious, beloved experimental slave! Well, if Lily signed off on it, then it was definitely going to be fine.
The real question was her motive. Was she thinking, ‘You need to suffer a bit for once,’ or was it more like, ‘Master will probably enjoy himself more if he’s kept in the dark’?
I felt a little more at ease and let my legs dangle as they carried me. Eventually, Heika came to a stop. This exit was also concealed behind the back of some ornate furniture. She pushed the door open and led me inside.
”Is this… your bedroom, Heika?” I asked.
”It is exactly what it looks like,” she replied.
I see. The pieces were finally starting to fall into place. I watched Cecile-heika’s back as she strode toward the massive, silk-draped canopy bed.
With the war and the ‘Stampede’ mess over, she seemed to have regained her regal luster. Her golden hair caught the light beautifully. Seeing her like this, her silhouette seemed unexpectedly delicate. I felt a lump form in my throat.
Without a word, she kicked off her shoes and climbed onto the bed on her knees. There was something strangely suggestive about the way she straightened her shoes, her legs encased in those pristine white tights.
She crawled toward the center of the bed with her rear turned toward me, then spun around to sit down. Her everyday skirt flared out around her, and for a split second, I caught a glimpse of the princess she must have been a decade ago.
”Now then… since we have come this far, I imagine you have some idea of what follows. Your fourth duty… the job is… well, in other words…” Cecile said, her voice trailing off.
Perhaps a poker face was a mandatory skill for a ruler, as her expression remained stoic, but her neck was beginning to flush a deep crimson. Muse and Merluza finally set me back down on the floor.
”What I mean is… think of it as… a bug repellent. Both for my sake and yours. Or perhaps… ‘fatigue relief’ would be a better term. Yes! You are to be a… a substitute for the ‘Ddo-Buddy’! Or rather, you can consider this a reward! I-I mean, it’s not like you’re hurting for female company, I’m sure! But I’ve heard you’re incredibly soft on any woman you’ve… laid hands on! So, you see, this is a strategic move…!” she rambled.
Her speech was a mess-speeding up, slowing down, and stumbling over itself. Her eyes darted around the room as she gripped her skirt in a white-knuckled fist. The heat was rising from her neck to the tips of her ears, and a fine sheen of sweat broke out on her skin.
”I… I went as far as to put on an open-cup bra and crotchless shorts today!!!” the Queen shouted.
I thought my nose was going to explode. I have no idea what kind of mental gymnastics she had to perform to get to this point, but the result was the Queen of the realm screaming a frantic declaration about her lingerie.
I was starting to doubt if this was even the same woman I’d been dealing with, but then I felt Muse and Merluza shove me forward. They showed no sign of leaving; apparently, they were going to be present as well.
Well, she is the Queen. Even if the man in question is a weakling like me, she probably can’t be left entirely unescorted. I tried to use that logic to numb my brain as I slowly approached the bed.
”A-And we will be using protection, understood?! I will not have any scandals regarding the line of succession! This is strictly a political decision; my own desires have… very little to do with it! However, the rumors already claim you are my paramour… and since no one has protested Roland’s investiture because of it, I figured I might as well not let the opportunity go to waste! B-But don’t get the wrong idea! It’s not like I like you! You’re just… a convenient existence that happens to fit the situation…!” she explained.
I took off my shoes and climbed onto the mattress. As I got closer, she just kept leaking every thought in her head. It was probably only the tip of the iceberg, too. It was clear she’d spent way too much time overthinking this. In the end, this was the conclusion she’d reached: dragging me into her bed.
”Is that understood?! We are still Master and Servant! Don’t you dare get over-familiar! And while I may be used to the ‘Ddo-Buddy,’ don’t you go doing anything heartless! I’ve heard exactly what you did to Muse and Merluza, you hear?! S-Such cruel behavior… such cruel behavior is–“
The moment my knee brushed against the hem of her skirt, she froze. I heard her swallow hard, her mouth hanging open as she struggled for air. I moved even closer, the fine fabric of the bedsheets rustling beneath me.
She couldn’t even bring herself to back away. Her hands trembled against her lap. She looked up at me, then glanced desperately at Muse and Merluza for support, before looking back at me and squeezing her eyes shut, unable to take it anymore.
I reached out and hooked my fingers under her smooth chin. She gave a sharp, involuntary jolt, but she didn’t pull away. I almost let out a heavy sigh.
She couldn’t even seduce a man without a thousand excuses. And yet, this close, her beauty was staggering. This was probably the closest we’d been since that time she headbutted me.
I cupped her cheeks in both hands, tilting her head just right. And then… yeah. I think I finally understood how that prince felt when he stumbled across Snow White. I pulled back slowly, and when she opened her eyes-those damp, shimmering eyes-they looked like polished jewels, or a clear summer sky reflected in a still pond. She was breathtaking.
”……”
The Queen remained silent, like a child lost in a dream. She traced her own soft, pale-pink lips with her fingertip, the skin yielding slightly under her touch. She stayed like that for a long time before her voice finally returned.
”O-One more time…” she whispered.
”If you’ll have me, Your Majesty. As you wish,” I replied.
I leaned in again, just as I was told. Cecile dutifully closed her eyes and stayed perfectly still, accepting me. But when I tried to pull away, she followed, chasing my lips for just a second longer. She looked up at me again with a dazed expression, her eyes filled with a longing she could no longer hide.
This time, we didn’t need words for the third kiss. It lasted longer than the first two combined. By the third, she didn’t even have time to process the sensation before she was reaching for more. Four times, five times… her hands found their way to my chest, pulling me closer.
The gap between our faces grew smaller, and the silences between our breaths vanished. The air grew thick and hot. Becoming impatient, she began to press her lips against mine with a clumsy intensity, nibbling at me with a raw, unpracticed hunger.
In the end, those innocent, fumbling kisses didn’t stop until she was finally satisfied-which took well over a hundred repetitions.
